Neighborhood description Rustic Run is a secluded cabin located on private land surrounded by timber lands and the Allegheny National Forest. Access to hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing fishing, hunting, geocaching, wildlife viewing, ATV and snowmobile trails are all within a short drive. A handful of golfing options are available within a 30-minute radius or less. The bridge on the property crosses over the creek and provides access to the area timber lands and Allegheny National Forest. There is a cooperative agreement between the timber lands and ANF which allows for non-motorized, public use. Off trail-hiking is plentiful all around the cabin. Chapman State Park is about a 10 minute drive. Kinzua Dam; Jake's Rocks are 20-25 minute drive. Open year-round. Getting around Winter Months Require 4WD vehicles to access cabin. Although, the road is well maintained Pennsylvania winters can create unexpected conditions. Road and driveway are icy during winter and early spring. This is an amazing campsite. Very well thought out in design and very private. Out of my 6 days on the road this was my best night. Tons of firewood, plenty of space for large groups, a great patio with seating boulders and ample space for parking. Highly recommend. Oh, super nice guy as well!

This was a wonderful property there was so much to do within a short distance wish we could have stayed a whole week. Hosts were very hospitable delivering firewood and giving us a shuttle so we could pick up our kayaks after a day of paddling they're also very knowledgeable of the area and we're able to point out a few things that we took advantage of being able to do that we would not have found if it wasn't for them

Ed upgraded me to the pavilion site for free, as it was available and it was raining, with more expected over the weekend. It was such a cozy spot, and I loved the lights and having a dry place to keep all my gear! The loft was a cool bonus! Ed and his dad were both friendly and super accommodating. I purchased the firewood bundle, and it was more than I needed for two nights. They even gave me some fire starter and found a space heater that I could use in my tent if I got too cold. I saw deer out in the field in the evening, and the crickets singing was peaceful. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the constant droning background noise which I think was from the papermill down in town. It kind of made for a white noise at night, just louder than I liked. But the hosts have a good piece of land up there on the hill. They had a map of the property. There are trails that I didn't even have time to explore because I was out visiting parks for much of the day. This campground was a great base from which to visit Kinzua Bridge, about a half hour away. They have a variety of campers to stay in also. It was a fun fall getaway, and the hosts were a pleasure!

The host was outstanding, the spot was super cute and easy to camp at and it was a great experience. The spot is right off the road, across the street from a stream and down the street from a dam where you can easily go hang out and/or fish without a lot of other people around. There's a picnic table, swing, trash can and fire pit, as shown in the pics. The pond is right next to the campsite, yet somehow I did not get bothered by a single mosquito even though they eat me alive in my own backyard that does not have any kind of water nearby. It was really convenient and just a super easy place to camp. My only warning to other campers is not to park too far in beyond the fire pit- my dumb arse got a Jeep Gladiator stuck in the mud. Susan and her husband had to come tow me out, which they did with ease and they were really nice about it, even though I interrupted their entire Sunday. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you.

This was unique spot to spend the last night of summer. The site was a well maintained, with the grass just being mowed and free from previous guest trash. The porta potty was clean and did the job. You can tell a lot of work has been done with the new privacy fencing and gravel driveway. We had no issues maneuvering our 23 ft RV into place

We absolutely loved it! My husband’s from UT. Camping is his thing, not mine…but this was awesome. Well stocked camp site. Everything you need is there….and clean with a white duvet (my personal fav). Clean bathrooms, showers, a beach, bike trail, walking trails, waterfalls nearby…truly a nice weekend adventure. We came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and had a few friend’s join us for a few days and it was a wonderful experience! This was our first time using Hipcamp so we weren’t sure what to expect but our experience tops any camping experience we’ve had previously! The weather was beautiful with it being warm and sunny during the day and nice and cool during the nights! It was so cozy and quiet! I loved listening to the sounds of the frogs in the pond near the site and hearing the rushing water in the near by river! It was really nice looking up at the stars at night too! I also loved how many butterflies there were flying around! Susan was a very responsive and attentive host, making sure we had everything we needed and I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a nice peaceful and quiet weekend camping trip!

I loved staying there the school house is creepy which that's was what I was going for. But lots of room to do stuff. And pretty close to towns . Lots of place to fish near buy. I'm deffently going to book with him again
