The primitive cultural campground serves recreational needs such as campers, bikers and hikers seasonally beginning in the spring and into the early fall. We spent 3 nights in the yurt here. It rained quite a bit and the temperatures got pretty chilly, but the yurt had an electric heater, that kept us more than comfortable. 2 adults, 2 children under 10 and our dog. We had plenty of room outside to cook and hang out. The yurt was thoughtfully arranged to feel plenty spacious and comfortable for the 5 of us. You cannot beat the location of this hipcamp. We spent 3 days in the park, but it is conviently close to Kalispell and Whitefish as well. We will definitely stay again.

The site fit my needs for a place to camp while reffing soccer at the nearby Smith fields. The two sites are next to each other, but the other one was empty so I had plenty of privacy. The toilets were clean even if one was about out of paper. You can hear highway 40 due to the proximity, but it was not bad just some white noise. I would return.

Fantastic site with great views and lots of animals around. Easy to find and big enough to feel completely private. Thr owner Clyde was able to give us a ride to Many Glacier with super short notice when our shuttle was a no show. It was our last day in the area and Grinnel was supposed to be the highlight of our entire trip. Clyde really saved our vacation!

Wooooow! Awesome scenery and just so quiet. A good place to get away from the world and enjoy peace and quiet. Clyde is very nice and cares about your stay, even came to check in on us. Mad I made reservations after this because I would have just stayed here for awhile.

This was a great place to camp outside of Glacier National Park. It's close to the entrance, and he has plenty of space on the land to be away from other campers. We had a little bit of a hard time finding it, I think I misunderstood his directions, but we ended up at a house and a man came out (I'm assuming it was Clyde) and he told us where to go. He was super friendly and gave us advice on where to go for a good view.

Clyde's land is the perfect place to stay if you truly want to be off grid. It is wide open and beautiful. Nothing around but a few horses in the distance. My pups and I very much enjoyed the quiet and peaceful evening.

Clyde’s land is beautiful and perfect for anyone looking to hike in Glacier! The campsite was super private yet still very close to the St Mary’s and Two Medicine entrances to the park. I highly recommend staying at this incredible campsite!

Clyde's land is incredible! We were one of two campers on his land and we really didn't notice the other campers at all. You can park anywhere you want and the views are incredible. We picked a site up on a hill so that we had 360 views. We got an incredible sunset. In the morning the sunrise was incredible and I woke up to horses outside our van. Later on we watched two grizzly bears foraging on one of the hills, we sat and watched them for a few hours. Clyde's dogs also joined us for breakfast, they are the sweetest pups. The stars at night are unreal, you won't get that view anywhere else. This is by far one of my favorite sites ever, the experience was so peaceful and just all around amazing. Its about 20 minutes to the St. Mary entrance of Glacier and 30-40 minutes to the Two Medicine entrance. We found the location super convenient! Thanks again Clyde!
