This site is perfect! Very well kept and private. Definitely need a 4x4 vehicle to drive to site if you don’t plan on hiking to. I had no problems with my Bronco Sport with A/T tires. Owners are very pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back to this site.

This is the second time we have camped on this property. And this spot is, so far, out favorite one! It's secluded enough you think you're really out in the middle of no where!
You've got your own little world in Hideaway Hills

Weekend Trip to Stargazer Glamping Campsite
Pretty easy to find. Not on a main road. Not too far from it. Locked gated entry. Surrounded by trees and a creek. Beautiful property. Lots of wildflowers. I took a nap in the hammock when I arrived and unpacked. More than one seating area. Big fire pit. Huge, Beautifully decorated tent. Pretty much everything you would need. Eating and cooking utensils. Towels. I didnt get to use the pretty outdoor shower it was just too cold. Got down to 48. Site says heated but they didnt have a stove set up yet. Other than hearing the family playing across the creek there are no cons. I had a nice peaceful evening. I very much enjoyed my quiet time here at stargazer. Thank you 😊

Great little spot in rural KY. Quiet, peaceful, and well-kept. Host Lola is kind and communicates clearly. Only a few spaces, so it stays calm and low-traffic. Would absolutely stay again.

The land was pretty and you could tell they put alot of effort into their campsites by how well maintained it was. Something else that stood out was there absolute kindness to my group. I wish there was a feature togive them a tip or something.

Kelli and her husband were incredible. After meeting both for mere minutes I felt like i had been a friend for years. Then friend and family camp is huge beyond belief. The other sites I saw were all very private and more than spacious. They are all in the steep hills of Kentucky though and when they say they recommend four wheel drive, believe them, but you can still enjoy their camps. They were more than happy to haul my gear to camp in their side-by-side when my motorcycle couldn’t make it so don’t let that scare you. This place is worth the adventure!

Had an amazing stay! Kelli is one of the sweetest hosts. My car could not make it up the hill, so she and her husband helped me bring my stuff up in their side by side (and helped me bring it back down for check out). The site itself was very quiet and clean. They had set up dog treats and fresh water for my pup which was really sweet. And the fire was already set up with all the logs, kindle ,etc. Kelli seems super passionate about the sites and I'm excited to see how much they continue to grow!

One part adventure, one part primitive with a sprinkle of bougie. These sites let you really feel like you are out there without being too far off the beaten path. Doug and Kelli are the most hospitable folks you'll find. Small things like stocked firewood, water and treats for your four legged friends (when applicable) are just some of the thoughtful touches you'll find. If you are looking for some solitude without the attitude this is up your alley.

We had the best time at Hideaway Hills! The site itself is spacious and beautifully laid out with plenty of room to spread out, unwind, and truly enjoy nature. The hosts thought of everything: they provided fresh water, a fire starter, and even a lighter, which made getting settled in super easy. The site was much larger than expected (pictures def don’t do it justice!) and we had plenty of room for us to spread out, which is nice when traveling with teenagers.
The privacy tent and camp toilet were thoughtful touches that made the primitive setup feel so much more comfortable. My husband and I really enjoyed our coffee in the morning on the deck while the kids slept in, soaking in the peaceful surroundings before the day got going.
Fishing was absolutely amazing (the catfish are HUGE) and the nearby hiking trails were well marked and full of wildlife. We saw deer just off the trail, and the kids got a kick out of the owls hooting all around us.
Even though we didn’t bring our dogs this time, we definitely will next time! The site is incredibly dog-friendly, with water bowls, treats, and the sweetest resident dogs
It’s rare to find a place that feels this peaceful and secluded, yet so welcoming. Kelli and Doug went so above and beyond, you instantly feel like family. Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve stayed at this campground multiple times, and I have to say—it’s one of the best, if not the best. The hosts go above and beyond to make your stay even better, whether it’s bringing you an extra lighter or helping you up the hill to your campsite. They’ve got you covered! This is my favorite place to camp, and I’ll keep coming back—so should you!

This was my second stay at Turtleback Ridge, and Keegan suggested a different spot—a little more private, scenic, and quiet as the first, and still an easy walk to the brewery. One might not think camping would lead to restful sleep the night before a bike race, but this site delivers. The hosts are incredibly helpful, gracious, and considerate. Oh, and they make some amazing beers that are worth the trip on their own. Even with the rainy weather, it was a peaceful, no-fuss place to settle in. I’ll definitely be back.

What’s not to love about camping just a short walk from an incredible brewery? Turtleback Ridge Farm is a fantastic host for the Kentucky Open Road Race Series, and I had the privilege of camping there the night before a race. Although the weather was dreary and the rain relentless, the property still offered a peaceful, spacious spot to pitch a tent and rest up undisturbed. I didn’t get to fully appreciate the farm’s beauty this time, but I’m already looking forward to a return visit. Highly recommend to anyone in search of a laid-back, convenient campsite in the area!
