Welcome adventurers, inner city adventures await you! We are centralized right in the heart of the city, close to many must see attractions. Kayak (2 person) rental is available. Firepit, charcoal grill and a telescope (by request) are avilailable. Additional add on services are offered if one should enjoy Reiki, card readings and or a homemade warm breakfast ($8-10 per depending on meal). City life from Lincoln and Omaha can feel a little tight sometimes.  Little Rivers Edge is a wonderful spacious campground for the perfect weekend getaway being only 30 minutes down the road.  Just a mile outside of Syracuse gives you all the convenience of the town without any of the crowded feeling.  So...light a fire and play in the river! We hope you enjoy our little piece of heaven and meet some friends along the way.

This custom designed glamping lodge was a dream of mine for a long time. I wanted a place to go to unwind and be with one with nature. But! wanted it close to town so I do not have to travel far and still be close to the city attractions.

The lodge backs up to a large hill--called the Loess Hills. Many deer, raccoon, possum and turkey call it home and so does a few pets of mine to include a mini horse and goat. They just love being adorned by new people. I think you will find this a perfect place for a good nights sleep.

MOST dogs are welcomed -- BUT need to be approved first! before booking. ADDITIONAL FEE REQUIRED&gt;  Walking trails close by!  and restaurants. Verify with host before booking please. The bathroom/shower is located across the yard in the lower level of the main house.

Learn more about this land:Bring your rv and park for the night or for a few days and enjoy all that Omaha has to offer.  We have a world class zoo, incredible state parks, college world series,  and countless incredible bars and restaurants.   Omaha is a hidden gem with everything to offer.  The Iowa border is only 30m away for a quick trip to the casinos or Lincoln is an hour away to catch an infamous Husker game or tour the capitol.  
Like history? See the Lewis and Clark museum down by the river. 
We are easily accessible off a paved road and our field is flat and grassy with plenty of space to park on.
Well behaved dogs on leashes are welcomed. Please know that we have a friendly husky that roams the farm and may come and say hi. She may also react to pets in her space so please watch your furbaby closely.

Omaha Campsite

Small family campground (35 feet or less in length) near Omaha Nebraska with interstate access (I-80, Exit 426) offering extended stay site availability.  Rural setting offers peace and quiet at the end of the day and a campground tailoring to the traveling professional.

NO concrete all rural and natural with limestone roads.  50/30/20Amp service and water at all sites with weekly tank dumps if needed.

Dispersed tent area. Pets are welcome but please keep on leash

The Fence-Post

I am located to the West of Interstate 29 off exit 95 halfway between Omaha, Nebraska and Sioux City, Iowa. It is near where the Little Sioux River meets the Missouri River. There is river access with bank fishing and a boat ramp. The Loess Hills are nearby and the state forest. There are small lakes in the surrounding areas and Lewis and Clark parks with beautiful views.

Main camping alcove.  Big enough for a couple small tents, a large glamping tent or a tear drop trailer.

Rock Creek Retreet Center

We have a very cool .5 mile nature trail that goes through an amazing tree line leading back to a viewing area with an amazing, magical giant Cottonwood Tree.  We also have chickens, horses, cats and dogs to visit while you are here.  There is also an orchard, creeks, and beautiful sunrises and sunsets to enjoy!  Not to mention the beautiful night sky!

(Please note: The horses we foster are here August - May.  They spend the summer at a non-profit kids camp in Ashland.)

We also have a picnic table and campfire site for your use.

Hard to describe.  Must see and experience our nature trail in person.
