Also near Indian Lake is the Mad River Mountain ski resort, the Ohio and Zane Caverns, the Piatt Castles, the Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum, and Marmon Valley Farms with horseback riding, all open to the public.  Also just fifteen minutes to two other small towns where you will find big box stores to stock up on your supplies for however long you stay. We know your stay with us will bring you one of the quietest night's sleep you've ever had, with all the sights and smells the country has to offer, and convenience to many nearby activities, all at a price you can't beat!

Explore the ridges of Tennessee. Hike up stream to Marcella falls. Catch bass in the stream to fry for breakfast over an open camp fire. Go for a bike ride or bring your horse. Enjoy local sawmill Saturday note dances. Just relax, the outdoors awaits.

West Wind Stables

We have owned this farm for the past 20 years, it consists of farm land, pasture and some wooded areas. Lots of wildlife around, and few lights to distract from the stars at night! We are close to several small Ohio towns, including Indian Lake. Plenty of eating and shopping options within minutes.

Fire area, bring in your own wood, or we can provide for a small fee!

Most of the views are of surrounding farm ground. 

We have constructed a little outbuilding with a camp shower and camping toilet for campers use.

We usually have around 20 horses at a time. Unfortunately, no riding, most of these horses are here due to health or behavioral issues we are working on.

LRB Farm Hidden Escape

Little Riverbend farm was established in 1996 by Dave and Traci Bitler. The original property was settled sometime in the mid 1800s with the main house built sometime between 1872-1875. Through several generations the property was passed between the original owners family members, then split up and sold into lots. When the Bitlers purchased the property in 1996, the main house was sold with 3 acres and the 2 stall barn. Then in 2015 they were able to purchase an additional 9 acres of adjoining property giving them the additional pasture and woods running along the Auglaize River.Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent in a secluded site nestled between a babbling creek and pasture. Located behind 8 acres of lush horse pasture, a mini working dairy goat farm and few chickens and ducks for fresh breakfast eggs. You'll have access to a fire ring, firewood, and a wrought iron picnic table with chairs and scenic views along the Auglaize river.

Country Outpost RV Site

Looking for a couple acres all to yourself?  Then overnight your self-contained RV at our retired Christmas tree farm.  An active "choose-n-cut" tree farm until 2019, we're letting most of our farm grow wild with some deciduous trees also. There are walking trails throughout the "woods" and around our 3/4 acre fishing pond (catch n release please).  Relax on the bench on the old country store porch or by the fire ring, fish, or stretch your legs and walk the dog.   A pleasant, private, isolated spot in the country to overnight or spend a couple days. 

If you're a small family staying just one night, there is no "extra guest" fee for dependent children.

Includes a 30 amp service hookup.  Gravel parking lot angles slightly up hill.   No tents, no swimming please.  2 nights max per stay.  No bathrooms on site! Operated by Outpost Enterprises, LTD
