But, there is an RV section up front for those with quiet generators with several feet of gravel under the grass to hold the weight of your camper. We charge by the carload & there are different rates for driving back toward the woods for camping depending on the number of wheels & the weight of your vehicle (a factor on the wear & tear on the land). We believe in going outside to play, growing & eating fresh food, strengthening family bonds and promoting the awareness of our natural resources. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: 1) The speed limit is 5 mph as soon as you enter the property (kids & dogs are quick to dart in front of you). 2) As a state registered campground, it is mandatory that you check in at the house to fill out a Registration Form before heading to your campsite. 3) No glass allowed anywhere on the property (we don't want our feet or paws cut open and can do without flat tires). 4) Children under 18 must be attended to at all times for their safety (the frog pool is 10' deep, the pond is 8-10' deep depending on rains, and the creek can turn into a churning river). Summer brings on the bullfrogs, butterflies, dragonflies and fireflies. Fall is a great time to pull grapevine to make wreaths & to build stick forts in the woods. We cater to the tent camper so that we can hear frogs & owls instead of generators. But, there is an RV section up front for those with quiet generators with several feet of gravel under the grass to hold the weight of your camper. We charge by the carload & there are different rates for driving back toward the woods for camping depending on the number of wheels & the weight of your vehicle (a factor on the wear & tear on the land). We believe in going outside to play, growing & eating fresh food, strengthening family bonds and promoting the awareness of our natural resources. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: 1) The speed limit is 5 mph as soon as you enter the property (kids & dogs are quick to dart in front of you). 2) As a state registered campground, it is mandatory that you check in at the house to fill out a Registration Form before heading to your campsite. 3) No glass allowed anywhere on the property (we don't want our feet or paws cut open and can do without flat tires). 4) Children under 18 must be attended to at all times for their safety (the frog pool is 10' deep, the pond is 8-10' deep depending on rains, and the creek can turn into a churning river). This is my go to spot. I come to this beautiful property a couple of times a year. James and his wife are so sweet and helpful. They maintain everything really well. Beware the wood site is full of ticks! We were pulling them off of our dogs constantly. But the site is very private and a perfect getaway.

Jim greeted us as soon as we pulled in and was absolutely lovely. His property is clearly very cared for and built with a lot of love. His pond is perfect for relaxing and our pup had an amazing time. There's a Walmart about 8 minutes away, which was great considering I forgot about 10 items haha. We will definitely come back and camp again!

Mr. Grogg is a great & sweet man! His farm is just what we needed. We will go back & always stay at #6 campsite! This place is tranquil, beautiful, & quiet. There is a lot to do: Kayaking, canoeing, hiking trails, you can swim & there is a creek that runs through. We LOVE this Place!!! Thank you Mr. Grogg for your hospitality!

I really enjoyed the privacy of the spot and the fact that a portapotty was onsite was an added bonus. Andrew is a really cool host. He was very responsive to my messages, as I booked last minute. Gave me my choice of spots on the farm. Spent a couple nights enjoying the big night sky by the pond. Another hipcamp winner!

Really pretty, well taken care of place. Level site worth a wood deck. Host was helpful and friendly. Lots of permanent residents had really fun Halloween decorations. We thought we were getting away from the Interstate to a quieter spot but didn't realize that it was right of of a busy highway and there was a lot of truck noise. I used earplugs and it didn't bother me.
