Robinia in Glenwood is a working homestead located on 24 acres of mostly forested land. The predominant species in the mixed hardwood forests are Robinia Pseudoacacia (Black locust) and Black Walnut. There are places on the land and a short walk away along DuBois and Glenwood Heights Roads where there are wonderful views of Cayuga Lake. It is less than a mile walk or ride to the Black Diamond Trail, a hiking and biking trail that extends four+ miles North to Taughannock Falls State Park and four+ miles South to Cass Park, the Ithaca Children's Garden, and the City of Ithaca Municipal Pool. Krys was very communicative and answered all my questions prior to arrival. She greeted us when we arrived. The grass had been freshly mowed and the campsite locations were large. We needed to be near Ithaca and Cayuga Lake and this was the perfect location.

For us, this spot offered a good combination of seclusion and convenience! We felt perfectly tucked away at our site, but were very conveniently located near things we wanted to do, including Ithaca and Taughannock. The land was meadowy with many mown paths plus enough trees for shade. We camped near (and used) the pair of "hammock trees". Really nice to have a real bathroom! Krys was friendly and relaxed, and even with other campers at the other spots, all were spread out, we only really saw anybody while arriving and leaving. Thanks Krys!

Kevin's cabin was the perfect retreat for our family of four, 3 of whom love to camp, and one who likes to be surrounded by nature but is loathe to give up the comforts of home. The location is lovely and peaceful, with a beautifully laid out yard surrounded by woods. Everything is clean, comfortable, and well thought out in the house, which has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The hot tub, fire pit, hammocks, and yard games were such wonderful touches to make our stay extra relaxing and memorable. Hope to return again!

It’s perfect. Clearly the hosts themselves use and love this place. The kitchen is super well equipped, the hot tub is easy to use and soooo relaxing. The mountainside is quiet and thickly forested; bugs not so bad: tons of firewood and a great setup for sitting quietly outside in every kind of weather.Beds are super, everything is super!

Kevin was very quick to respond to any question I had. The cabin is very modern and clearly has been updated recently. The backyard is private with a hot tub. I hike the D and H trail which is very close by and stopped at buck falls, both nice stops.

This is a beautiful and comfortable cabin. The outside is excellent with a nice patio, fire pit, plenty of firewood, and a hot tub. The owner is very responsive and provided clear instructions for check in and check out. Definitely a 10/10 experience.

We had an amazing stay at this house over the weekend! Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, making it both beautiful and incredibly cozy. The atmosphere is so inviting; it truly feels like a home away from home. One special touch was the little kitten living underneath the house—such a sweet addition! It would be wonderful if future guests could leave a little treat for him. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!
