The property is also next to a show horse farm that has two donkeys so be prepared to hear them also . Very entertaining. We are currently a new site and are doing construction on the land. Please be patient with us. We have one other listing on the land so there may be times you do see other guests. We have a home under construction on the property so we also may be there at times. This site gives you a quiet wooded area to camp for the night or two with a porta potty for luxury camping. This site allows you to have a quiet place to camp without a lot of people and kid free. Most campgrounds have children but Stars and Sage does not allow children. Please feel free to bring your own camping needs as we only provide a fire area. The site is approximately 19 feet by 39 feet in dimension. You will be close to Mexico village and about 20 minutes from the city of Oswego. Plenty of biking areas all around . Enjoy a hike in the trail or take a short trip to Mexico point to put your Canoe or kayaks in to enjoy Lake Ontario. Lake Ontario is well known for fishing. You may see deer, Fox, muskrat, etc. you may hear coyotes in the distance. A flash light and a hatchet and bug spray are definitely recommended to have on hand.

With cobblestone mill ruins, a 200 year old cemetery at the property entrance and a large dam at the top of some of New York's most beautiful waterfalls, this is the former site of one of the Georgia Pacific's many logging mills dating back to the early 1800's and a part of Adirondack history. Surrounded by bedrock, huge boulders, massive pine trees and miles and miles of trails, the Fowlerville Falls offer days of exploration and/or relaxation. There is a large swimming hole at the top of the falls, just off of the South-facing bedrock bank, where you can swim or lay in the sun. The falls, themselves, are almost 500 ft. across (at the widest point) and approximately 150 ft. in length (from top to bottom), ascending at approximately a 40-45 degree angle, making them navigable by foot. In the drier months (and, of course, depending on rain fall), most of the falls are dry, with only 50 - 100 ft. of water flow, making them navigable by foot. There are many little pools and flowing water across the bedrock to explore, along with the rest of the river, the surrounding woods and adjacent miles and miles of atv/hiking trails. If you are kayaker, there river above the falls is calm and fairly shallow, ranging from .5 - several feet in depth. And if you are white water enthusiast, Fowlerville Falls (and the Moose River) is a nationally rated and renowned spot, boasting a class III-IV under normal release conditions, and a dangerous, cold class V under spring runoff conditions. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Learn more about this land: A raw, pine forest lining the bedrock banks of Port Leyden's Fowlerville Falls, just inside of the Adirondack park. My husband and I had the pleasure of being the first hip camp guests! What an amazing experience! We were so happy to visit this hidden gem! It is underdevelopment so it’s under a tad of construction. However this little gem is definitely one I would visit again. Joe was an amazing host and stayed up late for us after a small embarrassing navigation on my part(pfft truck driver getting lost lmbo) I would overall say the experience was amazing. I wouldn’t bring tiny humans… like I said still under development and the ponds… being a hover craft mom still for my adult children. But as a doggie mom my dogs loved it! Thanks again Joe!

This spot is AMAZING!! Super quiet, private, and just a great setup. We are boondockers so we didn't need anything. A very clean outhouse was a bonus. Great fire pit with benches and a picnic table. Trails all around. We explored the trails to the river, with the drought, it was very low. Very nice trails. A very nice walk down the very quiet road to the Moose River. A beautiful spot to explore. One thing, as usual, Google maps is off on the directions. Follow Stacey's directions and look for the gate. We will definitely be back.

My family and I tent camped with our fearless corgi for a week here and it was an amazing experience. The site is set just off a quiet country road surrounded by corn fields with easy access to the lake and Pulaski. Most of the traffic we saw was horse drawn Amish buggies. We made great use of the gazebo and picnic table on location as well as the campfire pit. Toni provided trash pickup and some firewood for us throughout the week which was completely unexpected but an awesome little touch. We were able to observe plenty of wildlife while just sitting at the campfire to include deer, fox, birds and even a couple of coyotes (who were no match for the corgi who chase them off…lol). We highly recommend Toni and her Hipcamp spot. We will be booking again next year and probably bring a camper to take advantage of the full onsite hookup.

Everything was great, the property was well maintained. The facilities were nice for what it was. We had a wonderful time, the property is very private and quiet most of the time except when there is a caravan of ATVs going by, which is to be expected for the area. The location is fantastic its private , but not too far from anything you might need. It was very nice to be able to let our dogs run free on the property and with plenty of trails there for them to run through.

6 nights at Birch's Lakeside Campground/Marina

My doggie CB and I enjoyed the time we spent at Paul Birch's Lakeside CG. The campers we met were extremely friendly and helpful and its a very dog friendly place!! Site 10 was awesome and we were grateful to be their for the Sept full moon which was a spectacular site over Lake Cranberry! Charlie Brown and I will be back

Weekend Trip to Absolute Serenity

Absolute Serenity was perfect for our group and camping style. Great piece of property with a ton of trails to explore. Large open area for setting up camp with communal fire pit outfitted with benches and picnic table. Stargazing was amazing. Our 3 dogs (high energy hunting breed) had a blast running, exploring and even enjoyed the dog pool on property. It was definitely private and no real traffic - except for the atv’s headed to the trail system. Next time, we’ll bring out sideXside to take full advantage of the location. Stacey was readily available and quick to respond to any questions. Super friendly and welcoming.

Weekend Trip to Kasoag Lake

Close to water and ATV trails start right at camp grounds Close short ride to stores and gas. Nice ATV ride to salmon river to go swimming. However a lot of traffic (cars motorcycles and ATV going by camp site till late hours. So no early to bed People very friendly

Toni’s place was fantastic. Super peaceful and set amongst a beautiful back drop of corn fields and trees. Great spot to hang a hammock too!

Weekend Trip to Birch's Lakeside Campground/Marina

Great camp site. Location on lake was perfect and awesome views. Owners were nice and responsive. Clean bathrooms and showers. Awesome little general store. We will be back.
