We have a small garden, a flock of sheep and chickens, hives of honeybees and countless wild foraging on our 36 acres of pasture and hiking trails.   Take a walk down to Brockendock pond and cruise across the water in a canoe or paddleboat to find peepers, heron, toads and turtles. Drop a line in the water to catch trout, bass and sunnies. The chicken coop is always bustling and there are plenty of eggs to harvest each day. A morning hike on the trails usually kicks up the deer and wild turkeys and at night the barn owl will sing for you if you listen close. Adults and children are welcome to pet and feed the animals on the farm. There are farm tours available where you can learn more about our mushroom garden, composting techniques, blueberries, felting, and more.

About the Property: Our unique property boasts quiet camping on a beautifully manicured MotoTrials Riding and Obstacle Play Course. 2025 marks our first year offering camping to the public, and we look forward to HipCampers joining us in our unique venue. All 4 camping sites are nestled into the Obstacle course. Trials riders and non-Trials Riders alike will find much to enjoy here. Campers unfamiliar with Trial are welcome to take advantage of a Lesson on one of our Rental Bikes, while the Obstacle Course is also super-fun on foot (for walks or runs), mountain bike, trials bicycle, or for playing with your RC toy! We have night lighting to turn on at your request, even if just to sit in the evening and enjoy the lights reflecting off the pond-We surely do! We are located on NY 38 but our traffic is not obnoxious (Log and Milk Trucks, Farm Tractors and Commuters). It is very peaceful here. Your camping can be as private, quiet and leisurely as you wish. The views and big sky are gorgeous in our corner of farm country. Our small pond (tho not suitable for fishing or swimming) provides entertainment w/ turtle sunbathing raft and lots of nature's visitors. Pets always welcome off-leash with your guidance. About the Trials Riding: Sundays are a practice day or Event day. We host 4 Mototrial Events each season (see below) and if spectating appeals, you can plan your trip to coincide. You're in for a treat if you've never seen these nimble motorcycles do their 'thing'... up, over, and around the obstacles. Events are busy and exciting, but no worries (!) trials bikes are not loud. Riders are friendly and considerate. If spectating not your thing- no worries. Non-event/non-practice days are quite laidback. If Trials riders come here for additional practice (or instruction) it's not loud or invasive, nor interferes with any camper training or play on the course. When riders are here (barring Events or Sunday Practice ), it's typically only 2-4 at once. Multiple activities co-exist nicely, as there is plenty of room for all. There are many days no one is on the course at all (!) and you may have it all to yourself or possibly with another camper. Hope to see you in our slice of heaven! Enjoy private fancy camping in this light-filled, fully furnished cabin on a platform overlooking a pond, pastures, and the valley beyond. Situated on a working farm just 15 min. southeast of Ithaca, NY, this is perfect for a family or romantic get-away. Unplug, relax, and visit the local trails, wineries, and waterfalls, or just hang out and enjoy the view! We only have the one cabin, so you will have the entire space to yourselves, including the hot water showers, flush toilets, and outdoor kitchen at the nearby bath house. Luxury camping has a greater level of comfort and convenience, but it is still camping. This means the camp area can be affected by extreme weather, insects, heat, and noises in the area (dogs barking, neighbors mowing lawns, etc.) We work hard to ensure the most pleasant stay possible. There are mosquito screens on all windows (and under the cabin decking!), but insects can still find ways to creep in. Rainstorms can be quite loud on the metal roof of the cabin. The bath house is a short walk away down a gravel path, which may feel longer in inclement weather. Keep this in mind when booking as we don't refund for insect issues or undesirable weather conditions during your stay. We provide all linens and towels. You will have private access to a rustic outdoor kitchen in the bath house, a 10-second walk from the tent cabin. The kitchen is stocked with a small fridge, 2-burner stove, dishes and flatware, cutting board and knives, olive oil and salt. We also supply a charcoal grill, charcoal, and a lighter. We provide fresh-ground organic coffee and sugar, a French press, and a drip coffee pot. We also provide a fire ring, kindling, and firewood you can use to have a campfire during your stay. A wide variety of staples (including beverages (24 beers on tap!), sandwiches, and breakfast options) is available at Brookton's Market 2 miles down the road. Other things to note There is no Wifi at the cabin or bath house, and cell service is very spotty and somewhat dependent on your carrier. While there is electric service at the kitchen/bath house for charging phones and other devices, the cabin has no electricity. We provide some basic ambient lights and portable solar lanterns, but you may want to bring headlamps. The parking area is about 50-60 yards from the tent. There is a gravel path to walk on.

Our farm features a beautiful blueberry pond where we host campers, farm to table dinners, music festivals and events. Our current camping area is a private rustic space with water views around our blueberry pond, tucked away from the main roads. We can accommodate RVs and also offer rustic cabins, although they have not yet been opened for the season. Currently, we welcome all car and tent campers. If interested in rustic cabin inquire about availability. We will always take special request and needs under consideration, so always feel free to reach out. Amenities include flushing toilets, a covered pavilion with accessible grills, tenting sites, washing stations, a fire area, and during the summer months, kayaking and swimming. Local attractions and sites, if you choose to leave our little slice of heaven include.... Lake Ontario Beaches and kayaking waterways, Salmon River and Salmon River Fishing, and Salmon River Falls (beautiful 110 ft waterfall), with of course limitless day trips in every direction. Enjoy private fancy camping in this light-filled, fully furnished cabin on a platform overlooking a pond, pastures, and the valley beyond. Situated on a working farm just 15 min. southeast of Ithaca, NY, this is perfect for a family or romantic get-away. Unplug, relax, and visit the local trails, wineries, and waterfalls, or just hang out and enjoy the view! We only have the one cabin, so you will have the entire space to yourselves, including the hot water showers, flush toilets, and outdoor kitchen at the nearby bath house. Luxury camping has a greater level of comfort and convenience, but it is still camping. This means the camp area can be affected by extreme weather, insects, heat, and noises in the area (dogs barking, neighbors mowing lawns, etc.) We work hard to ensure the most pleasant stay possible. There are mosquito screens on all windows (and under the cabin decking!), but insects can still find ways to creep in. Rainstorms can be quite loud on the metal roof of the cabin. The bath house is a short walk away down a gravel path, which may feel longer in inclement weather. Keep this in mind when booking as we don't refund for insect issues or undesirable weather conditions during your stay. We provide all linens and towels. You will have private access to a rustic outdoor kitchen in the bath house, a 10-second walk from the tent cabin. The kitchen is stocked with a small fridge, 2-burner stove, dishes and flatware, cutting board and knives, olive oil and salt. We also supply a charcoal grill, charcoal, and a lighter. We provide fresh-ground organic coffee and sugar, a French press, and a drip coffee pot. We also provide a fire ring, kindling, and firewood you can use to have a campfire during your stay. A wide variety of staples (including beverages (24 beers on tap!), sandwiches, and breakfast options) is available at Brookton's Market 2 miles down the road. Other things to note There is no Wifi at the cabin or bath house, and cell service is very spotty and somewhat dependent on your carrier. While there is electric service at the kitchen/bath house for charging phones and other devices, the cabin has no electricity. We provide some basic ambient lights and portable solar lanterns, but you may want to bring headlamps. The parking area is about 50-60 yards from the tent. There is a gravel path to walk on.

This was my second time staying at the little barn on the hill and my first solo trip there. It was a rainy autumn afternoon when I showed up but perfectly cozy inside the hayloft, where I set up my hammock. Laurel got me acquainted with the many new amenities, as they seem to always be making wonderful upgrades to the property. Mike and Laurel's land is the perfect place for me to go when I don't want the hassle of setting up my tent and want a wall and roof and a little electricity. To a tenter, this is a luxurious paradise and I can't wait to return.

Our experience at The Christmas Tree Farm Hidden Delight was absolutely wonderful. Mary was a fantastic host. She was friendly and thorough in her communication, even recommending places to enjoy in the area. We arrived later in the day and were thrilled that she had started a fire in the woodstove inside the tent and had also started a campfire for us. So very thoughtful and a fabulous surprise. The site itself is incredibly private with amazing views. The firewood she provided was dry and plentiful, a bonus since it was a bit chilly for much of our visit. It was great to be able to have the dogs off leash too. We enjoyed our time immensely and highly recommend the site. Thank you, Mary!

Came again for Obstacle Course (see July review-tent at Hilltop). Great training with my border collie. My gal brought mountain bike this time to play. A good time for all. Highly recommend for training and fun to walk in evenings. First time renting Barn was awesome, just as described-better even. Several steps up from tent but still open-air. Thought about plugging in space heater (provided) but decided we didn't want to close up loft. Really nice at night. We were cozy enough in our sleeping bags just like our tent-but with futon mattress underneath us-and dry. Location near Rt. 38 wasn't issue for road noise for us. Description spot on about traffic 'not obnoxious' and I think muffled some by hillside trees too. Any traffic heard from road--just went along in a gentle rhythm -- like everything else here. Hosts are super accommodating in every way. Old school people who are there when you need 'em and leave you alone when you don't. The only possible drawback was being asked not to eat inside Barn. I'm a crackers-in-bed kinda guy- but I understand it- and appreciate what the Hosts do to keep critters and bugs out of Barn. Likely it ain't easy in this country setting- so no problem. The weather was a little damp outside but we built fire in the fire bowl and enjoyed warm supper just fine. It IS camping after all (!) my girl reminded me. Our dog of course was fine with the outside eating rule. Will be back again (and again) great place great hosts.

Mike and Laurel are awesome hosts. Great dark place for star gazing. I was up looking at late looking at the Milky Way. You Cant see that near a city. The cabin/shed was cool. Everything you need even a small fridge, flash light, water, outdoor faucet, sun heated shower and a place to charge phone. The outside looks like a resort. Got to see a green heron. Dont know about the WiFi but had great cell service. Don’t pass this by if you’re a camper. Way better than putting up a tent.

Beautiful camp, recommend! Was here with our kids, had a wonderful time!!! Beautiful spot with good privacy, firepit, table, and (simple) glamping tent really fun pond with canoe, paddle boat, and swing kept the kids super happy great location near ithaca and beautiful surroundings convenient outhouse only possible downsides (none of these were issues for us, but worth noting) - keep in mind - shower is cold and not quite private so its ideal for hosing down after a dip and not real bathing - some road noise from nearby highway - not terrible at all, but noticeable - there are some other sites including a group site - which if fully booked might cause some noise

4 nights at Underhill Forest and Farm
Wonderful time. Tiny house met all of our needs of us two parents and two teenagers. Very clean. Canoeing on the small pond was nice. Picking blueberries was wonderful. Plenty of room to yourself between tiny house and the other places they rent out. And plenty of parking. Easy to get to the main road.
