My son and I loved our stay! The cabin was clean, spacious, and nicely located with plenty of fun things to do in the area. The hot tub was a great perk too! We plan on coming back in the spring when Penn Cave is open.

Booked for a Christmas get away with my boyfriend and it beat our expectations. Very cozy and romantic but also good for families. They have thought of everything you need. Bellefonte itself is a beautiful town if you are looking to get out no matter what time of year. The hot tub was a bonus that was very relaxing. Can't wait to return!

Weekend Trip to Hartman Center Campground

What a lovely location and well appointed tiny home! We had all that we needed and the contact person was very reachable for questions. Cabin 24 is set apart from the other ones and feels very peaceful/private. The warm from the house melted a path on the deck and stairway for easy access, despite the snow and ice. While we did not make use of the camp store, it was great to know there was extra firewood available for purchase if needed. I would recommend staying here for quiet, clear, starry skies, and the small hikes throughout the property. There is plenty to see without leaving the grounds, but the location is very convenient for antiquing and general shopping, lots of parks and sights nearby. We enjoyed all the fresh animal tracks in the snow one morning after an evening snowfall. What a cozy winter getaway this was!

I absolutely loved my stay at Campground #79. It was the perfect escape from the city …peaceful, clean, and cozy in every way. The cabin had everything we needed, from a super relaxing hot tub to excellent heating that kept the space warm and comfortable. The host was amazing; attentive, responsive, and great with communication. They walked us through check-in and check-out, which made everything smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend this cabin for both couples and families looking to disconnect and recharge. The location also has plenty to do, with nearby restaurants and activities, all neatly listed in the guidebook inside the cabin. It truly had everything we needed for a perfect weekend getaway. Would definitely stay again

Cabin was amazing. Beyond clean, sleek, with modern functions. I got it especially for the hottub lol. Highly recommend checking out the antique stores in the area, and Big Valley antiques 40 mins away, a true shoppers haven. Can't speak for the food in the area since I brought my own. But well worth the trip and will tell all my friends.

Amazing little place in the trees and by the river. My partner and I had an amazing time lounging on the dock and want to come back to fully enjoy the river when it's hotter next year! The fully equipped kitchen and that powerful little stove made us some great meals that felt perfect for the end of summer. Can't wait to return!

Lovely place, fresh air, tree house is small but well suited, definitely coming back, love that is close to the river, had so much fun in it we fished with my daughter. She learned there how to ride a kayak for the first time. Over all little tree house is a must on a bucket list. As for the host very attentive, respectful. He has the place neat and well mantain. My guests and I absolutely adored our cabin. It’s the perfect size for a few people whilst not feeling cluttered. The hot tub was amazing and we had a great fire as well. Rain took over one of our days so we didn’t get to explore as much as we would have liked. Maria at the front office was an absolute gem and made our trip so much easier to navigate. Absolutely love this campground!
