Please come and experience the energy of our forest. Our favorites include owls, deer, eagles ... to name just a few. Come to meditate, to reconnect, relax and be STILL. Learn more about this land: Pitch a tent in the lovely Pottawatomie County in Oklahoma. We have created a wonderful site in the middle of the forest for you! Lovely oak trees as far as the eye can see, barred owls, deer, hundreds of species of birds. Feel free to explore in designated areas (ask me about other areas outside your campsite), feel nature's rejuvenating energy and be in our sacred space. The site is walk in only, about 100 yards, so bring your wheel barrow or cart, although the property is 15 acres in its entirety, the campsite is on about a quarter acre with one large central site and a few alcove sites. We do have neighbors up the hill, but there is NO Visual of these houses. Sometimes neighborhood kids ride their 4 wheelers down our road and use our cul-de-sac to turn around, and you might occasionally hear them, but you can't see them and they can't see you, but most of the time it's very quiet.

They met us when we arrived, gave us a great tour of the VW Krankenhaus (which as former owners of several different VWs, we enjoyed!), showed us where to find the facilities, and left us to set up camp. I found the location very easily and the owner even warned me of a dip in the road so I came in from a different direction (which they outlined to me) because I have a relatively low to the ground clearance trailer that I tow. Mark and Angela were very helpful reaching out to me before and during my trip. They are both VW enthusiasts and Angela gave me a tour of their VW collection in and around their pole barn garage. They were both very hospitable and I enjoyed my stay there. They made their cabana bathroom available for my stay which was super nice. Would highly recommend if you're in the Oklahoma City area as a place to stay.

Jackson was great, and the grounds were just what I needed. We were in town for the grand departure of the Mega Mid South, and we needed a place to stage and car camp before the race. Jackson was friendly and accommodating, provided us with a fire ring and let us set up wherever we wanted. Didn't get to explore the trails, but the grounds were secluded in the woods, so I am sure they were nice. I'll be back for Mid South in March!

Such friendly, welcoming hosts! If you have any interest in cars, ask them for a tour of their restored vehicle buildings. I will definitely stay here again if or when I am driving through OK.

Mark and Angela were excellent hosts. They accommodated me so well that I felt all the things that a camper should feel, safe able to rest. I was too tired to take the VW tour, but believe me Mark has the bug, sorry for the play on words. There were very kind with leading me in by the phone, and leading me out, and this was a 10 out of 10 stay.
