Enjoy the calm, quiet serenity of the South Santiam River. Get back to the basics here and just relax and enjoy nature. We have a small cabin with a bunk bed, and a camping toilet is provided. Bring your tent or camper for extra room.
Our campsite is nestled among the trees next to the river. There's lots to enjoy. Do you like hiking? Silver Falls State Park is only 36 miles away. Boating? You can put in your kayak/canoe at Gills Landing in Lebanon and float down the river back to the campsite. Fishing? Bring your fishing pole and try catch and release in our pond. Swimming? Take a swim in the cool water. Of course, you can just relax by the water's edge and enjoy the tranquility provided by the soothing flow of the river.
This 192 sq. ft. cabin is very basic. There is no shower, but there is a portable toilet with a wash station located outside. We do provide a full 5-gallon water cooler for drinking since there is no running water. For cooking there is a 24" Blackstone 2-burner griddle, and small propane cans are provided. Also, the cabin is furnished with a small supply of pots and pans. There is a battery that provides lighting, and phone charging is available in the cabin. During the cooler months, there is a small wood stove for heating, and firewood is provided. The cabin sleeps 2, but there is room for a camper and/or tents. This campsite is meant to be very simple, so you should plan on bringing whatever you may need/want for camping.

This is a two bedroom cabin (queen bed in one room, twin over queen bunkbed in the 2nd bedroom), hot shower, small kitchen and living quarters. No wifi or cable but there is a TV with a VHS player and a clock radio. Come and unplug and enjoy the heart of the Willamette Valley! We are close to Mallard Creek golf course, Oregon Jamboree, excellent turkey hunting in the area, 30 minute drive to OSU, about 1 hour to University of Oregon. Great central location to explore the Willamette Valley.
Kitchen has small refrigerator, coffee maker, griddle, hot plate, toaster, microwave and a gas grill outside. We do not have an oven or stove. We supply plates, cups, utensils, paper towels, etc. Bedding and towels also provided.

The cabin and surrounding property was so wonderful. Close to town yet it felt like we were far far away. And it all to ourseleves!
So many thoughtful amenities such as towels, tea and a tea pot, cooking oil and spices. Books and board games.
It was clean and welcoming. The water felt great and was ready for us to spend all day down at the waters edge. Definitely will be back and would recommend this to anyone wanting a special getaway.

Very peaceful and quiet. The cabin was clean and came with everything we needed to make our stay cozy including coffee and tea. Our dog loved being able to be off leash so he could wander around. We had a great time splashing around in the pond and river and found a crawdad. The one thing I would maybe change is that I wish the cabin had blinds or curtains so we could have slept a little longer.

Weekend Trip to Santiam Serenity
This place is amazing. Everything that we needed was provided. No need for bug spray, but they provided it anyway. We played in the water all day and say by the fire all night. Dogs loved being able to run free without bothering other people. Blackstone was great for meals. We didn't have kids with us, but the water is great for kids! We will definitely be back.

The cabin on Michelle's property was the perfect stay, close by to Silver Falls State Park.
Our dogs loved it, and we had a great time.
In late July, the creek was a little low and slow, but there was plenty of shade.
We really appreciated the water, and the Blackstone, and hope to make it back sometime soon.

5 nights at Santiam Serenity
This little cabin alongside a creek connected to the Santiam River was truly blissful. The cabin itself came with many amenities already, like a Blackstone, cookware, cups and plates, etc., so not much is needed from a packing perspective. There's a sizeable fire pit just a quick walk down a path on the beach of the creek, with plenty of chairs to accommodate guests and soak up the serenity. The watering hole was just deep enough to be swimmable for our pups, Harrison and Alfred, two lab mixes. For a deeper (human) swim, there's a pathway you can follow on the other side of the creek that drops you right along the Santiam River. If you don't like the bunk bed setup, make sure to bring a smaller air mattress, but we found them comparable as is. Definitely a 5/5 experience for us, and we can't wait to come back to this little getaway!

This rustic cabin was way more comfortable than it looks on the pictures. The river is beautiful, there is a little island you can wank around on and get accross to the bigger part of Santiam river on the other side.
You would never imagine that there is this little slice of heaven on this farm, it's hidden from the road. My dog and I loved it, you can just sit on the porch and listen to the birds. It seems that quite a few solo women and their dogs stay here and it's super safe and peaceful. Michelle responds way faster than I've ever seen from others. Highly reccomend.

Cute cabin and very private! Sitting by the creek was so relaxing. Everything was clean inside and well stocked! Definitely a rustic experience (outdoor bathroom, no running water or refrigeration), but lots of comforts! The fresh flowers were a lovely touch!

Kristin is an amazing host! We brought our one year old with us and he loved the cows and cherries on the tree. The kitchen was cozy with beautiful views of the mountains. The kitchen also had a small dorm fridge and a grill outside to prepare food. Everything we needed to cook was in the kitchen such as plastic utensils, bowls, plates, knives and spatulas. The pellet stove kept the Bunk House warm at night too. We would visit again.

This was our second time camping here in less than a month. We didn’t use the cabin due to having our trailer but looks really cozy inside!
