Weekend Trip to Paradise Valley Outlanders Plot

It was a lovely place, though the drive ways were quite narrow. Our trailer is 28 ft and would be workable, but a longer one may be challenging, depending on the driver. However, because of the proximity of cellular, radio transmission towers and a wind farm, my wife was unable to stay as she is highly sensitive to both EM band radiation and high voltage electrical fields. It's unfortunate because the host seems genuinely wonderful and the area was really nice. I did not have a reaction and think I would have slept very well, but my wife did and couldn't stay in the area, so I would recommend it for anyone who is not EM sensitive, but not for anyone who is.

Easy to find and pull into. Nice laundry facility. Beside historic Route 66. Also beside the interstate, so if that kind of noise disrupts your sleep, this may not be the best place for you. Yet another wonderful stay at Blank Canvas, lost count, fifth or sixth stay so far. Highlight was finally getting to meet Amie in person as she delivered the farm fresh eggs (from a neighbor) that we purchased along with our reservation. Just as lovely and kind as she has always been in all our communications over the years. Her site has always been a welcome break from the road, and is easily accessible in a Class-B (what we drive) or likely any model car or camper you have.

1 night at Deep Creek Ranch

Burl met us promptly when we arrived and graciously offered us any site we wanted. We chose a site next to the bathhouse because it was a bit further from the road. All the sites have full hookups and are mostly level. Burl and his family live on this working farm with horses, goats, chickens, and probably a lot more that we didn’t see. The bathhouse has a laundry room and one shower/bathroom that were cool and clean. We enjoyed watching them work with the horses after dinner and sitting in the rocking chairs in the shade. I recommend Deepcreek Ranch and would certainly stay there again. We couldn’t resist buying a few dozen farm fresh eggs for our journey.

This was a welcoming spot after being on the road for a few days. The spot was clean and quiet, complete with a cuddly kitten, a clean, full kitchen and a real bathroom. I was able to wash and cut our veggies and fruit and take our roasted chicken off the bone. It felt luxurious. I would stay here every time I cross the country on this path.
