This 140-acre property is an old farmstead last farmed in the 1950's. It lies in the Allegheny Plateau region of NW Pennsylvania and is mostly hardwood forest today. It is surrounded by thousands of acres of private forestland and is very secluded. Our goal is to provide a private and secluded yet accessible camping experience where you will see more deer than people. AANR/TNS friendly. There is excellent Verizon and T-Mobile service. The skies are dark at night and the sounds of nature will surround you. Campsite 1 is near where the farmhouse and barn once stood. The site is shaded by large, old maples that once shaded the farmhouse. Old fields surround the farmstead, but the woods are a short walk away.  It is the most popular campsite with an outhouse, fire ring and picnic table available. Campsite 2 is on the other side of the property. There is a fire ring but no picnic table.  Both sites easily accommodate anything from tents to RV's. Each site has a separate, gated, gravel road access. These are the only 2 campsites on the property and they are far enough apart (1/4 mile) to avoid any contact should both sites be occupied. There is a 2-mile loop hiking trail on the property that traverses a variety of habitats which are home to many animals and birds. The trail is well maintained and mowed. The terrain is flat to gentle slopes. The 1/2-mile Narnia Loop trail weaves through a young spruce forest like a maze. It is so cool, literally, even on the hottest days. The Allegheny River is about 10 miles away, near Tidioute, PA, and has excellent paddling and fishing. Titusville, PA is about 15 miles away and is home to Oil Creek State Park which has great trout fishing, an excellent paved bike/hike trail, and Drake Well Museum site of the first oil well ever drilled. Finally, you will be on the doorstep to the Allegheny National Forest with all the outdoor recreation it has to offer. Angie and Dan were absolutely terrific Hosts. Very responsive and friendly. Cabin we stayed in was very clean and almost like new to be honest. I also recommend taking them up on the breakfast add on. They do a really great job and helped us end our trip on a good note.

Clean air and a clean campground❣️Definitely had a hippy vibe to it, and was not far from the highway. The staff was in contact with me right after my same day reservation, and the owner I met was welcoming. There are port a potties and showers available, but they are in the process of building an actual bathhouse. There is also a pet fee to be aware of. I would describe this as rustic camping, so do not expect something like a formal campground with paved parking spots, fire rings, and picnic tables at the sites. Think open farm field, walk in woods camping. I would stay again❣️

We had such a wonderful time staying at Dave’s campsite! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, well-kept, and exactly as described. The site had plenty of space for our family, and it was peaceful and private. Dave was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed evenings around the fire, mornings with beautiful views, and lots of quality family time. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming camping experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Adam's property was exceptionally well-kept, open and spacious, and super convenient to all the Erie, PA amenities. We were especially impressed by how clean the facilities were, the availability of firewood, and Adam's quick responsiveness whenever we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again. 3 nights at Angie's Country Cabins B&B

We had a fabulous three nights staying in the Country Cabin at Angie's Country Cabins. The Country Cabin has it's own parking and outhouse and is secluded from the rest of the property. You are able to follow a path to the main site during the day, but I wouldn't recommend it at night. (That's ok, it is literally a 20 second drive.) We had a great time meeting and chatting with Angie's family and other campers. Every morning we walked over to the main site and had a coffee, showered, and had a relaxing start to our day. Each night we settled around the community campfire and made some food, chitchatted with other campers, and one night pulled out guitars and jammed for a bit. We are already talking about going back in the winter and staying in Reynolds Rustic Retreat -- hopefully we have a few feet of snow and can escape from the world. Angie was always quick to respond to answer questions, both via phone and on the app. In addition she has videos, instructions on the amenities, and various books/games/etc. in the cabins. Stay here, relax for a few days, and get off the grid!

Easy access, and nice spot with beautiful view. There are some farm stay trailer setups nearby, but still felt private enough. Toilet is composting, so paper in the trash, which may not be for everyone. I like the hippy-ish vibe.

2 nights at The Crosspatch

Came here on a couple summer weeknights while visiting the Seneca nation and allegheny state park, and we were the only campers. Dolly welcomed us and her son showed us around the place, but for the most part we were there alone. The pavilion was a great place to convene and offered helpful living amenities, while our camp spot was next to the horse field, offering beautiful views. Would love to come back.

Weekend Trip to The Heron Farm & Event Center

When we got there I wasn't handed a bunch of papers and rules so I was a little unsure how everything was going to go, but I soon realized everyone was incredibly helpful, they have signs everywhere with what you need to know so they don't have to waste paper and they were just easy going and accommodating. As a single mom camping with a small child every interaction with guests and staff was positive and I never felt uncomfortable. The staff, realizing I had a small child, offered suggestions that made all the difference and later realized they were teachers. Highly recommend. We look forward to coming back 😊

This site is rustic yet gorgeous. Horseback riding available across the road and Dolly couldn't be nicer. Really great for people who want to experience country life while still being a short drive to casino or the cute shops or thriving nightlife in Ellicottville. Will definitely return!
