We loved our stay here! The property is a dream and so cozy. We loved having the outhouse and outdoor shower/sink area. An extra special treat was being able to soak in the hot tub. Katie was available for anything we needed, but she also gave us our space to relax. Super cute kiddo and pups. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect site for us! We watched a show at Blossom and set up before the show. Then came back afterwards to have a fire and a great night's sleep. Everything was wonderful!

Really great place to camp. With the fairy lights, composting toilet, sink with running water, and the barn close by, it felt like we were positively glamping. Katie and her husband and family were super nice - the kiddo was a treat too. Would camp there again for sure!

We loved Katie’s spot. Yukon was great and I think her name was Lolie. She loved her turtle. We lucked out with weather and the pin ball games were great. Definitely would stay here again!!

Just got back from a weekend getaway with my family (and pup!) and this campsite was a gem. The barn with pinball machines was such a fun and unexpected bonus—we spent a lot of time there laughing and playing. Our site had a well-kept fire pit and picnic table, perfect for cozy evenings under the stars. We were pleasantly surprised to have access to a hot tub. The outdoor shower, outhouse, and dishwashing sink were clean and super convenient. Best of all, the host went above and beyond—friendly, helpful, and always attentive without being intrusive. Couldn’t have asked for a better setup for making memories. Would absolutely return!

Katie and family were great hosts and accommodating considering the weather conditions. Absolutely loved having the pinball barn accessible when the weather turned bad.
Super close to Cuyahoga valley NP as well.

We had a lovely stay at the Moon House! The campsite was even more equipped than we expected, and the string lights & access to power made life so much more pleasant & even easier than we'd imagined. Katie & fam were super sweet & responsive. Would definitely recommend this site to anyone exploring Cuyahoga - easy access to everything.

Beautiful property and beautiful people! Katie, David, and their child are so kind and welcoming. Peace and quiet, privacy, and super cool uplighting (though we learned my dog is super suspicious of the color blue when the lights changed hahaha). We loved the easy access to the National Park. Thank you for a lovely stay. We wish we could have stayed longer.

This was one of our favorite HipCamps ever - and that is saying a LOT since we’ve had many wonderful HipCamp experiences!
The property is absolutely stunning - a beautiful grove of trees with a very cool outdoor shower and a clean, well maintained outhouse. Along with string lights in the trees that made our arrival late in the evening all the more welcoming.
Katie and her husband were responsive and helpful throughout our stay - we were in the midst of some whirlwind travel so this was so very much appreciated.
The barn on the property is worth booking this HipCamp in an of itself if you are a pinball enthusiast!!!
And the hot tub was an absolute dream after a full day of hiking in Cuyahoga National Park (which was just minutes away).

We loved camping on Katie's site. Very close to Cuyahoga Valley National Park and right across the street from a great outdoor store. The camping area itself was spectacular. Even though it was only a hundred yards from the back of their house, it was very private. The site was even better than the photos on their listing. Katie was very responsive and keen on making sure we were happy campers! We even got to use the hot tub, a welcome relief after a day of hiking.

Despite the rough weather, I greatly enjoyed my stay with Katie, her family, and her two playful pups. The facilities were more than adequate, the hosts were helpful and welcoming, and the atmosphere of the land was fantastic. The hot tub was a game changer after a very chilly night of tent camping. Katie and her family were a wealth of knowledge for local spots and were helpful beyond the usual host. I'd recommend this stay to anyone.

It pains me to leave this review only because I want to keep this camp private and not share how amazing my stay was! Our hosts were wonderful especially the 2 dogs. My friend and I tent camped and over night the outdoor temps dropped, but the next morning we blissfully sat in the swim spa and felt my soul return to my body! Can’t say enough good things about our stay.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the Moon House! There were a dozen little things and favors they did for us that were above and beyond. This was my dad's first hip camp experience and he seemed to love it! If you are looking to explore the national park, this location is really ideal! The pond had a million frogs of various sizes that were a blast to observe! There was loads of space for my dog to explore. There is the illusion of being secluded in the middle of the suburbs! Very rare and special!

Katie and David not only provided a great place to stay, they went well beyond. When our e-bikes ran out of power 5 miles downhill from their camp as we pedaled the Ohio to Erie Trail, David drove his cargo van down to where we were and made 2 trips hauling us and our ebikes back to their place. At 11:00pm. They are true trail angels and it was just a delight to meet this wonderful couple!

This space is awesome for safe camping and if you want to take advantage of the national park just minutes down the road. Everything was in order and better than we expected. Their dogs are friendly and Katie friendlier. Beautiful and welcoming space.

Fabulous experience. Site has platforms for camping which came in handy due to the extreme amounts of rain we had. Katie was so helpful when we got soaked through, which was above and beyond what we were expecting. Site not super private, but that was fine for us! Katie’s family is super accommodating and aware of this, so it really was not a problem. Outdoor shower is a camp shower, so it is very refreshing if the weather is cool. Woods are beautiful, and site perfectly located for the Ledges hike in Cuyahoga national park, which was exactly what we wanted.

We loved our short stay at Moon House! Katie and her husband were extremely accommodating, kind, and generous. They made sure we had everything we might need. The property is gorgeous, with plenty of room to move around and explore. It’s just one site, so you don’t need to worry about a crowd. Their two pups were well behaved and we loved having them come around. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved the Moon House! We were just passing through and stayed for a night, but wanted to stay longer. Katie and her family were all so kind and were amazing hosts. Her dogs got along great with our dog and our kids had so much fun on their beautiful property. The composting toilet was clean, easy to use, and the sink was awesome to have! I would recommend to anyone who wants to have a great time!

We absolutely loved staying at the Moon house. Katie was so friendly and helpful. She got us set up with everything we needed and let us borrow a pop up canopy since it was about to rain. We had a lofted deck for our tent and room for the second one. The outhouse was great and had a rain shower, which was convenient after a long hike. We had a great fire pit, string lights, and a beautiful, quiet piece of land. They were wonderful hosts and we'd love to stay again!

The site was kept up well. Outhouse was clean and the sink and shower came in handy for cleaning up at the end of our day. There are two well behaved dogs that are fun to play with. They don’t get into your food, gentle and well trained. Great lighting up until about 11pm. There was some wood available to burn. We still needed to grab a couple bundles to cook with.
The location is nice due to its proximity to some great trails. Finally the owner was very accommodating to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. Campsite fit 2 comfortably with room to spare for plenty more.
