My farm had been untouched for years and only used as hay farming. It is rolling hills known by the locals as "Butterfly Hill" Which the farm is home to many species of butterflies in the summer. I know the area was inhabited by native Americans many decades ago. I have found a few broken arrow heads over the years. The farm is beautiful and quiet. I have a beautiful hiking trail around the property for you to take your fur babies on. The cabin is right on a beautiful stream too. There are several state parks nearby and river tubing within 10 -30 minutes. Hot showers and potable water just a few feet away.

This place has become one of my favorite places to camp. Everything about this place was amazing. Wendy messaged us asking if we needed anything while we were there and responded back very quickly after we found out we needed more wood. 10/10

I stayed at The Love Shack this weekend and had a wonderful experience. Wendy was a wonderful host—thoughtful, welcoming, and clearly dedicated to creating a beautiful space for her guests. She even cleared the leaves off the trail before I arrived, which made for such a lovely walk through the woods. I spotted a deer along the way which was nice.
The A-frame shelter was cozy and warm. I enjoyed the most relaxing nap in the hammock. I highly recommend!

We had a great time at the love shack! It was perfectly cozy, and Wendy has done such a wonderful job creating an accommodative experience that really feels unique. The shack itself was more spacious than I expected, and the setting was beautiful, were very grateful that Wendy would share her beautiful land with the public! Even though it rained we were able to stay warm and dry. It was a really great place to stay, and I hope we get another chance to visit.

We loved our stay at the Loveshack and if you’re thinking of booking this spot, DO IT! The property is stunning, with trails steps away from the Shack and a babbling brook. The bed slept wonderfully and even with 42° temperature nightly lows, we were comfortable with an extra blanket from home. Wendy is a wonderful host who is attentive and respectful. We also brought our beagle, who had a blast playing in the stream and exploring the property with us. Wendy also provided some boardgames and some basic cookware for guests to use as well, which came in handy when we realized our camp stove was broken! We couldn’t have asked for more relaxing, magical, and nature filled weekend. We genuinely cannot wait to come back!

My third stay at the love shack and it was as great as ever! You will have everything you need and more there. Wendy is such a thoughtful host and takes great care of the property. It's a really lovely place to be!
Wendy is actually an incredibly skilled massage therapist and was able to fit me in for a session. I highly recommend booking with her if you can!! She worked wonders on me.

We loved staying here for our anniversary. Wendy was an amazing host, and we enjoyed staying at the cabin and exploring the farm trails with our 2 pups. A whole family of deer visited the field next to us each evening.

This place truly is a gem. The whole site is very well maintained, the access to a shower is amazing, the serenity of being next to a stream and the little scavenger hunts and decorations provide a fun route around the site. Couldn’t have found a more magical place. Can’t wait to visit again!

This place is so beautiful! The scavenger hunt was adorable and so much fun. And the little pool in the creek was so cold and relaxing on a hot summer day! Waking up every morning and opening the side of the cabin and listening to the sounds of nature was so calm and peaceful. It was the perfect first vacation with my fiance and we will definitely be coming back! Thank you Wendy for such a magical experience!

My dog and I had the absolute best weekend at the “Love Shack” in Mystic Meadow. Wendy has created a woodland oasis with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is easy to find, but feels a thousand miles away from the daily grind.
The cabin is perfect, thedeck was outfitted with chairs for relaxing, a swing near the creek, and the woody trails were full of fun treasures. And did I mention the fire pit? We enjoyed visiting the fluffy butts and the goats along the trail, listening to the creek as it bubbled along and watching fireflies from the deck and morning visits with deer.
Wendy suggested a couple of places to visit locally, which had great trails and shopping options. We even visited a local drive in on Saturday night. There are lots of options near by for all kinds of entertainment.
In fact I’m checking my calendar for another trip in the fall. I highly recommend booking a trip to mystic Meadows, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Wendy for a great weekend and being a terrific host. We really didn’t want to leave! .

Wendy was a great host! Every little detail added up to a wonderful stay! Cute, comfortable, and dry (it rained a couple of evenings during our stay) A-frame provided privacy. The shower house was awesome and she even has walking trails! Come to the Mystic Meadow Love Shack, sit in the rocking chairs, and listen to the riffle of the minnow-filled brook and RELAX!

Our stay was great. The love shake was a great size four two and two dogs. She has very helpful amenities throughout the camp spot. The dogs loved the creak and the trail. The trail was about a 15 minute walk, a must do. She was very responsive and accomidating. The outhouse looks intimidating on the pictures but it was very nice. Clean and no odor at all. The showers were great, clean and plenty of hot water.

Weekend Trip to Mystic Meadow Farm Glamping.
We loved our weekend at the Mystic Meadow love shack! This was our first experience with HipCamp and it did not disappoint. The site was so peaceful and cute and had so many fun and intentional details! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom, showers and cabin were all very clean and well appointed. We had total privacy but Wendy checked in periodically to make sure that all was well. The stream sounds were wonderfully peaceful and sitting on the swing by the stream, relaxing in the hammock and enjoying our coffee by the fire in the mornings were highlights. A truly wonderful place for a relaxing adventure. I hope that we can return soon!

This was such an amazing place and space! The land is absolutely stunning, the "Love Shack" was clean, comfortable and the way the roof opened up to the porch was epic. She left little snacks and plenty of resources to discover nearby, even though, I didn't want to leave this haven! The outhouse was surprisingly more pleasant than regular campground bathrooms. Mystic Meadows is truly a magical place to unplug and recharge. There are hiking trails and some games and a hammock. Wendy is an incredible host and I will be back many more times. Best birthday gift I ever gave myself! Thank you!

Very private. Babbling creek all night. Wonderful host that will engage or leave you be. Great spot for deep connection. Shower house close and convenient. It's the perfect spot of getting away and reconnecting all at once . 20 out of 10.
