Very private and peaceful. Deerfield spot is huge and pretty level. Compact toilet was not located so plan on bringing your own potty. Still would 100% recommend and would stay again.

Great place for a one night stop. We have a Flagstaff TT, 25 feet overall, and stayed at site 1. The site is beautiful and peaceful. We wish we got there earlier to enjoy all the amenities. Just know we were a bit large to fit over the narrow bridge and gate accessing the site. Doable, you just have to navigate off the gravel drive to make the turns. It is also hilly and we used 4WD. The site isn't level as it flows to creek but we managed to find a level spot that worked without having to level trailer or disconnect.

Tent camping with Wayne was a breeze. Easy check-in, awesome gentleman and good location to town. Wayne checked on us to make sure we were all good, site was in amazing condition and the surrounding area was beautiful as well. Perfect weekend getaway and a great host!

Mimi’s Holler was a great spot for our group tent camping trip! We had four tents, six people, and one dog, and Mimi was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. The site had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. We spent the weekend playing disc golf, visiting the Pilot Mountain car show, and checking out the local farmers market—all just a short drive away. One of our favorite parts was hanging out on the side deck in the evenings—the fireplace and soft lighting made it such a cozy and relaxing spot to unwind.
I always try to give an honest review, and the only minor downside was that we could hear some traffic from Highway 70 starting around 6:30 AM. Other than that, everything was perfect. We’d definitely stay here again!

John met us at the farm and was very informative, told us the history of his farm and what all him and his wife do for the community. He gave me and my wife a tour of his farm and let us feed the animals. The site was very level and had a firepit. I highly recommend staying here and will most likely return in the future.

We can’t say enough about the hospitality that John provided on our stay this weekend.
Our Boy Scout troop needed an out-of-the-way place to camp while we explored and hiked Pilot Mtn State Park. It was perfect.
John went out of his way to make our weekend stay as good as possible.
I would highly recommend Papa’s Farm to a small or larger group looking for a quiet place to kick off your boots while enjoying the beautiful countryside.

Super quiet and super close to 77. I communicate that we would be coming in later and Carolyn was up and welcoming my pup and I at 9pm. The pit toilet is nothing fancy but gets the job done. Note that by the tree line is pretty muddy after a big rain but she had plenty of dry spots to park🙂 if you are passing through like I was there is a sheetz at the exit for gas and breakfast!

This property is a great spot to relax and enjoy the view of Pilot Mountain. John is an excellent host, very welcoming and communicative. When we walked down to the farm area to pick up the eggs we added onto our stay, he showed us around the farm and introduced us to the animals. There’s also a really nice trail to a creek side swing. We were really impressed and hope to get back again!

Wow, what a terrific spot and host. John is super friendly and helpful. The site is large, clean, flat, and shaded. I stayed 3 nights with my Daughter, Son In Law and 3 grandsons. They lived it as well. The boys lived meeting the farm animals and feeding them. Very quiet and peaceful. I will definitely stay again and highly recommend to all.
