Jason’s spot was a wonderful stay! We stayed one night passing through and it was easy to find. It was a quiet, peaceful spot, but still close to town for things we needed to grab the next morning!

1 night at Towpath Trail Peace Park

Awesome spot right off the tow path. Wish I could have stayed to enjoy it but after several delays I ended up getting there after dark and had to leave asap the next morning. Being 105 miles by bike from my start was a big plus for me. Next time I pass through I'll hang around haha.

Weekend Trip to Barrel Run Creek

Booked a night here pretty spur of the moment and it’s not really camping season yet so I was surprised to see firewood stocked. We had a kid with us that was new to camping so this was a great first trip for him. The kids explored and the parents relaxed. This is close to my office so I’ll be adding it to my favorite.

1 night at Towpath Trail Peace Park

Nice property, right off of the towpath. I did an overnighter on my bike, this place was perfect for that. It's a short ride into town for restaurants. Also Joe was super nice, very knowledgeable about history of the local area and his property specifically.

Weekend Trip to Goat Farm Hide-Away CVNP

We returned for the 3rd time to camp at Allison's Gaga for Goats property. It's such a nice place to visit! The goats and other animals are so much fun to pet and are so friendly. The property is very comfortable and in a nice location for exploring the area.

2 nights at Goat Farm Hide-Away CVNP

Allison’s farm was one of the funnest places I have camped so far. We woke up to the sound of baby goats playing which just made us giggle with delight and set a happy tone for the day. The goats, chickens, ducks and turkey were introduced to us by name. The farm was clean and tidy as were the bathroom facilities. Allison even went above and beyond to loan us a few bowls when we realized we had forgotten our mess kits. She is a true gem! 10 out of 10 we recommend GaGa for Goats farm as a camping destination. Next time Im bringing my daughter and grandson. Oh, and it was an easy 8 minute drive to the Cuyahoga National Park visitor center too. Location was great and easy to find.

This was a fantastic place to camp. It was private and the hosts were fantastic.

Excellent location and beautiful property for boondocking. Close to Cuyahogo National Park, Canton, Akron and all the quaint townships you go through while going to your adventures. The hosts responded to my messages and were helpful and very nice.

Joe was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the areas history, which was very interesting to learn about. The campsite was well maintained and thoughtfully laid out. Campsites are extremely close to towpath access (basically next to it) and close by to the river so you do not have to go far for outdoor recreation. Will be back soon!

3 nights at Kim Tam Park at Melanie Springs

Despire typically not being open during the winter, the hosts went out of their way to accommodate us for a winter camping trip. The camp was nice and clean, although a bit muddy. What are you going to do though? Its winter, its always muddy no matter where you go. I bet it would be a blast to come back during the summer - swim in the lake, enjoy the facilities to their fullest. The hosts are good fun as well. We enjoyed some brief, yet fun conversation. They were very responsive and flexible as well. If we needed something, we got a response ASAP. If you're looking for a winter Hip Camp all to yourself, message the hosts and see if it's the right fit for you! We had a blast.

Went there for Thanksgiving stayed on site BRX01 and of course I was the only idiot camping this time of year. Even though it was cold Nick provided plenty wood on the site and all through out if you need more. Each site has plenty of room makes you feel like your in your own piece of property. Would comeback under warmer conditions.

Jason and his wife were great hosts. Notified us prior to arrival to let us know where to park. Lots of flat level space with a beautiful setting of a pond. Very private too. Nice fire pit area although we did not utilize it. Great location with lots to keep you busy. They gave us great recommendations of where to go and grab a bite to eat while we were there. We only stayed one night however, if we were in that area in the future we would not hesitate to stay again!

We have a half acre pond filled with bluegill and large mouth bass, a hillside with apple trees and blackberry bushes, and a large gravel turnaround for easy access.

Our farm allows for hands-on contact with our animals, along with many other activities for younger kids to enjoy during their stay. We welcome tent campers, tree hammocks, small RVs and small/mid-size campers. Primitive tent camping on the Greenville Peace Treaty Line, Buckeye Trail, Ohio-Erie Canal Towpath Trail, Scenic Byway, Tuscarawas River Water Trail, and the Great American Rail Trail! Located on the historic Ohio-Erie Canal between the village of Bolivar Ballparks and the McDonnell trailheads on the towpath trail ten miles south of Canton, Ohio, and 1.5 miles west of I-77 exit 93 on Scenic Byway Rt 212 in beautiful Tuscarawas County, Ohio. The Peace Park is designed for bikers, hikers, dog walkers, and anyone traveling through to book a campsite even if anyone isn't available to meet and greet. Campers, once booked may go to an available campsite and set up camp. Dog-friendly, handicapped-accessible Porta-Jon with hand sanitizer, shared electricity for charging phones, pristine aquifer water, picnic tables, fire pits, fire-side benches, birds, butterflies, lightning bugs, wild turkeys, deer, and other wildlife are often seen. Please note: We're located on a section of the Ohio-Erie Canal Scenic Byway, the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad, and a 90-degree corner with a slight slope that causes trucks to downshift brakes. If you're a light sleeper, we recommend bringing earplugs! We now offer disposable individual packaged earplugs in our Porta-Jon.
