Not too far from home, but just far enough to feel like an adventure, we are conveniently located 20 minutes outside the quaint college town of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Our sites offer both large open areas for vehicles and activities paired with private wooded forest for tents and seclusion. Individual sites are many acres apart designed in such a way that every experience is peaceful and private. We offer maintained camping sites which are easily accessible that come with amenities, in addition to our alternative primitive camping experience for the pros further in the Backwoods. What ever your needs or preference we have a spot for you! We have easy access to two main highways with the nearest Walmart 10 minutes away, not to mention great cell phone coverage for all the main providers at most locations on the property.
A little bit about how we started. Like most of us, we were in desperate need of a place to get away from the bustle and grind of daily life, to slow down, decompress, and destress. This land the universe had waiting for us, gave us just that! It changed our lives and now we are excited to open up this sanctuary to others who share our passion for the great outdoors! Interestingly, each year we find out more about our home, from its Native American prehistory, to its 19th century Civil War conflict, and most recently, a lost article published in the 1940s in the local Oklahoman gazette that enticingly gossips about long lost Buried Treasure!

Pitch a tent in the lovely Pottawatomie County in Oklahoma. We have created a wonderful site in the middle of the forest for you! Lovely oak trees as far as the eye can see, barred owls, deer, hundreds of species of birds. Feel free to explore in designated areas (ask me about other areas outside your campsite), feel nature's rejuvenating energy and be in our sacred space. The site is walk in only, about 100 yards, so bring your wheel barrow or cart, although the property is 15 acres in its entirety, the campsite is on about a quarter acre with one large central site and a few alcove sites. We do have neighbors up the hill, but there is NO Visual of these houses. Sometimes neighborhood kids ride their 4 wheelers down our road and use our cul-de-sac to turn around, and you might occasionally hear them, but you can't see them and they can't see you, but most of the time it's very quiet.

Weekend Trip to The Porch @ Morning Glory FARM
What an incredible first Hipcamp experience! I was lucky enough to be my host’s very first guest, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome.
She greeted me with a homemade spice cake when I arrived, sent me off the next morning with fresh homemade biscuits and her delicious homemade apricot jam, and even put together a thoughtful little gift bag with snacks for the road. Those personal touches made me feel less like I was renting a campsite and more like I was being welcomed into someone’s home.
The campsite itself was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what I needed after several days of hiking and exploring that ended with a long car ride. As a solo female traveler, I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout my stay.
Mary has such a generous heart and a genuine gift for hospitality. I sincerely hope this is the first of many, many guests for her because she deserves every booking she gets. If you’re looking for a place that feels welcoming, relaxing, and filled with kindness, I can’t recommend this Hipcamp enough.

Crystal's land is perfect for quick getaway for boondockers and tent campers. The pond and surrounding area is beautifully kept and peaceful. Crystal and her husband were quick to respond our questions and are very friendly. I think this may be an app problem, but when I press the button for directions, it takes Google maps to a different location approximately 1/4 mile farther up the road.

A great experience - again! Such beautiful land, and we were able to explore into the back areas as well. The composting toilet is a great amenity, as is the new flush toilet and shower! Ash made sure we knew of things close by for entertainment as well as to keep cool, such as the Cushing water park. Although we got hit with a good thunderstorm, Ash also made sure we were alright and let us know what to do in case the weather turned truly dangerous. Overall, Star Valley Acres is a great spot for tent camping, especially with young kids who like to run around :) We will definitely be back again in the fall!

Lisa was an incredible host from the very start, communicating clearly to make sure I had perfect directions. During some heavy weather, she went above and beyond by personally welcoming me into her home to ensure my safety, which gave me great peace of mind. The pole barn providing cover was a huge plus, keeping my RV protected. And of course, having the pygmy goats, chickens, and the donkeys next door was an absolute delight—they were so entertaining and added so much character to the experience. It's a wonderful, quiet spot that I'd highly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay on Kathy’s land. The guard dogs are exceedingly friendly creatures. I slept on the ground in a screened bivy tent and during the night when I looked around, the three dogs had positioned themselves around me. I felt very safe lol! You should be aware that the camping area is in the enclosure for the herd of male llamas. They did not bother me at all while I was sleeping however, the most overly friendly one of them did nip my arm when I first arrived. I just made a point of shooing him away after that and there was no further issue.
This was a one night stop for me. I did not use the provided fire pit as it was too hot but noted it was well laid out. The potty is located in a repurposed horse trailer which is open air and I could not find a way to close the door. This was not a problem for me as it faced an open field and was therefore private.
The land is semi-rural and although I did not see neighbors I did hear them and their 80’s jams. Also the camping is right next to a road with intermittent traffic. 8-10 vehicles drove by in the 10 hours I was there…some late at night.
I would return for a one night stop-over should I ever be in the area needing a place to sleep and some serious doggy hugging. I would not return to stay multiple nights. Not private enough for my taste.

This spot was one of the best I’ve stayed at. First, the hosts were SUPER responsive and communicated well. I was able to drive in and follow their excellent directions/ instructions by myself.
The space is like an open prairie with green grass, wild flowers and peace and quiet. I was unable to take the VW tour, but I will next time!
The bathroom was great! This space is close (but not too close) to a little town in every direction in case you need supplies.

This is such a great spot!
I chose the primitive campsite, I was able to hike or drive in. There were trees that worked for my hammock tent, a clearing and pit for a fire and a cute trail to walk. The property is very peaceful and well kept.
Atlas, the grounds dog, was such a sweet boy and walked me to my campsite and hung out until I got set up.
Owner is very kind and answered any questions I had. I had plenty of privacy and felt safe on the grounds.
As we are entering the summer season, understandably there were a lot of ticks, so be sure to load up on bug/tent spray.
Property is located about 20 minutes from Walmart, so you can pick up any supplies if needed.
Will definitely visit again and highly recommend!
