Weekend Trip to Sunny Mellow Eco Villa
So, if you are looking for a home away from home, this place may be for you. This is how I want to be living on a daily basis.
We parked our car on the designated gravel spot. Walked the signed trail to a deck dedicated to yoga while a ping pong table is 5 feet away. Going along the path further you see a bunny hanging out in the brush while little birds fly bush to bush alongside you. Then you spot the entrance to the tree house. Directly behind it is your fully equipped kitchen with seating and all under a tin roof. Then a fire pit is on your way to the outdoor bathroom. Don't worry you cross a bridge and step over marked rocks like on an adventure. A hot water shower, relaxes you while the trees hang over with the blue sky peaking through.
This place was paradise! Thank you for being so creative and well equipped for every possible situation! Top Notch!

Greg and Robbie’s property was the perfect quiet weekend escape for my wife and I. It was very clean, and it had everything that we needed. We originally booked for one night, but we enjoyed it so much that we extended for an extra day. I’d even say it is much better than the photos. We will definitely book again if we’re back in the area.

Gregory called me when I was on the road. I showed up around 9:15 at night. He left the lights on at the treehouse, which was very cool! Giving great directions to enter sara‘s land. Very peaceful, quite nice layout. I would recommend if you wanna have a good outdoor experience check it out.

Definitely recommend staying here. Everything was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The location was amazing and had cool little spots set up for different hang outs. I wish we could have stayed more than one night! Thank you again so much for everything guys!

Sunny Mellow is just as great as it looks in the pictures, actually even better! The Yoga Yurta was super comfy, and the bathroom’s just a few steps away and really clean. Greg was an awesome host - gave a tour and shared some great local tips. The whole place is amazing. The orchard, vineyard, swing, and common areas are all so chill and welcoming. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need to cook, grill, or make coffee.
Only stayed one night, which was definitely not enough. Plus, it’s really close to other fun places to explore. Can’t wait to come back!

I recently took my 8 year old grandson on his first trip to NM- my birthplace. Traveling from CA with only 5 days permission to have him to myself, I researched how to show him the natural side of our earth without “entertainment” that most kids want/need/can’t live without. The rules were simple: have an adventure every day and NO talking about sports. However, I packed the 5 days full of “nature” and hoped to still find quiet time. You actually never really know what you are going to get when you see the photos or read reviews on places. The treehouse was different. I was asked what it meant when you always read “land of enchantment”…… and then the understanding came at this site. Finding the “path” and walking among the pinyon pines and cholla cactus, we were transported like through the wardrobe in Narnia. The treehouse, the kitchen, another path to a proper bathroom and shower that was framed in barked branches and decorated with a filigree painting inside. And open air shower!!!! Most delightful. He found a rock at sunset and proceeded to do a small painting even as the light grew dim. I breathed in the total silence except for the wind and the cicadas. We made coffee and hot chocolate.
The contrast of modern conveniences (microwaves, hair dryers, flush toilets, electric lights in the treehouse) with the natural surroundings was a palpable gift.
Hosts were totally available and helpful.
I wanted to live there for a week and paint and cook. Beautiful memory.

Wow wow wow !! What an incredible stay with Gregory and his wife. I enjoyed the tree house and the massage table. I definitely will be back with friends. Me and my boyfriend recommend this place to everyone! From the swing… to the grapes… and then relaxing under the stars. So easy to find and drive too. Very happy!!!

We loved our stay at the Yoga Yurta! We unfortunately got in a bit later than we had hoped (after dark); the hosts were gracious about it, and Gregory kindly talked us through how to find the place ahead of time. His instructions made everything pretty easy to find. The bathroom is great and was navigable even in the dark! Everything was very pleasant and comfortable in the yurta. We only wished we had more time to spend -- hopefully another time!

This was perfect for my roadtrip! Great location, peaceful surroundings, and a comfortable bed. I slept well and stayed dry in the rain (vs sleeping in a tent -- my backup plan). The outdoor kitchen was well stocked, the private bathroom was clean, and the water pressure in the outdoor shower was great. You can tell that the hosts put a lot of love into this place. I'd love to return!

My 2 boys, 9 & 11, and I stayed here for 3 nights and it far exceeded expectations. Comfy beds, amazing sound of river rushing nearby, clean communal restrooms and showers. The beds even have heated mattress covers if it gets a little chilly at night. Amazing experience and can’t wait to come back.

2 nights at Sunny Mellow Eco Villa
Wow just wow! This location is exquisite from the moment you drive in! All the details were nicely done. Definitely an upgraded first class glamping! Inside the yurt is luxurious and just the place we needed to relax after our long drive. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for making a nice little breakfast before heading out for the day and also convenient for whipping together a little evening charcuterie to accompany your night cap. The property is beautiful to explore our favorite part was the enormous swing set! Of course coming in at a close second was the star chamber for a night gaze before hoping into the king size bed!
Lots of fun things to check out around Tijeras as well! We visited the Sandia Crest and the Tijeras Pueblo, had lunch in Albuquerque at the Church St Cafe, tried a local brew at Rumors and grabbed breakfast before heading out at Roots Farm Cafe. Would recommend all these places!
