Camp Earth Connection

Camp Earth Connection is located in the town of Dryden, NY just 12 miles from Ithaca, NY.  Camp Earth Connection offers a relaxing stay with a variety of camping options including Log Cabins, Rustic Cabins and Tent-Sites. Camp Earth Connection is an alcohol and drug free facility, offering guests the opportunity to connect with nature and each other in a serene and beautiful natural setting. The Hammond Hill trail system, which offers hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing connects to the 950 mileFinger Lakes Trail system.  Wildlife is abundant in the area. It is common to hear the Coyotes and Owls throughout the day.  In addition,Mink, Fishers, Bald Eagles, Turkey Buzzards, Porcupines, Raccoons, Skunks, Wild Turkeys, Ravens, Grouse, Red and Grey Fox and an occasional Black Bear are some of the inhabitants of the local forest.

Guests can choose to have some peaceful alone time or be more engaged in our small community during scheduled community campfires, campfire pancake breakfasts or workshops.  Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, Camp Earth Connection offers a Community Saturday Morning Campfire Pancake Breakfast.

Rashid Fields Farm

This is a family farm on 48 acres, with access to hiking the snow mobile trails that run over a couple of hundred miles. We have horses and alpacas to pet and visit, a few sheep and chickens, and a couple of Scottish Highland Cows. Close drive to swimming, hiking, shopping and museums. Away from the city, cozy and country. Come out and visit! Learn more about this land:This is a family farm on 48 acres, with access to hiking the snow mobile trails that run over a couple of hundred miles. We have horses, sheep and cows to pet and visit, a few ducks and chickens, and a rabbits. Parking is at the house, walk in to campsite. If you need help, we will gladly load up the tractor and escort you to the sites.Swimming at a state park/lake is a 5 mile drive, and there are other hiking trails within about a 20 minute drive. You can pitch a tent of your own, or borrow one of ours here by the house, or further out by the creek. Each campsite has a fire pit for your use.Restroom is available just inside the house if needed, and potable water is available via pump or hose outside the house or at the barn. We have a couple of dogs on sight, and we like to visit with folks - let us know if you want to socialize or not and we'll respect that. Your dogs are welcome, but please keep them leashed. Chickens like to run away, and dogs like to chase them. If you are traveling with horses, please contact us! We can provide turn out or possible stalls for you, if your shots are current (proof required). *fees apply depending on requirements.

Awe Inspiring Views Cabin & Tenting

Home of Alambria Springs Farm, HeartStone Artisan Bakery and Hope Springs Eternal Horse Sanctuary.

 From Dairy farm, to organic produce farm, to artisan bakery, to horse sanctuary as the land transitions to it's natural state of being. Awe inspiring views from our off grid sleeping cabin or tent site both located along the ridge. Nature abounds with many birds, butterflies, bees, deer, etc. Incredible sunsets, star gazing, crickets, and fireflies! We look forward to sharing this sacred spot on earth with you! Stay in our off grid cabin for a bit more luxury or pack your camping gear and hit the ridge with your tent! We look forward to seeing you soon!

The covered porch, chairs, firepit and picnic table are all just a few steps away from the cabin. 

Down the ridge from the cabin is another set up ready for guests to use. Including a picnic table, chairs and fire pit. With even better views of the valley below.

The fire pit comes with chairs, drink holders, a grill and wind cover. With firewood available for purchase.

There are kayaks available to use on  the pond for guests to take a spin. 

Plenty of ways to relax inside, with beds, chairs, tables and a small heater for the colder nights.

 note that camping inside the cabin is not permitted only on the decks the lower deck and the upper deck this reason is for shelter From the elements.... the Outhouse on the deck is not for public use except for an extreme emergencies I'm try to have yourself some kind of portable toilet or dig a hole.... a porta potty is available at no extra cost but if you feel it you have to empty it and maintain its cleanliness
