Named during the pandemic, "Camp COVID Site 19" was born out of our desire to camp, as we weren't able to go camping anywhere! This camp is the back half of our property, located in the village of Tannersville. Camp is divided from our personal yard by a fence. The camp is also completely fenced in once the driveway gates are closed, allowing your pets to safely be off leash if you wish! A long stone driveway leads to camp, with a flat spot to park your skoolie, motorhome, or vehicle. There is a creek running along the entire back side of our property, outside of the fenced in area, which you can access by walking a few feet though the gates under the Camp COVID sign. We have a new bon fire pit in the center of camp, and fires are allowed as long as there is no burn ban in effect. Firewood is on site, and can be added on for $10 per night. We have 2 water hook ups and one 15 amp electric hook up on site, we just ask that you do not run an A/C unit as it will trip our main breaker. There is a dump station at North South Lake State Park and Campground only minutes away in Haines Falls. Instructions and rules are posted in the bath house which has an on demand hot water shower and a composting toilet. There is a garbage can for your convienece which is located in the shed which must be kept closed to avoid black bears visiting! There is a covered dried in area to the left of the shed. We have a half barrel charcoal grill with a flat top griddle as well as several grill grates. One of the grill grates also fits over the fire pit if you prefer fire cooking! There is an RV on site that will not be occupied during your stay, please do not enter, thank you! Come and stay and say hi!

There is a farmstand that opens seasonally. The property is about 6 acres of flat land with several great spots to camp. Across the road is our private forest about 40 acres. Great for hiking and Moutainbiking Learn more about this land: We are conveniently located next to the NY Thruway exit 19 & 209 Highway yet super secluded and in nature’s paradise adjacent to the Sawkill River and across a large private Forrest. There is some road noise from Sawkill road & the Thruway dependent on the spot you choose to set up. If your’e tenting you can be in the woods way up in the forest, but most campers prefer our spot near the Sawkill River. I have fire pits, common outdoor furniture & a gasBBQ’s that can be used. There is chickens, bees & goats & 2 guardian life stocks dogs that live with the goats. I also have a small Terrier & a farm cat.  A lot of outdoor activity with bird watching, bunnies, deer & the groundhogs say good night. It’s rural yet only 10 minutes to Kingston uptown and about 20 minutes to Woodstock. About 1 hr from Hunter & Windham Mountain resorts and 45 minutes to Belleayre Ski. We also have a wood fired oven and offer pizza making classes as well as catered meals.

This is the best deal in town. It was equally as comfortable as a hotel but you’re out in a beautiful landscape. There are privacy screens, so while the owner’s home is in sight, it still feels like you have your own space. George was really welcoming and we chatted about their lovely garden. Next time, we’d like to stay a bit longer, as this was just an overnight before the Fall Foliage Half Marathon. But nevertheless we woke up feeling rested for the run and really enjoyed our brief stay.

We stayed for one night and didn't spend much time at the site since we were visiting our son in college nearby. But it was just what we needed! A quiet, wooded spot with a covered picnic table AND dry lean-to just the right size for our tent (made for very comfortable sleeping). George and his wife were very friendly and gave us directions to the nearby farmer's market. It's a wonderful area to visit and this campsite was a very pleasant alternative to staying in a hotel.

My family (pack) and I had such a wonderful time at Camp Covid Sit 19! Angie was an amazing host and this site felt very special. There's a lot of love that went into the entire set up and being able to let our pups all off leash was wonderful! We have two big boys and a corgi pup, and it was very safe~ there were no openings in the fencing! So big and little pups are all good here ^^ The site felt private and like a slice of serenity~ We definitely aim to come back to this site, hopefully for longer!!!

Great site for a laid back weekend! Host was so kind and helpful, directions were clear, site was immaculate and includes a covered picnic table/benches, fire pit with chairs, outhouse and lean-to where games, potable water and more chairs are located. My 3P tent fit in the lean-to which I opted to set up in due to the sudden severe weather and not a drop of rain made its way inside. Plenty of places to set tents up if you'd rather sleep outside. Traffic noise was minimal and privacy screens are set up around the site. Rhinebeck is close by for trails or dining out. I was mostly here to get some quiet time with a stack of books while recovering from a back injury, but there's plenty to do on and off site as well. I'll definitely be back.

The campsite was absolutely wonderful. The facilities were thoughtfully designed, with everything you could possibly need: comfortable chairs, a fire pit, a fully equipped cooking station with a gas grill (fuel provided), and even an on-demand hot shower. All we had to do was set up our tent and relax. The location is tucked within a residential area, which makes it very quiet in the evenings and far more private than staying at a busy public campground. It’s an ideal home base if you’re looking to explore the surrounding area. That said, if your goal is complete seclusion and a truly remote experience, this might not be the perfect fit. Overall, I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone visiting the area who wants a convenient, comfortable, and peaceful place to stay.

This site is located only a short drive off of Route 84 so perfect for a stay over when on a road trip. The site is level and behind a house in the shade. The hosts were very nice and met me upon arrival to show me the site and help set up. They provided me a WiFi password and even had a packet of menus of local restaurants. Very thoughtful people. I would recommend this camp if you needed a place to stop for a night while traveling Route 84.

This place was far above expectations. The site is in town but fairly private, abuts a nice stream and is flat. What really stands out are the amenities and facilities. Power and water are very handy if you've been boondocking. More importantly is the amazing bath house and covered cooking area. Angie has a great eye for detail and most definitely has artistic talents. Everywhere you look, there is something fun to check out and all things function just right and are well thought out. We didn't have a fire but there is a great fire pit, nice chairs, and ample nice wood for burning available. We didn't meet Angie, but we did meet her husband who is very nice and a pleasure to chat with. Lots of good hiking and things to see in the area. as well.

Their site is in the little town of Tannersville which is a great home-base for day trips to a TON of hiking trails and other fun Catskills towns. We felt so welcomed at Jo’s. A friendly greeting and a genuine desire to make sure we were comfortable. We were there for just a quick overnight. We wish we had time to walk the pups at the nearby park on the river. Sufficient room to maneuver a 20’ trailer and F150. Good level site.

Alexander’s campsite is nestled in a back lot of his farm/cidery/pizza oven farm. This man seems to do it all. He raises free range chickens, goats, and even has a few friendly guard dogs keeping a watchful eye on the flock. Located through a series of mowed paths in the back of his property - you can see the house but even so we never felt like we were in anyone’s way. We had a fire pit, a few tables, and were about 100’ and a winding path away from the river. The fireflies and thick tree canopy kept the site dark and fun at night. Alexander was a responsive host always answering questions. He let us fill water from the spigot by his home. He even gave us some farm fresh eggs in the morning. A sweet guy! Only draw back - if you’re looking to feel like you’re out in the middle of nowhere this isn’t the spot. You can hear the highway all night long.

We love having chill rock climbers, hikers and families on our farm/wedding venue.  It's not a campground!  It's just a super cool place to have some privacy and a camp fire and be really close to the best hiking and climbing, and swimming holes and farmers markets and road biking around.Horse farm / Wedding venue super close to Gunx, Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk Preserve, Lipman Park (Mt biking) Great for rock climbers, families, hikers, horse folks.Sites are private with fire pits. In our barn (now home to Gardiner Brewing Company) he had gravity fed water troughs for his cattle. Since then we have slowly switched from animals to tree fruit. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping. Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. You are also welcome to come down to the farm market and purchase bags to pick your own apples in season.

Always working on improvements! My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

Easy entry off a quiet well maintained country road in the town of Conesville, NY. Sitting on 5 acres you will notice the beautiful views of the Catskill Mountains. Feel free to hike the entire property. Hike down the gorge approximately 80ft to the seasonal mountain fed creek. You will find massive boulders, and various artifacts as this property was once a mining operation dating back to the early 1920s. Be mindful of partially fallen trees on the hillside along the south end. It’s a steep hike down so get your hiking poles and good boots. The north end is an easier hike. Wahl Dairy Farm has been a family run and owned small farm since 1921 when August Wahl moved their family to Callicoon. August was a butcher by trade, and the farm started as a family homestead, raising their own chickens and cows with the help of a few horses and of course August's father who was very handy and could make axe handles and wooden wheel spokes. The Wahl homestead became Wahl Dairy Farm in the 1940s when August started selling milk, two or four cans at a time, to the creamery. August's son, Vernon, took over the business and built it up; at one point about 100 cows were being milked! Vernon's son Ross took over the farm in 1995 and diversified it. Ross regularly raises chickens and pigs and grows pumpkins, in addition to the 40 or so milking cows currently on the farm (there are also calves and heifers). The farm is about 200 acres in total, including 15 acres of woods, 15 acres of "hunting" land (deer and rabbits roam free in the scrub), and close to 150 acres in production with pasture and hay. We never feed corn silage! We believe the corn gives the milk a more sour taste (you are what you eat!). We're proud that we've always been in grassland and committed to raising a mostly grass fed dairy herd, a quality not found in many diary farms today. We're excited to share this place with you! In addition there is excellent cell phone service on the farm! Great for digital nomads and everyone who needs to stay connected. The site is the second highest point in Sullivan County. Named during the pandemic, "Camp COVID Site 19" was born out of our desire to camp, as we weren't able to go camping anywhere! This camp is the back half of our property, located in the village of Tannersville. Camp is divided from our personal yard by a fence. The camp is also completely fenced in once the driveway gates are closed, allowing your pets to safely be off leash if you wish! A long stone driveway leads to camp, with a flat spot to park your skoolie, motorhome, or vehicle. There is a creek running along the entire back side of our property, outside of the fenced in area, which you can access by walking a few feet though the gates under the Camp COVID sign. We have a new bon fire pit in the center of camp, and fires are allowed as long as there is no burn ban in effect. Firewood is on site, and can be added on for $10 per night. We have 2 water hook ups and one 15 amp electric hook up on site, we just ask that you do not run an A/C unit as it will trip our main breaker. There is a dump station at North South Lake State Park and Campground only minutes away in Haines Falls. Instructions and rules are posted in the bath house which has an on demand hot water shower and a composting toilet. There is a garbage can for your convienece which is located in the shed which must be kept closed to avoid black bears visiting! There is a covered dried in area to the left of the shed. We have a half barrel charcoal grill with a flat top griddle as well as several grill grates. One of the grill grates also fits over the fire pit if you prefer fire cooking! There is an RV on site that will not be occupied during your stay, please do not enter, thank you! Come and stay and say hi!

There is some road noise from Sawkill road & the Thruway dependent on the spot you choose to set up. If your’e tenting you can be in the woods way up in the forest, but most campers prefer our spot near the Sawkill River. I have fire pits, common outdoor furniture & a gasBBQ’s that can be used. There is chickens, bees & goats & 2 guardian life stocks dogs that live with the goats. I also have a small Terrier & a farm cat.  A lot of outdoor activity with bird watching, bunnies, deer & the groundhogs say good night. It’s rural yet only 10 minutes to Kingston uptown and about 20 minutes to Woodstock. About 1 hr from Hunter & Windham Mountain resorts and 45 minutes to Belleayre Ski. We also have a wood fired oven and offer pizza making classes as well as catered meals.

Learn more about this land: A very spacious semi-wooded site that is in the shape of a triangle. The dimensions are approximately 100' by 100' by 50'. Perfect for the large group camp out or the family site. The Lean-to is approximately 10'x9', large enough for a small tent or keep the picnic table in there for bad weather.
