Jon was very responsive and his property is a lot of fun! The gas grill and fire pit were nice to have, and the gated dog area was good for putting the pups in while we were cooking and sorting out camp. The walking trails around the property are very cool! Thank you Jon!

This was such a fun place to stay! The road in can get muddy but our big cars managed it fine. I loved how large the sites were and how family friendly it was. We brought several toddlers but never felt worried about their safety because we could always see them, the stream is fenced off in most places and it’s all flat. Host was wonderful and we can’t wait to come back.

Aly was a wonderful host and was very accommodating! The weather was beautiful and we loved the apple tree view. A meal (or 2) at Sugars is a MUST! It’s very conveniently located to area wineries and a short drive from great hiking!

One thing Jimmy does is provide some firewood. We set up our tent and then enjoyed an evening around a campfire as the sunset. I was a memorable and beautiful evening. I got a few good looks at the clear night sky and there were many stars! Much more than in the "city" where I live. I only wish I had more time to stay at Camp Chama.

Weekend Trip to Crow Camp

Stayed on Jesse's property near Lama NM with my partner during a climbing trip to the area. Jesse & co were super helpful, the campsite lovely - secluded among some scrub oaks - was everything we needed during our few days stay in the area. We also fell in love with his dog who would gently poke his nose around whenever we were cooking. Would heartily recommend. Jesse- thank you again for having us mate!

We had a cozy night in the en-suite at Susanne’s beautiful home. Our dog loved running in the yard and we were grateful to have a bed after many nights of camping. Would recommend Susanne’s place to any traveler.

Susanne’s place was nice and secluded. The bedroom had a connecting toilet and sink, both clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was rustic and clean. It was nice that pets were allowed. My dogs were welcomed and especially enjoyed the outdoors. Suzanne had a comfortable set of chairs by the stream which was walking distance. It was cool and peaceful.
