Welcome to Malouf's Mountain Sunset Campground, a hike in- hike out fully catered camping resort. We supply almost everything you needed to have a relaxing stay in the woods.
Established in 2006, our campground is nestled in the foot hills of the Fishkill Ridge.
Camping without a car? No camping gear? No Problem!
Wait until you see the bathhouse - hot showers on one side, flush toilets on the other, and in the middle, sinks for cleaning up and sinks for dishes. There are also two dryers in case your gear gets wet.
We created Primitive sites for the novice camper as well as Platform Tent Camping for the less experienced. 
The owner, Dick Malouf,  wanted to create a location where everyone could enjoy a hike and a place to stay under the stars.

Come have a picnic under a tree, spend a few hours and go for a hike in Hudson Highland Gateway Park, a Historic 352-acre park offering hiking, birding, cross-country skiing, fishing & snowshoeing. He have rods and tackle to rent or buy if you don’t have your own. 

If you’re having a really great time and the kids just don’t want to leave, join us for an evening of sleeping under the stars in the forest at one of our campsites. We also host local Scout Groups, and Appellation Trail hikers. Hikers know that we are located about 1 miles south of the route 9 trail crossing at the Appalachian Market and offer pick up and drop off service from there on weekends. Hudson Valley is a wonderful 4 season go to location and being about an hour away from New York City you won’t spend hours in the car before being able to stretch your legs.

We are a hop-skip to many outdoor activities and situated between the towns of Warwick and Port Jervis - for some of the best LOCAL food, wine, and beer that Orange County, NY has to offer.

Bell Tent Site # 1 has a Full + a Twin mattress which comfortably accommodates 3 guests within. For an additional 2 guests, kindly either bring your own tent to pitch for $65/nt opt rent one from us. (note: interiors may differ slightly)

Safari Tent Site # 2 - Take a respite and fall into this beautifully appointed tent that houses both a Full and Twin bed that comfortably accommodates 3 people. Enjoy premium bedding and vintage collectibles.

Lose yourself in the comfort of our beautiful Safari Tent # 3. It boasts a king-sized bed with premium bedding and a custom Shou Sugi Ban wall. This accommodates 2 adults and a small child seamlessly.

The Sanctuary At Blossom Dell

No car, No problem! We are a hike in-hike out place. If you don't have a car, the easiest way to reach Blossom Dell Sanctuary is to take the short line bus.Please note that owners of the land will be on site.We are not a Commercial Campground.We have multiple camping spots right now with more in the making. Each camping area contains various campsites with and without firepits. Some sit beside the Shawangunk kill, while others are nestled alongside a beautiful and tranquil brook. We also offer camping areas that are not bordered by water. Each campsite within the camping areas are 100 feet or more apart from the other sites in the area.There is a short line bus that goes to Bloomingburg NY from NYC port authority. Ask the driver to stop at 809 Bloomingburg Road, which is in front of the Horse and Sulky Grill. We are only 1/4 mile down York Road, which is across the street from the grill. Our driveway is across the street from a green mailbox.All water sites are NOT exclusive to just the campers at the campsites beside the water. The brook and river are open to all campers until quiet time, which&nbsp;begins at 8 PM and ends at 8 AM.Attractions nearby:-Minnewaska State park preserve-Angry Orchard-Sky Diving-Plane Gliding-Hot air balloon-Bethel Woods-Sam's Point- Ice caves

Camp out in our beautiful 18' tipi&nbsp;handcrafted by a small group of artisans in OR. The&nbsp;tipi is&nbsp;fully equipped with a full-sized futon/bed, couch, chair, mat and a fire pit. See all that Warwick has to offer including hiking trails, lakes, wineries, breweries, cideries&nbsp;and orchards as well as a charming town with lots of shops and restaurants. Come and visit our seasonal healing garden space featuring various vegetable and flower gardens. With heavy rains parts of the tipi may get wet. That being said we have had several guests enjoy their stay despite the rain. We are more flexible with cancellation dependent on weather.

You’ll follow the path through the gate and will easily find the tipi!

The bed is super comfy and we had plenty of blankets. 

Even after a few days of rain the tipi was warm and dry inside.

The composting toilet is located right by the tipi.

Table near the tipi is a peaceful spot to get some work done.

It is super clean and there are instructions for use at the campsite.

There are plenty of spots to sit and hang out around the fire.

This campsite includes a fully furnished tipi, a private outhouse, and place to sit and enjoy our morning coffee outside.

There's a table in the garden that is perfect for getting some work done or having your morning cup.
