Whomever named Mosquito Lake Park obviously didn't understand good PR, but don't let the name discourage you. Nearly 2,500 acres of marshes and woodlands create a beautiful ambiance for your next getaway in Mother Nature. Stroll along one of two trails in the park, where robins and warblers tucked behind purple cresses and beech-maple trees may just move you to tears, or at least to write a haiku. Floating devices of just about every variety are invited to channel the 7,850 lake, and areas like a dog park means Fido is more than welcome on the scene. Michael’s land is gorgeous and it was heaven to have it to ourselves. We especially loved the trails in the wooded area. There’s an awesome fire pit too. Looking forward to another opportunity to tent-camp there!

Beautiful property. Had so much fun fishing and hanging out on the dock. Very private. It was too chilly to swim but we would definitely go back during warmer weather. Michael was very responsive and helpful.

For those that can't get by without a shower this is great. The basement level of the cabin has all the house essentials, but you still get to stay in a tent or rv for everything else associated with camping. Our dog enjoyed being off leash at the property and we loves being the only ones there.

This was my first time using the Hipcamp app. We enjoyed two quiet and peaceful nights! Serene and beautiful. All of the directions were spot on! I really appreciated it as it was only my second time camping with the Class C RV. We will definitely go back!
