The campsite was gorgeous and felt very private. The land is beautiful and my hosts were so helpful and gracious. The only piece of information folks might need is that an off-leash dog roamed from a nearby property and sniffed around the campsite on multiple days. Every time I saw the dog in advance, and there were no incidents with my pets as a. I interacted with the dog who was very sweet but I did not feel comfortable introducing my dogs to these dogs just in case. My hosts communicated with me about the issue and did their best to offer solutions. I don't think this would be a showstopper for people without pets at all, and not necessarily even for those with them as long as you are careful.

We arrived 1 hour before sunset. Heather and Chris were attending to the animals, getting them ready for a cold night 30 degrees. It was amazing to see the variety of animals they have. Heather invited us into the coral where we got to meet and pet them. So much fun. They have a beautiful farm. We highly recommend their place!!

Weekend Trip to The Pint Sized Pasture

Tent camping at The Pint Sized Pasture was a unique experience. We liked being able to take our dog off leash. We also really enjoyed the animals on the farm. A staff member brought out a few of the bunnies for us to hold and love on which was special. Walking around and getting close encounters with emu, alpacas and even Moses the Camel and a micro calf was special too. My kids loved the swings, giant sandbox and rolling barrel/track. There was a lot for them to do!

2 nights at The Farm at Long Creek

We LOVED this site! We knew the weekend was going to be rainy but still wanted a quick getaway. The camper was perfect! No taking down a tent in the rain or setting it back up to dry off when we got home. They had everything we needed. All we had to take were sheets, a blanket and our pillows. The site was secluded. We could hear owls, crickets and frogs. The fire pit with a cooking grate was all we needed. There were extra chairs, a tiki torch with bug repellent, a table and a toilet. The beds were SUPER comfy and there was plenty of room for us and our kids. The creek was crystal clear and the boys loved catching crawdads and looking for fish. When it rained, we played cards under the shelter. Salem was responsive and delivered firewood to our site and had everything ready and waiting for us. We will definitely be back! So glad we found this place and it was available for our last minute trip. This was so much easier on us than our usual camping trips. It really is the best of both worlds!

Such a gorgeous spot to camp for the night! I was passing through and needed a spot to break up my trip and this was beautiful! The vineyards were full of grapes which was so cool to see and my pups had a wonderful time exploring. The vineyard was open to the public during certain hours which Michael did warn me about, so it wasn’t quite as private as I was hoping for but still was exactly what we needed for the night!

Loved this place!! Beautiful farm. HUGE, open pasture to camp in. There were 5-6 RVs using the RV hookups, but plenty of land to go wherever I wanted with my rooftop tent. Private bathroom w/ shower (hot water!!) in the barn was so, so appreciated. Very, very accommodating owners. The best part was that I didn't have to meet anyone, or mingle among other campers. I'm a travelling medical professional in town to work for 2 days this week and this was the first time I tried using my rooftop tent instead of spending another night in another nasty hotel room. I will never do another hotel/motel again. Oh, this isn't like a weird, odd, rickety old farm. This is the most gorgeous and pristine farm I have ever seen. Great job, Heather and Chris.
