We carved our 43 acre horse farm out of wild swampy land in 2007 and finished the barndeminium in 2008. We started with Hipcamp 6 years ago and enjoy meeting new people. My husband is retired from the Air Force and works full time doing the chores. I retired May 2024 from being a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Womack Army Medical Center. I have a side hobby making homemade jams, pickles and flavored goat cheese spreads. We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the weather chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We have different sites, please read each description or message me before you book a stay. All the sites have an 8pm latest check in unless you've stayed with us before. With the cold snap we have been experiencing the RV water source will freeze up over night. Please message me before booking the RV. We are constantly looking for ways to upgrade or make our farm more fun to visit.

Perfect spot or for me in my camper van. Only one site so it was nice and quiet. Site is flat. Shaded all the time. Has easy access to the electric water and sewer hook ups. Super nice hosts. Very sweet and respectful of your privacy. They greeted me on arrival and directed me into the spot. Host provided outdoor rug, table and chairs. Tiki torch, swing fire pit with wood. Very thoughtful and a nice surprise. Surprised me with warm croissants as well ! Very quiet and peaceful. Regretfully the donkeys were not home 🙁 but I did briefly meet the new puppy. I’ll definitely return

We really enjoyed our stay. There’s only one site with full hook-ups but we were able to book that on the app easily. It’s a nice wooded area and many of the sites have gravel to park on and it’s very clean and well-kept. It rained on our trip but we still managed to enjoy our stay. Cell signal isn’t great that far out, but good enough for emergencies and if you really need internet a hotspot could do the trick or they offer wi-fi add-ons. They were great hosts and I liked that they don’t have a formal check-in process. Just go straight to your site, which are all clearly marked and easy to find. Overall, wonderful trip!

The campsite was beautiful! Hundreds of tall pines throughout the campsite have provided campers with a wonderful cushion of pine needles underfoot. Meticulously clean and cared for sites. My family of seven spent two wonderful days at Double LLC Farm, and it was exactly the kind of weekend I hoped to give my kids. From the moment we arrived, they were completely in love with the animals , petting them, exploring the farm, and enjoying the freedom to run and play in a peaceful, safe space. Even the camper neighbors were friendly, which made the whole environment feel warm and welcoming.
What truly made this stay special were Lisa and her husband. They are some of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve met in North Carolina. Their hospitality, warmth, and professionalism made us feel like more than guests. People like them give you hope in humanity, and small businesses run with this much heart deserve all the support in the world.
My kids were sad when it was time to leave because they loved the animals, the quiet atmosphere, and especially the kindness of Lisa and her husband. The farm is peaceful, fun, and perfect for families who want to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with each other.

We enjoyed a peaceful overnight in a beautiful, rustic setting! We had a 32’ Minnie Winnie and a 16’ trailer, and we were able to pull-thru. Lisa was a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful, and we loved meeting all her furry friends! An added bonus was Lisa’s little store that offers high quality, farm-fresh meats. We highly recommend this experience and look forward to our next visit!

Such a nice quiet campground. Loved the farm animals, visited with them daily and our stay was so peaceful. Michelle is the sweetest and our check in went so smoothly. We will definitely return to our “farm” campground again soon.

We needed a place to stop over night and Double L fit the bill. Lisa, the host, was very responsive, welcoming, and met us at the gate to guide us to our spot. Since we were there only one night, we didn't get a chance to check out the farm attractions. It felt safe and not crowded at all. All the hookups were in good condition and easily accessible. Our only issue (and this was really on us) is that the electric was 50 amp and we have 30 amp. A quick drive to Wally world for an adapter that I had been meaning to buy anyway solved that problem. Quick access to the interstate got us on our way quickly the next morning. We would stay again. Thanks for the southern hospitality, Lisa!
