If you are looking for quietude, this is your spot! Twenty acres situated minutes from lakes, rivers and US Forest Service land. Partly forested and partly pasture land, we boast Aspen, Fir and Pine trees. Other wildlife that pass through include coyote, elk, deer and badger. Lots of bird life from woodpeckers and blue jays to eagles and owls. Fuel, groceries and river access available a short fifteen minute drive away. Lake access is only twenty minutes to the closest, Murphy Lake. Half a dozen other lakes within a thirty minute range. We have a campfire ring set up at your RV/Camp site and camp wood is available. You have fresh, potable water on site as well as electric hook-up. No RV dump available. We are pet friendly! Since we do have neighbors and wildlife, we require pets to be leashed when not secured in our fenced area. We are located outside of the range of cell service when on-site however we do have wifi available at the host cabin.

Our property offers two Full RV sites and two tiny cabin rentals. The RV's can be reserved here on Hipcamp and the cabins are available on VRBO #2432106 or #2432361 for reservations. The RV sites have water, sewer, and electric hook-up(s) 15ft or less from your unit so please make sure your connections are long enough. Perched at the edge of wilderness areas, national forests, and timberlands but just off a main road, you find yourself transported into the wild in a short drive! The property is frequented daily by all types of wildlife and is hugged by TWO mountain ranges. The homestead is managed in a permaculture design with back-to-Eden and HuglekulUtr gardens to have minimal impact on the land. Or if you are up for a scenic drive you can venture to visit the Yaak Falls, Kootenai Falls, Ross Creek Cedars, Baldy Lookout, Schweitzer Ski Resort, and much more. Here at our little offgrid homestead you have choice of tent camping in the forest or tent/van/car/rv camping in our field next to the Larch grove and Timberland property. With the river close by eagles are frequently soaring overhead. Turkey, deer, and elk are passing through daily. And there is no neighbors to be seen except our small chicken flock and you may be greeted by Buddy the Dog! Although if you are not a dog person feel free to let us know and we will accommodate you! If you have any questions about local activities, we'll happily provide you with great ideas and directions. Farm fresh eggs and firewood available for purchase and 5 gallons of non-potable water available with use of provided offgrid foot pump sink. Please note there is no cell service. If you want peace and minimal contact we can email everything in advance to have your accommodations met upon arrival and if you want to stop and chat about local activities or the offgrid homestead life just say the word; we're happy to be hosting you and want to make your experience a good one in any way we can! Groups welcome! There are several locations where you can camp separately or together. RVs limited to dry seasons May-September due to road conditions. While we are not far off the main road our road and drive require 4x4 October - April.

You can hike the trails, go out to dinner, be gone for a long day and know your furry family member is well taken care of with on-site doggie care. Booking is available to book under EXTRAS (please book in advance). -ABOUT THE SITE: You will have a large, heavily shaded space with a yard: picnic table with tablecloth, chairs, umbrella; gas grill; hammock; firepit with chairs; outdoor shower with heat-on-demand. We have two driveways, one in the front of the property where you will enter, it is exclusively yours. In the back, there is another driveway/entrance that comes in from another street. This private residence is shared with the owner's residence and a guest cabin. RV/Camper must have a toilet. While we do not have disposal on site, there are two conveniently located RV dumping stations, one 4 miles directly north in Whitefish and one 7 miles directly south in Kalispell. LOCATION: At the edge of Glacier National Park in the Northern Rocky Mountains is a vibrant town built around a shared appreciation of the wild. From the mountains rich with forests, lakes and rivers to the welcoming downtown, this is a place worth exploring and protecting for all those who love it. We are a suburban half-acre, heavily wooded lot conveniently located 10 minutes south of downtown WHITEFISH and 12 minutes north of the hub of KALISPELL. We are only a 25-minute drive to GLACIER NATIONAL PARK. 12 minutes to WHITEFISH LAKE BEACH. 25 minutes to FLATHEAD LAKE BEACH and 15 minutes to LES MASON STATE PARK/BEACH (where dogs are allowed). WHITEFISH MOUNTAIN RESORT is a 20-minute drive up the mountain. A ski resort in the winter, there is a lot to do in the summer: Zip lines, mountain biking, slides for the kids and more - SkiWhitefish.com. The CANADIAN BORDER is only 60 miles north. Charming downtown WHITEFISH has music in the park, great restaurants and shops, a golf course and, a river runs through it for paddle boarding, and kayaking. The WHITEFISH DOG PARK is a sprawling, 5-acre dog park in a picturesque setting with stunning views of mountains, passing trains, wide open space for lots of play areas, beach & pond, picnic tables, wheelchair accessible, fully accessible paved paths, benches, a drinking fountain for dogs and people, community pavilion, small dog area, agility course, dog wash station and trees. There are HIKING TRAILS ONLY 4 BLOCKS FROM THE SITE, suitable for mountain bikers, children and is very dog friendly. Booking must have a 24-hour notice, no same-day bookings. Please note that we are not far from Highway 93 so you can hear the traffic. If you are looking for a super quiet, isolated site far from activity, this may not be the best fit for you.
