I have approximately 2 acres partially wooded located off of a gravel road. Country feel close to the coast! North Topsail Beach is about a 5 minute drive and many other waterways with boat ramps . We are located 20 minutes south of Camp Lejeune and about 30 minutes north of Wilmington. I have a fenced in back yard for kids and or pets. A few playgrounds set up. Firepit available. Charcoal grill available. I will allow limited access to indoor bathroom. Limited access to use of kitchen depending on circumstances.

The Secret Sanctuary Farm is a co/op located on a portion of Prince George Creek that has a double Oxbow or hairpin turns in the creek. This unique feature prevented loggers from logging the property. As a result, there are many huge old-growth trees on the property as well as a variety of fauna and flora.
A truly unique blend of farmland. Including an assortment of friendly animals to interact with. Woodland, wetlands, and a deep spring fed fresh water creek that connects to the Cape Fear River.
This is a working farm. Please do not Open any gates to the animals. The fruits and vegetables on the farm are for the members of the farm. Eggs from our chickens will be provided for you to use for breakfast. If you happen to choose a campsite with a kitchen. There is a coffee pot and all cooking utensils.
There are four permanent 4 shelters on the property. Composting toilets. Showers are still in the works. All of the shelters have their own composting toilets. Small propane heaters are available for each shelter. The first 1gallon bottle off propane is free with your stay. it will last 5-7 hrs. each additional bottles will cast $6.00 per bottle. There is also solar, powered lights, usb charging stations, fans, and air coolers. each Conestego hut has a locking front door to keep your belongings safe
Campfires, hiking, canoeing and kayaking.
Kayaks, canoes and lifejackets are available.
All the Wilmington beaches are within 30 minutes.

We had an amazing experience and will definitely return. Kathrine and her family were super friendly and welcoming. My six-year-old really enjoyed the area and activities.

I really enjoyed my stay! The location felt safe and was conveniently close to supermarkets and restaurants (just a 5-minute drive) and only 15 minutes from the beach. I car camped this time, but the site looks great for tent camping too, which I’m planning to try next time. Kath was very responsive and answered all my questions quickly. Although I didn’t get to meet her in person, I still felt very welcome.

Very favorable location to North Topsail beach, well maintained land and friendly host. Kathrine was very responsive and accommodating and having a potty on site was a nice addition to our camping. Overall highly recommended, just remember to bring a bug spray lol

James & Sola were great hosts. They showed us around the property upon arrival and gave us options for our one night stay. They were very accommodating. My son got to help feed the animals their dinner and really enjoyed himself. We did camp near the chicken coop, so it was no surprise when the roosters began to crow in the morning.

The best hosts, Katherine and Barry ever! The land behind their house is wooded and fishing and naure walks not far away. Also close to stores and laundromat. We hope to return next year.

The hosts were so incredibly kind and gracious! The property was easy to find, quiet, and such a breath of fresh air. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds and nature. We will definitely be back!
