Our glamping experience had some great moments—we really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the unique setup. It was a fun change of pace, and we appreciated being close to nature without having to fully “camp.”

What a great experience! Pretty views, coyotes in the background. And right by the wildlife refuge. The camp is just behind a great little restaurant and bar. Kelly & Darrell were great hosts. It is important to recognize you are out in nature - landscape, critters, snakes are not your friends - but I felt safe and comfortable the whole trip. Loved Hippie Hill!

This was such a fun stop along the way on our road trip. The accommodations were lovely, camping but upgraded! We loved the Hippie Cafe restaurant (carrot dogs 10/10) and being able to walk to town was perfect. Medicine Park is a surprising little gem of a town. Darrell and Kelli are very friendly and accommodating. Would for sure recommend their little slice of happiness to other campers passing through 💚

We loved staying here. I can attest they are built solid. We experienced high winds while there and it held then the next night we had rain and the rain sounded so wonderful on the tent. I do recommend bring your own fan. They provide an icybreeze cooler which is great for the night. We would definitely stay again!!!! Great location to see Mt Scott. Rode my bicycle from Hippie Hill thru the refuge. Went hiking and fishing. Loved taking a shower out in nature.

Weekend Trip to Gorgeous Barn Property

Really cool place and the hosts were great.Really close to medicine park and the restaurant the hosts own is really good, the provided a portable ice filled AC for us so it wouldn’t be so hot to sleep at night and a lantern. Lots of wild life as well.

1 night at Deep Creek Ranch

We had a great time! Tent was really cool, and the hosts were outstanding. Food and service at the cafe were excellent. We would definitely do an overnight stay there again.

Really nice stop over in Oklahoma. Burl and his crew were so kind and welcoming, letting me and my dogs explore the ranch and stretch our legs after a long car day. The shower was lovely. Would definitely stop here again!

Weekend Trip to Camp near Wichita Mountains Cache

Darrell and Kelli were super accommodating and very nice. We ended up staying in the Zion tent and it was great, I would definitely go back!

We had a nice weekend tent camping here. They do have their bathhouse open even though the listing says it is coming soon. It is right beside the highway so there is a lot of traffic noise. We were the only tent campers, the others were all RVs. It was a great location to get to Lawton and Medicine Park easily.

Nice for a quick over night stay. All the basics you need. It is beside the I40 so if not running AC you may have noise. The showers could use a little cleaning and the bathroom in general.

Tent camping here was a blast for the whole family. My kids loved exploring the hillside and my dogs enjoyed the patio area. The Shiloh tent was clean and comfortable and easily fit all five of us plus our two dogs at night. Kelli and Darrell were fantastic hosts who provided us with everything we needed. Plus their cafe was very welcoming had a great selection of food and drinks. The shopping area is a very short drive away, as was the animal refuge and mount Scott- all fun places to go with lots to do. I highly recommend this camp site for anyone visiting the Medicine Park area.

Easy to find, Carl was a great host, was very close to restaurants and coffee. Would stay there again!

1 night at Hippie Hill

The most friendly and accommodating hosts! Great location for a base to explore the Wildlife Refuge from. Hipcamp facilities share property with the hosts’ organic cafe. The cafe was amazing, allowed dog, had plenty of vegan options, and accommodated my food intolerances. The bed in the Shilo tent was comfortable with the softest sheets. My dog felt most welcome. Proximity to highway and cafe limits privacy a bit. Unless cafe is open, bathroom/shower facilities don’t have plumbed running water. Outdoor shower was a unique experience. The military activity during the night was disturbing (sounds of aircraft, bombing and artillery fire started after dark and was on and off until 2am). People staying in this area should be prepared for the chance of these disturbances, though the hosts said the activity was unusual for that late at night.

pretty much to what i expected. The view, the comforts of home and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was awesome, breakfast and convivences. The only thing that i would suggest is a small water heater for the shower lol.

Nestled just a quarter mile from the entrance of the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, our glamping village sits on a scenic hill behind our cafe, offering stunning views of Mt. Scott and direct access to nearby hiking trails. We currently feature three glamping wall tents- Zion, Selah, and Shiloh. Each tent includes a wooden deck and a framed queen-size bed, creating a cozy, romantic retreat you won't forget. Our bathhouse includes two private rooms, each equipped with a camping toilet, pump sink, and thoughtful amenities for your comfort. Our outdoor shower will be refreshing after a long hike as well! We have just installed two standing outdoor grills for your cooking needs. Both on the gravel parking lot level, one by the covered patio, the other by the picnic area. Bring your own charcoal, or add it on to your order and we will have it ready for you. Please remember to leave no trace, use trash recepticles and do not leave any food out for the wildlife. Bringing a pet? They are very welcome here, however, we now require a $30 pet fee due to additional cleaning and potential damages. Please add this on to your booking. By June 1, 2025, we'll be adding two spacious yurts, each accommodating 6-8 sleeping bags or cots - perfect for families, kids, or groups looking for a unique outdoor stay. For those seeking a more rustic experience, we also offer nine primitive walk-up campsites.
