McKee Farm is rich in memories and rich in history. It has been in the family for over 150 years and we were told that it was one of stopping points for the underground railroad. The 240 acre farm boasts a hidden cave, wide open fields, breathtaking forest land, and historic and rustic barns.
Nestled at the edge of a wooded creek, Tullihas in the Trees treehouse boasts a beautiful sunset view with rolling hills. Tullihas combines comfort with the thrill of being immersed in nature. Built using recycled electric poles, Tullihas in the Trees has a deck perfect for hammocking, an interior dressed with windows so that guests can feel as if they are living amongst the trees, and two small lofts ideal for a restful night's sleep.
Oxley in the Woods is our newest treehouse cabin. Nestled in the woods with a view of the sunset, the lovely A Frame is filled with lovely woodwork, vintage parquet flooring, and private wooded views. The deck is huge! We've had guests set up a tent on the deck beside the treehouse for fun! Swings, and a slide make the Oxley a fun adventure. The double bed in the loft and the two stacked single beds are comfortable and cozy.

You can sit on the porch and drink your coffee with a view of the barn and pastures, or cozy up in one of the house's four bedrooms and sleep in. The house is fully air conditioned and heated, has all the amenities of home, but takes you back to a simpler time.
Our campsites are all set apart from one another in various locations on the 240 acre farm. Secluded and unique, each campsite has its own charm. We provide guests with a fire ring and a shovel, and some sites have a picnic table.
Hiking trails are marked throughout the land. Guests can hike with views of horses, cows, wildlife, corn fields, large boulders, and rustic barns. The dirt roads provide great places to drive ATVs and four-wheelers. An Amish farm borders McKee Farm. Guests should know there is minimal cell service, however, this can offer a great opportunity to unplug. Tullihas in the Trees provides a perfect remote and rustic getaway for anyone.

Our camp spots are very easy to drive right up to. They are overlooking a small bit of woods. Wake up in the morning to birds chirping. The area has a large clearing for children to play. but the privacy you need to enjoy a nice evening around the campfire. There is a pond for fishing, and a nice deck that is avaliable to use. There is 25 acres here and you are welcome to use it for your enjoyment. We do have fencing to keep our horses in so please we ask to not climb over the fences as they will shock you as they are electric. You will see chickens goats, rabbits, horses, dogs, and cats on our hobby farm. The wildlife you may see include squirrels, deer and racoons fox etc. Located 2 miles from interstate 70 for easy access. NewConcord is just 3 1/2 miles down the road and is the home town of John Glenn you can visit his home place there, or pick up grocerys. Cambridge is the next town away at 8 miles and you can go shopping there, We are also near the Wilds, Blue Rock State Park, and Jesse Owens State park. Hope to see you soon!

There is lots of history of Native Americans, and the first settlers in this area ( there is a great outdoor play based on a true story called Trumpet in the Land about 30 min from our location) On our farm you may still be able to find arrow heads in the creek bottoms! There is lots of wildlife that may wander through your camp site. The air is full of fresh Country smells. Some tame animals that you will see are Lowline cows ( miniature cows), Chickens, Pigs, Miniature Donkeys, Dogs, Cats.
North of us 20 minutes you will find Sugarcreek ( the little Switzerland ) as well as south east of us Coshocton with canoeing and biking trails as well as Roscoe Village.

I absolutely loved staying at McKee farm. It was peaceful and beautiful and exactly what I needed!
The hostess was so kind and flexible, even offing me a choice of alternative sites when there was farm work happening near my original one.
My city dogs especially loved having free rein to run as long and far as they wanted and devour all the new smells.
It was very hot during the day when I visited; however, I would definitely return in cooler weather and the stargazing and sunsets can be beat!

I stayed for 1 night while I was fishing in the area. Nice farm and nice host. The spot for RVs is flat and easy to get to. She showed me where everything is on the property and supplied me with some wood for a fire. I will stay here again if I’m in the area.

We had a great time camping in our rooftop tent at Pleasant Valley Farm. The property and amenities were as described except for one benefit we weren’t expecting: the listing said potable water was available, so we were anticipating a hand pump or spigot. Instead, there was a utility sink in the pavilion with hot and cold running water. It made everything related to meal cleanup and showers that much simpler. The only downside for us was that while the camping area generally was mostly shaded, our specific site was open to the sun from about 9am to around 6pm, and since it was sunny the weekend we visited, it got quite hot. That said, we’d simply prepare differently for that possibility in the future because we enjoyed ourselves so much and we want to visit the area again in the future.

The owners were very nice and interesting to talk to. The site was well maintained and had plenty of privacy, you felt quite far from the other campsite. A porta-potty was provided which was nice. Plenty of animals to watch and be entertained by! If you need perfect quote to sleep I’d recommend taking ear plugs as the animals can be a little loud in the early morning, but that’s expected for camping on a farm!

This was an amazing site!! Our elementary-age kids had this to say: “the mountains [hills] look like something out of a Disney movie” and “so many stars at night, it looks like a planetarium.” About the composting toilet: “not smelly” and “a lot nicer than I thought it was going to be”
Overall: friendly hosts, gorgeous site, quiet and private. 10/10 would recommend and we will hopefully be back.

We had an amazing stay at One Tree Hill, hosted by Carol and the McKee family. The flat area was plenty for our tents and likely could accommodate a couple more easily. It was incredibly secluded and peaceful! By far the quietest spot we've camped in, with no mosquitoes to bother us. The site was spotless, beautiful, and had just the right breeze to keep things comfortable day and night. Very quiet all week, and the wildlife was harmless (just a friendly groundhog chewing on their plants of choice). Even a couple of cloudy days added to the cool vibe without any issues. Carol checked in to make sure we were good, which was a nice touch. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Michelle and PJ'¹s land is just as it is described. Except for a little bit of road noise, mostly during the day, the site was quiet definitely secluded and maybe even haunted LOL
