Welcome! This primitive Tent/RV site offers: 2-Private Acres + FREE Firewood + 8-foot Industrial Picnic Table + Little Tikes Picnic Table + Commercial-Grade Port-A-Potty + Large Garbage Can + 5-Gallon Bucket + Adirondack/Sitting Chairs + Pet Friendly! 

Solo travelers, families, and romantic getaway travelers: This is a very private and safe place to camp! Because we only have 1 site, you will be alone in the space the entire time. My family lives on the premises so we are here in case of an emergency.

My daughter and I own this 35 acre secluded piece of heaven just minutes from Winston-Salem, Hanging Rock State Park, and other attractions. We are pet friendly (if your pet does not play well with our dog or horses, please leave them on a leash or at home). Our Shire horses are endangered and very BIG! We hope you have time to say hello to the horses during your visit.

The Uwharrie Hideout

Reopening January 1, 2024 for guests. We appreciate your patience while making improvements and plan to reopen as soon as the hunting season ends.  Enjoy some outdoors time while staying close. Shadow Hill Farm

Well, my land is large with a beautiful stream flowing the property line. Tall hard woods mixed with pines and a huge pasture for looking at stars at night. There is a known Indian grave yard located here and the spirits show up in photos.Learn more about this land:If you want to get away  and be near the Uharrie mountains and Badin Lake and Lake Tillery we are located 30 min from the Uharrie Mountains and access to the lakes. Fishing, boating, horse riding, hiking some of NC best kept secrets.  Enjoy farm life on a real working farm or stay hidden in a remote area of the farm.  Minutes away from the golfing capitol of the south....Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen NC  134 acres with a rambling creek running thru the property.  Tall pines and hardwoods with wild flowering spring bushes.  deer and wild turkeys love  this place.  Bathrooms and shower . Pack your trash out

Sparkroot Farm

Sparkroot is a gathering place with permaculture gardens and growing food forest orchard.

We invite campers to enjoy our land, tiny cabin and funky, post-apocaMythic Airstream. We are located atop a hill surrounded by a woodland grove of ancient oaks.  You are welcome to explore and make yourselves at home amongst the forest and gardens, as you listen to the owls hoot to each other at night under the stars.

This is our story , well I have this land its 6.43 acres . This is how it all started there was a hippie fest going on in town and it was posted on social media . Someone posted they were looking for a place to camp but they didnt have camping at the fairgrounds where the event was . So I messaged this person and said I have a big yard maybe they could camp here but I have no facilities water toilet etc. We spoke and the gentleman said he would like to do that him and his group . I have never done anything like this  they paid me to stay ,but before I knew it I had 32 people coming here 2 pop up campers a 30 ft pull behind and 12 tents WOW . So of course I had to get the porta toilet thats how it ended up down there . The weather was threatening us so some people cancelled but in all we ended up with 16 people here it was a fun time for all . Thats when I decided to join hipcamp now we are on our hipcamp journey . My fiance Henry built a shelter and  a rain barrel water isnt drinkable , as time goes on we will be cleaning out more of the land for more camp sites . Hope y'all come visit . UPDATES !!! We have added Glamping to the site a 30 ft 2021 Coleman Camper , This will be a separate listing  but its here !!!
