The feeling of peace is about 1 mile off the road. Pulling into Apple Cove you'll see we've cleared areas for tents and small van style RVs. There is an individual fire pit for each camper, a small rock bottom creek runs through the 15 acres for a nice, relaxing view of the woods. There is approximately 10 miles of professionally groomed, maintained trails for guests to share for recreational purposes. The trails are marked and 10-15' wide. They range in difficulty. The southern section of the property ascends abruptly from 2050'-2250'. The northern range is less abrupt.
It has been my passion & a genuine labor of love to keep this environment as pristine as possible. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide a place for man to be nurtured, where nature & wildlife will thrive, always striving to keep the environment as pristine & serene as possible. Access to hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing fishing, hunting, geocaching, wildlife viewing, ATV and snowmobile trails are all within a short drive. A handful of golfing options are available within a 30-minute radius or less.
The bridge on the property crosses over the creek and provides access to the area timber lands and Allegheny National Forest. There is a cooperative agreement between the timber lands and ANF which allows for non-motorized, public use. Off trail-hiking is plentiful all around the cabin.
Chapman State Park is about a 10 minute drive.
Kinzua Dam; Jake's Rocks are 20-25 minute drive.

"The Nest" presents a secluded cabin nestled along Tionesta Creek, situated in the heart of Allegheny National Forest. Offering complete privacy and serenity, this retreat boasts no visible neighbors, allowing guests to unwind amidst the tranquil sounds of nature and the babbling creek. With breathtaking views from every angle, visitors can anticipate sightings of eagles, blue heron, black bear, and other wildlife while savoring morning coffee on the deck. Additionally, guests have access to two kayaks to enhance their stay. The cabin comfortably accommodates five guests and features a full bathroom equipped with an off-grid water system, ensuring continuous access to hot water.
Parking for The Nest is along the widened shoulder of Route 666.
From the parking spot, an approximately 100 ft lightly sloped dirt foot path with stairs leads to the cabin. Nominal amount of firewood is provided for every guest.

Tranquility Trails is a Eco retreat center located on a private game preserve. It was established on 9-16-2013 in loving memory of my father, Frank Bileti.
The center is nestled within 138 acres of the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in the Southern tier of Western New York. This is the ideal place for folks who enjoy secluded, quiet, private places to unwind, relax and commune with the elements of nature. Activities include: hiking, biking, snow shoeing, bird watching, wildlife observation, meditation, stargazing etc. We currently offer 2 cabins, a cottage, 3 tent sites (1 is fully furnished). The cabins, cottage, tent sites & trails are very private and secluded. Each site has its own private entrance. There is approximately 10 miles of professionally groomed, maintained trails for guests to share for recreational purposes. The trails are marked and 10-15' wide. They range in difficulty. The southern section of the property ascends abruptly from 2050'-2250'. The northern range is less abrupt.
It has been my passion & a genuine labor of love to keep this environment as pristine as possible. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide a place for man to be nurtured, where nature & wildlife will thrive, always striving to keep the environment as pristine & serene as possible. Neighborhood description
Rustic Run is a secluded cabin located on private land surrounded by timber lands and the Allegheny National Forest.
Access to hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing fishing, hunting, geocaching, wildlife viewing, ATV and snowmobile trails are all within a short drive. A handful of golfing options are available within a 30-minute radius or less.
The bridge on the property crosses over the creek and provides access to the area timber lands and Allegheny National Forest. There is a cooperative agreement between the timber lands and ANF which allows for non-motorized, public use. Off trail-hiking is plentiful all around the cabin.
Chapman State Park is about a 10 minute drive.
Kinzua Dam; Jake's Rocks are 20-25 minute drive.

Getting around
Winter Months Require 4WD vehicles to access cabin. Although, the road is well maintained Pennsylvania winters can create unexpected conditions. Road and driveway are icy during winter and early spring.

You are tucked away against a large creek if you like water activities. Nearby hiking trails. Check out the butcher shop in Sheffield if you like to grill!

An absolute gem of a site. The cabin itself had everything we needed. Was already warmed up for us upon arrival on a snowy evening and held heat well throughout our weekend. Ben gave us a great hiking recommendation that we took advantage of and it was just what we were looking for. Enjoyed our evenings by the campfire and morning coffee on the steps by the river. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at Stergelandia. We stayed in the Gumdrop cabin which was decorated beautifully and peacefully with colorful tapestries and pillows. Despite it being chilly out we were able to sleep comfortably with extra blankets and some hand warmers. It rained one morning and watching/hearing it fall on the plexiglass wall was amazingly beautiful. We enjoyed the observation deck and took a short hike. We made a cozy fire and used the cooking gear provided to make a nice dinner. We cannot wait for our film to be developed as every part of this trip was stunning. We will definitely be back, Jennifer was a great host and has made a beautiful nature oasis on her land.

HIGHLY recommend! Great location, not far from civilization but far enough away to get a BREAK! The Nest is a cute/comfy little cabin with everything you need! Even a crockpot which was great to have dinner cooking while we were out fishing! My favorite part of the location was there is no service or WiFi, you truly get to unplug and get away from the devices that take over our lives on a daily basis. Plenty of movies to wind down the night with. Ben and Ginny are great hosts, Ginny walked us through and told us everything we needed to know. The bedroom has air which was very helpful on the hot nights and kept the entire cabin cool. We were warned about a pesky little bird but didn’t have any issues nor did we have many concerns because we did put ourselves in the middle of the forest with the expectation we might encounter some animal friends!! We will 100% be back to the Nest! Hopefully a couple different times in the next year!

Ben had a little book of the history of the property and recommendations for the area. I ventured to Kinzua Bridge State Park and Hector Falls, but nights by the fire and creekside were perfect too. Our family had a fantastic stay at Creekside on camp road. The cabin so nice and very very clean. The site had more than enough seating for our large family and areas for us to set up tents. The outhouse was well maintained well lit at night. The creek was just perfect for our 7 year old to play in the water and even watch some deer go by. Leah was incredibly attentive and answered any questions we had right away. We will definitely be back.

This was our second time staying at Ben's and it was perfect. The river was low so we were able to walk and cross without issue. Water was perfect temp to cool down and just relax. We found the stash of seasoned kindling this time so it was much easier to start a fire with the mountain of firewood provided. Spent our days exploring and popped in one of the many DVDs before bed. Location is great. Can't wait to go back.
