Located in the back of our Glacier Hip Camp Tent Sites, this spot is secluded with plenty of shade and song birds. You'll see glimpses of the lake on the property through the pines. Also included on the site is a fire pit, wood picnic table, and full hook up for electric (20 amp 120 plug, 30 amp 120 plug, and a 50 amp 240 plug - 25 amps max draw), water and sewer. The Basecamp site is located in a tree lined area and requires backing in. Please arrive during daylight hours to be able to back into this site. Max vehicle length (Truck and Trailer) is 35 Feet. Your dog must be kept in a secure place and not be allowed to run around freely unattended or keep them close to your party, if any property damage or animal lose is due to your dog you will incur more fees I also do have a small play structures for kids to play on. This is a private land of fun and peace, so if you want lots of land and space to stretch your legs and bring your toys (off road vehicles) and boats or animals to ride and and stay 5 mins from the lake to swim, 1 hour from the National Park and get away from the crowed camp grounds, this is your place

We loved our stay at Basecamp! We had a little trouble finding it but Jake was super helpful! Backing into our spot was a little hairy but it was absolutely amazing! Wonderful views and very peaceful/quiet. We loved having our own space but also being close to GNP. We will definitely be back!

I had an amazing stay at Ryan’s campsite! The accommodations were perfect—comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully set up. My horse had plenty of space to roam and relax, which was a huge plus. Ryan was an outstanding host—he went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. He offered so many helpful suggestions for things to do in the area, which really enhanced my trip. And to top it off, he even installed a fantastic outdoor shower during my stay! I highly recommend his property to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-cared-for spot, especially if you're traveling with horses.

The camping area was clean, neat and inviting. It was clear where to stay and the ground was level. I walked down the road a bit as I could hear a stream and was able to enjoy the view. I had planned on setting my tent up but it was too wet and raining off and on. Michael offered to let me stay in the tent site that was already set up, which was very generous of him. I have car camped before so I slept in my car for the night. It was a quiet area with very little noise from other areas. I enjoyed my stay!

My sister and I stayed here for the weekend while we were visiting for the music festival and this was the perfect little spot to sleep! Nearby to everything but tucked away in the woods. We loved hearing the water nearby and seeing all the wildlife and flowers. It’s near the house but we didn’t see anyone at all and felt totally comfortable. Michael was a great host! Will be back for sure.

If you want peace so deep and beautiful that you can feel your own breath, please go to Ryan’s farm! The site is level and gorgeous and private. It’s nestled among so many trees! I had the pleasure of hanging out with Ryan on his farm. He showed me around, I met his four adorable pigs, said hello to his chickens, and Ryan walked me up a trail nearby so that I could have a more stunning view. I could hardly believe that could be possible! Ryan is a gentle soul who sweetly opened his gorgeous land to this wandering traveler, alone in Montana, but he welcomed me with open arms, and said if I needed anything to just come up to the house and he was there to help. I have been on the road for 7 months and that was the best night’s sleep I have had so far! It is miles off the beaten path and all you can hear is your soul and an occasional bird. Experience Montana like she deserves to be experienced:for her quiet beauty, breathtaking Mountain views, and in the warm embrace of a Montana soul who just wanted to give this traveler a soft, safe landing for one night. Thank you Ryan! I will never forget you and the beauty that surrounds you.
