Established in 1983 on a 60-acre plot of land right in the Shawnee State Forest. The property is beautiful with flat land, fields, and at the back are the foot hills of the Appalachian Mountains. We put a horse farm on the land in 2000. The horses here are my family and I want to expand and offer more opportunities on the land. That's when I came across Hipcamp! I'm excited to share a piece of my heaven that I'm fortunate enough to call home.

We loved RV camping on Frankie's land.. She was very nice and we loved her place. Sugar, the farm dog, made our trip even better. My dog and Sugar loved each other and I loved her too... Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful farm and wonderful ponds. Very close to our home but we felt like we was 'out of town'. Very nice sites... All of them would have been great. We can't wait for warmer weather so we can come back!

This site was lovely, plenty of room and multiple hammock hanging options. In addition to a picnic table there were two lounge chairs and a patio table with chairs. The swimming hole a very short walk away was great.

Everything about the property is perfect. No noise pollution, no light pollution, serenity at night and a beautiful property to explore during the day. Oh yeah, the best part is the fishing, ponds ar we full of panfish and the bass are huge!

This campsite is perfect for a weekend getaway. The creek is one of the best we have been to, while there is a road that follows it the creek is beautiful! We fished using worms and caught over 20 in one day for 2 people (blue gill, small & large mouth bass). While the “outhouse” needs a little love, it works—we brought our own set up but it would work if you don’t have one. There is some road noise, but that doesn’t bother us.

I can’t even explain how beautiful this place is. The 3 ponds are jumping with Bluegill, Sunfish, Perch and Bass. None stop bites. The spots are large and level. The host (Frankie) was a delight to speak with. The history of the family farm is amazing! We will definitely be back.

It is a primitive campsite, so don't expect state park amenities, but you can expect privacy. You are only a few miles from Shawnee State Park if you want to take advantage of their activities. Tree coverage was mother nature's umbrella during heavy rains and the fishing and swimming were great. Getting to the campsite was a brief adventure, so you absolutely need 4 wheel drive. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Janine and Clinton’s property was beautiful and well kept/maintained. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The campsite was exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable as well and made sure that if we needed anything during our stay to let them know. We hope to return to this campsite in the future!
