Camp Handsome Hollow is designed with your group in mind! It has plenty of space, designated for only one group at a time, minimum 6 guests, maximum 25 guests, 5 years and under free. Furry friends are welcome. We are open the first weekend in June, thru the end of October (Thursday-Monday).
To assist with an easy and enjoyable visit, the camp has bountiful amenities. Prep and prepare delicious meals, in a stocked, covered, comfortable and lit (led) outdoor kitchen. Enjoy meal prep with our various, bulk cast iron cookware and season with an array of available spices. Cook over an open flame on the elongated wood fired grill. Grill on one or two of our commercial grade charcoal grills. Fuel is easy with our self-serve firewood for purchase or bring your own charcoal. Rent a burner, fryer, crab pot or wok included with propane, to experiment and create a memorable meal.
Easily access cold food and drinks with a full-size refrigerator, in the nearby pavilion. Safely store supplies with plenty of ample dry shelving. Making coffee for your group is easy, using our fresh, well water and bulk 15 cup coffee maker. Conveniently, power rice cookers and crock pots at our small appliance station. Enjoy meals and quality time utilizing multiple areas, such as our wrap around bench, picnic tables, and lean to area. Afterwards, dishes are easy, including late night clean up with our lighted, double sink dishwashing and drying area.
Listen and enjoy your playlists with the Pyle Bluetooth surround system while playing fun yard games or shoot some hoops (bring your own ball). Access our unique bathhouse and clean, interesting outhouse. Build a campfire, whenever you like in our firepit with self-serve firewood. In the evenings, illuminate a portion of the camp with the horseshoe pit overhead lights. Star gazing is amazing with dim lighting or bring a telescope.
The activities and adventure continue offsite and nearby from natural areas and a distillery to outdoor Mexican food with a view. Enjoy breathtaking mountain and country views while strolling along Shea and Klondike Road. View functional stick and stone art or experience a tour, onsite with #9's Polish Designs (the host), upon request/reservation.
Offsite and for easy water recreation, swim, fish or relax on the river rock beach, at the East Branch River Access, only 8 minutes away from camp. Enjoy a river trip, and leisurely float on the river. Soaring Eagle, less than 15 minutes away, provides the necessities, kayaks, tubes, rafts and canoes, plus transportation.
Beyond the river and just a few minutes away, Rock Valley Spirits, offers distillery tours/tastings/cocktails with scenic outdoor views and seating. Grab a bite to eat at Salsa Shack, less than 10 minutes away, while gazing at the lush greenery, mountain views and beaver pond. Afterwards, work off the meal, with an amazing and scenic hike, or walking trails. The famous Jensen Ledges and Patridge Walking Trail are a short drive away. On the way back to camp take a quick dip at the Lordville River Access, stop at the Equinunk General Store or grab some ice cream at The Cow Lick.
Besides the plethora of possibilities, other amenities are included with your stay. As an overview, included with the camp are bulk cooking items (pots, pans, serving utensils, knives, spices), large 15 cup coffee maker/urn and 7 to 14 gallons of fresh, drinkable, well water for your usage. Upon reservation, we provide a kitchen content list of specific items. Please bring your own dishes, flatware, cooking oils, paper products, storage containers, etc.

Follow the short walking trail down the steps from the parking area where you will find multiple great locations to set up along our private, trout-filled brook nestled amongst the Hemlock trees. Whether it's just you, a family or a larger camping party we are sure you will enjoy your stay.
To make your stay as memorable as possible we have provided camp with plenty of space to choose a great tent site, a small platform that will fit a standard tent or can be used as needed, a fire pit for campfires or cooking, rustic seating, a picnic table, portable drinking water, BBQ grill, trash removal and a composting toilet.
There is plenty to do and see right here at camp from all nature has to offer with its pure beauty and wildlife. Feel free to stroll down the banks of the brook or just splash in the water. Looking for more water fun? Our brook feeds directly into the East Branch of the Delaware River just downstream. Perhaps try your luck with a fishing pole and catch some brook trout (NYS Fishing Permit required).
Looking for more adventure to experience. We are located just minutes from both the East and West Branches of the Delaware River where you can canoe, fish, swim or nature watch. Just minutes away is Bear Spring Mountain State Park which offers multi-use trails, swimming pond and boat rentals. Locally you will find multiple covered bridges, local breweries, hiking trails, waterfalls, antiques, shops, restaurants, and more.
Pets are welcome! Please be sure your pet is on a leash at all times! We have our own pets and nature has provided a multitude of wild animals that your pet could come in contact with and we would hate to have anything happen to any of them.
Guests are responsible for providing their own tents, bedding and food. Roadside parking is available next to the campsite and can hold up to 5 vehicles with more parking available at the main house if needed (please ask in advance).

Hello and welcome to our newly finished cabin! We can’t wait for you to arrive!
Enjoy “camping/glamping” indoors in our upstate New York 16x20 insulated boho/rustic cabin complete with Queen sized bed, pull out sofa with Queen sized mattress, kitchenette with sink, water (both cold and hot), mini-fridge, microwave, propane cooktop, coffeemaker, pots/pans/dishes/utensils and table/benches. Our “outhouse” is an en suite (in the cabin) composting (sawdust and/or other compostable material) toilet, shower and hand-washing sink. Heating is currently via an oil-filled electric heater(DeLonghi type).
An outdoor covered area attached to the cabin provides a table with benches, chairs, charcoal bbq and accessories, camp chairs, and some room to store extra outdoor equipment you might have.
Just 1.5 miles from the interstate, our cabin is situated on a little over an acre of land in the rural Hamlet of Fishs Eddy, New York, surrounded by mountains, with nearby access to fishing, swimming and kayaking/canoeing at the public access point about 1 mile away, and world class golfing about 20 minutes away. Occasionally, eagles soar above the trees across the road, and owls and other wildlife make themselves known in the woodland surrounding the property. Wild turkey and deer are commonly seen and cross through or close. There’s some footage in the woods to take a short walk, or sit on the Adirondack chairs and bench and enjoy a picnic. (Carry-in/carry-out/leave no trace an absolute must due to wildlife).
The main house is directly across from the cabin(about 100 feet), separated by a sizable lawn with a handmade custom steel fire ring, and room to set up any lawn games or activities you might bring with you. The groundskeeper/caretaker/super/engineer who designed the water system and finished the cabin currently occupies the main house with his family. He is available for any questions, concerns or problems that may arise in the cabin or on the property, and can point you to local hiking/running areas. He also can give you the coordinates to get to a few of the local fresh water springs, where you can collect your own spring water.
Wi-Fi is available on the property closer to the main house near the parking area. We are currently working to improve accessibility and hope to resolve it by the time you book. Cell service (depending on your carrier) is spotty due to the topography of the area, but you can take a quick drive down the road to what we call the “phone booth” (the parking lot of the DPW) and get great service.
Right down the road, check to see if the “FRESH EGGS” sign is up and if there are any eggs available in the cooler. There is a $3 charge per dozen for the eggs and it’s honor system. You might see the chickens running around the driveway making sure they are earning their cash.
Just one exit away, (about 7 miles) is the town of Hancock, dubbed, “The Gateway to the Upper Delaware.” You’ll have access to gas, groceries and libations, or grab a drink and dinner at the Hancock House Hotel, Little Italy, or the Circle E Diner, which serves some of the best pie in town! (Apple, Apple Upside Down, Chocolate Cream, Coconut Custard…). In Hancock you will also find kayak rentals with shuttle service, and the highway that will take you on a scenic drive to the Zane Roebling Bridge. The French Woods Golf course is about a 20 minute drive from Fishs Eddy. If you’re in the mood for a longer drive, just under and hour, you can ride into Binghamton and check out the historic district, or just get some needed shopping done at the big box stores available.

You can also shop for all your groceries at Freshtown, a large supermarket that services the area.
Take county route 6 over to Andes NY, about a 20 min drive from the cabin and you will find yourself in another super cute little town offering more farm to table restaurants, boutique and antique shops and the hip Wayside Cider Tap Room.

Access our unique bathhouse and clean, interesting outhouse. Build a campfire, whenever you like in our firepit with self-serve firewood. In the evenings, illuminate a portion of the camp with the horseshoe pit overhead lights. Star gazing is amazing with dim lighting or bring a telescope.
The activities and adventure continue offsite and nearby from natural areas and a distillery to outdoor Mexican food with a view. Enjoy breathtaking mountain and country views while strolling along Shea and Klondike Road. View functional stick and stone art or experience a tour, onsite with #9's Polish Designs (the host), upon request/reservation.
Offsite and for easy water recreation, swim, fish or relax on the river rock beach, at the East Branch River Access, only 8 minutes away from camp. Enjoy a river trip, and leisurely float on the river. Soaring Eagle, less than 15 minutes away, provides the necessities, kayaks, tubes, rafts and canoes, plus transportation.
Beyond the river and just a few minutes away, Rock Valley Spirits, offers distillery tours/tastings/cocktails with scenic outdoor views and seating. Grab a bite to eat at Salsa Shack, less than 10 minutes away, while gazing at the lush greenery, mountain views and beaver pond. Afterwards, work off the meal, with an amazing and scenic hike, or walking trails. The famous Jensen Ledges and Patridge Walking Trail are a short drive away. On the way back to camp take a quick dip at the Lordville River Access, stop at the Equinunk General Store or grab some ice cream at The Cow Lick.
Besides the plethora of possibilities, other amenities are included with your stay. As an overview, included with the camp are bulk cooking items (pots, pans, serving utensils, knives, spices), large 15 cup coffee maker/urn and 7 to 14 gallons of fresh, drinkable, well water for your usage. Upon reservation, we provide a kitchen content list of specific items. Please bring your own dishes, flatware, cooking oils, paper products, storage containers, etc.

To make your stay as memorable as possible we have provided camp with plenty of space to choose a great tent site, a small platform that will fit a standard tent or can be used as needed, a fire pit for campfires or cooking, rustic seating, a picnic table, portable drinking water, BBQ grill, trash removal and a composting toilet.
There is plenty to do and see right here at camp from all nature has to offer with its pure beauty and wildlife. Feel free to stroll down the banks of the brook or just splash in the water. Looking for more water fun? Our brook feeds directly into the East Branch of the Delaware River just downstream. Perhaps try your luck with a fishing pole and catch some brook trout (NYS Fishing Permit required).
Looking for more adventure to experience. We are located just minutes from both the East and West Branches of the Delaware River where you can canoe, fish, swim or nature watch. Just minutes away is Bear Spring Mountain State Park which offers multi-use trails, swimming pond and boat rentals. Locally you will find multiple covered bridges, local breweries, hiking trails, waterfalls, antiques, shops, restaurants, and more.
Pets are welcome! Please be sure your pet is on a leash at all times! We have our own pets and nature has provided a multitude of wild animals that your pet could come in contact with and we would hate to have anything happen to any of them.
Guests are responsible for providing their own tents, bedding and food. Roadside parking is available next to the campsite and can hold up to 5 vehicles with more parking available at the main house if needed (please ask in advance).

Hello and welcome to our newly finished cabin! We can’t wait for you to arrive!
Enjoy “camping/glamping” indoors in our upstate New York 16x20 insulated boho/rustic cabin complete with Queen sized bed, pull out sofa with Queen sized mattress, kitchenette with sink, water (both cold and hot), mini-fridge, microwave, propane cooktop, coffeemaker, pots/pans/dishes/utensils and table/benches. Our “outhouse” is an en suite (in the cabin) composting (sawdust and/or other compostable material) toilet, shower and hand-washing sink. Heating is currently via an oil-filled electric heater(DeLonghi type).
An outdoor covered area attached to the cabin provides a table with benches, chairs, charcoal bbq and accessories, camp chairs, and some room to store extra outdoor equipment you might have.
Just 1.5 miles from the interstate, our cabin is situated on a little over an acre of land in the rural Hamlet of Fishs Eddy, New York, surrounded by mountains, with nearby access to fishing, swimming and kayaking/canoeing at the public access point about 1 mile away, and world class golfing about 20 minutes away. Occasionally, eagles soar above the trees across the road, and owls and other wildlife make themselves known in the woodland surrounding the property. Wild turkey and deer are commonly seen and cross through or close. There’s some footage in the woods to take a short walk, or sit on the Adirondack chairs and bench and enjoy a picnic. (Carry-in/carry-out/leave no trace an absolute must due to wildlife).
The main house is directly across from the cabin(about 100 feet), separated by a sizable lawn with a handmade custom steel fire ring, and room to set up any lawn games or activities you might bring with you. The groundskeeper/caretaker/super/engineer who designed the water system and finished the cabin currently occupies the main house with his family. He is available for any questions, concerns or problems that may arise in the cabin or on the property, and can point you to local hiking/running areas. He also can give you the coordinates to get to a few of the local fresh water springs, where you can collect your own spring water.
Wi-Fi is available on the property closer to the main house near the parking area. We are currently working to improve accessibility and hope to resolve it by the time you book. Cell service (depending on your carrier) is spotty due to the topography of the area, but you can take a quick drive down the road to what we call the “phone booth” (the parking lot of the DPW) and get great service.
Right down the road, check to see if the “FRESH EGGS” sign is up and if there are any eggs available in the cooler. There is a $3 charge per dozen for the eggs and it’s honor system. You might see the chickens running around the driveway making sure they are earning their cash.
Just one exit away, (about 7 miles) is the town of Hancock, dubbed, “The Gateway to the Upper Delaware.” You’ll have access to gas, groceries and libations, or grab a drink and dinner at the Hancock House Hotel, Little Italy, or the Circle E Diner, which serves some of the best pie in town! (Apple, Apple Upside Down, Chocolate Cream, Coconut Custard…). In Hancock you will also find kayak rentals with shuttle service, and the highway that will take you on a scenic drive to the Zane Roebling Bridge. The French Woods Golf course is about a 20 minute drive from Fishs Eddy. If you’re in the mood for a longer drive, just under and hour, you can ride into Binghamton and check out the historic district, or just get some needed shopping done at the big box stores available.

You can also shop for all your groceries at Freshtown, a large supermarket that services the area.
Take county route 6 over to Andes NY, about a 20 min drive from the cabin and you will find yourself in another super cute little town offering more farm to table restaurants, boutique and antique shops and the hip Wayside Cider Tap Room.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Scandinavian staycation cabin! The place was spacious, cozy, and the wood stove was our absolute favorite, it made everything feel so warm and homey. On our last morning, we even got some snow flurries, which totally made our day. Our cat loved hanging out on the stairs too. It was a little chilly at times, but overall we enjoyed our stay!

The owner harvests their own vegetables and create their own baked bread which is outstanding (I suggest you enjoy it together when they serve breakfast). I love how they allow the travelers to use their basement bathroom which is super clean and neat. We would definitely want to come back for more experience since it felt like 3 days was too short :)

Weekend Trip to Catskills Farmhand Cabin
The Farmhand Cabin was just what I was looking for...a quiet warm, welcoming place, peaceful and relaxing. The cabin has all you need for a quiet get-away. Sitting on the porch drinking my morning coffee taking the view, watching the horses in their field, was the perfect start to my day. I loved wandering around the farm, visiting the animals, particularly the horses and goats. It was different experience each time, depending on time of day. Just hanging around the gate watching the horses. goats and chickens was delightful. I was fascinated by the livestock guardian dogs. They take their job seriously. Going through the horse field gate with Denise and meeting the horses and all the goats - and the guardian dog (who proceeded to sniff and allowed me to stay, while keeping a watchful eye out) - was an experience I'll never forget. I fell in love with Kevin, a retired NYC Central Park Carriage horse. Petting the horses, expecially Kevin's velvet nose was really a highlight for me. Farm noises - animal and tractors - day and night, just faded into background noise. Evenings were spent by the brook and campfire, soothing and beautiful.
I have traveled a lot - camping and sightseeing - this Farmhand Cabin long weekend ranks at the top of all vacations. I enjoyed every minute and look forward to returning next year! Thank you, Denise!!

A lovely little hideaway, as the name implies. The space is beautiful and the omnipresent sound of the small brook that runs through the site was lovely. Passing cars are visible and audible from the site, which was a surprise, but there was likely a bit more traffic than usual on this small road, as we visited on Fourth of July Weekend. Still, a very nice experience. We would certainly return.

Cozy little cabin next to a little creek with many amenities provided! Had a lovely time walking around the property and seeing the animals on the farm. Would definitely recommend for a small get away. Unfortunately we didnt plan the trip further ahead of time to sign up for the farm programs they offer but I'm sure it would be a great experience as the host was very kind and welcoming.
