The hosts philosophy is to not bother you at all during your stay unless you have a specific need or concern, so your stay is all yours. The price is kept low to reflect this a campsite rental, not a hosted Airbnb. With that said every effort is made to make things comfy. The cabin is located on my now husband's family property. They raise beef cattle, corn, oats, and hay, and have owned the land since the 1930s. Our hilltop is beautiful, but we may be biased! Relax by the fire or explore the adjacent PA State Game Lands on foot or bike. Boat and fish the Allegheny River that's a short drive from the cabin.  The cabin does not have electricity or running water. Firewood, indoor heat, electric lanterns, and an outhouse are available for guest use. Minimal AT&T and Verizon cell service. In winter an AWD or 4WD vehicle is recommended to access the cabin.
