Located roughly 20 miles from Beaver Creek State Park, DLR Mustang Ranch is a 17-acre peaceful sanctuary for many wild and previously wild mustangs. The Ranch offers veteran and first responder mustang programs year-round. Please let us know if you are a veteran or first responder for a special rate. Accommodations include a small one-room cabin nestled on a little pond a stone's throw from the main house and veteran program area. The cabin has electricity, a microwave, small refrigerator, tv, futon, heating and cooling; however, it does not have plumbing. Nearby is an outhouse with electricity and a water pump fed from well water. There is a firepit for cooking and picnic tables available. If you prefer a more secluded experience, please book both sites. There is space for an RV in the driveway next to the woods with electric hookup and access to the outhouse, water pump, and firepit. While this is a working ranch with farm animals, our aim is to create a peaceful relaxing environment in order to unwind and enjoy the creation around us. Going in the pastures with horses while unaccompanied by the owners is prohibited; however, it can be arranged for you to meet and interact with the mustangs if interested. Weekend Trip to DLR Mustang Ranch

Our stay was perfect, the site is beautiful and well kept and the host was very welcoming and kind to our two boys. She showed us all their animals and told us their backstories and even let our oldest help feed the chickens. She provided snacks for the horses which we were able to feed whenever we wanted. They come right up to the tent site and the cabin. We felt very safe and it was easy to find when driving in. Each animal we interacted with was good, the turkey will climb on your shoulder and the cats will sit on you by the fire. We are very happy and plan to come back again! If you want a more private stay I would recommend booking both the tent site and the cabin if possible. The out house and fire pit are communal so if you don’t you’ll end up getting cozy with some strangers.

We loved tent camping on Drew's property! It is absolutely beautiful here. The sites are spaced perfectly so that any noise made by other campers isn't too loud. We spent our anniversary weekend here and it was the perfect spot for it!! We definitely loved our little visitors that came by occasionally! The toilet was an unexpected plus! The property was really clean. Fishing could've been better but it was also chilly so that may have been why. 1000% recommend staying here!

We had a great time camping in our rooftop tent at Pleasant Valley Farm. The property and amenities were as described except for one benefit we weren’t expecting: the listing said potable water was available, so we were anticipating a hand pump or spigot. Instead, there was a utility sink in the pavilion with hot and cold running water. It made everything related to meal cleanup and showers that much simpler. The only downside for us was that while the camping area generally was mostly shaded, our specific site was open to the sun from about 9am to around 6pm, and since it was sunny the weekend we visited, it got quite hot. That said, we’d simply prepare differently for that possibility in the future because we enjoyed ourselves so much and we want to visit the area again in the future.

Great Hosts, Great Communication! Stayed for 2 nights and the property is very clean and well kept. Plenty of fish in pond, Large Mouth Bass, Striped Perch, and Blue Gills. No cell service so you can unwind. Had a peddle boat for use, be we didn’t try it. Heard Coyotes in the evening. It was a wonderful weekend. Highly Recommend.

The lake was just right, we had plenty of room to be alone. It was awesome that we could launch our kayaks right from our spot. We had a blast watching all the different birds and seeing the fish jump out of the water.
