There are snowmobile trail heads 5 miles from our location. Be in the country yet just 5 minutes from 4 local wineries and 10 minutes from dining/shopping. We have kept the farm house feel with plenty of room for a family. This is a single occupancy listing. Your party will be the only guests. We do have a separate living space in our barn so only parking is shared. Originally 100 acres was purchased by the Deering family back in the 1800's from the Holland Land company. Then sometime near 1900 the farm was split between two brothers, each receiving 50 acres. The home was originally built in 1903 and is currently updated and remodeled for today’s codes and standards. 47 acres of accessible woods and pasture remain for hiking and at the top of the property a breath-taking view across Lake Erie into Ontario Canada. For summertime it is just minutes to the Lake Erie shoreline and Dunkirk harbor for aquatic activities. In the Fall you cannot beat the canopy of colors. There are 4 wonderful wineries within 5 miles of your door, bring a bottle home and enjoy it by an outdoor campfire, or just sit on the patio and look up at the night sky. In the morning you can make your coffee by the cup, or carafe then sit on the patio and watch the sunrise. Major department and food stores are just minutes away. Property is 10 miles from East Aurora, 30 miles from Buffalo, 25 miles from Batavia Located on a small homestead farm with free range chickens, ducks, cantankerous geese, as well as dwarf goats, honey bees and a blind dog--so please drive slowly. Farm encompasses a mature hardwood forest, large organic vegetable garden, pollinator gardens, plant nursery, fruit and nut trees and shrubs. A diverse population of wild birds visit and nest here, including our summer pond resident green heron. A creek with waterfall runs through the property. Cabin is on the edge of a tree-lined pond. Host will meet with you upon arrival to give overview of land layout. We live and work here, but will respect your privacy and space. We ask that you please do the same, which includes all the living inhabitants here. We are in farm country, so at times there may be tractors, manure spreading, mowing, etc. in nearby fields. Also, the frogs make quite a ruckus on the pond in the evening.

It also has 2 queen beds and all blankets pillows etc. It also has a firepit with free wood and firestarters and also a gas bbq grill to use.

Very kind hosts, warm welcome. It is a working farm with a grassy area for your tent in the heart of the flower growing area, and access to shared bathroom in their cozy classic farmhouse.

Weekend Trip to High Falls Farm

Absolutely loved our stay at Sarah’s land! The campsite was peaceful, spacious, and surrounded by beautiful nature. Sarah was a wonderful host – very friendly, responsive, and helpful with everything we needed. The spot was clean, private, and perfect for tent camping. We especially enjoyed the quiet atmosphere at night and the stunning views in the morning. Would definitely come back again – highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature!
