Note: We have a Bonners Ferry, ID mailing address but our physical location is approximately 30 miles North of Bonners Ferry and 1 mile South of Eastport, ID. We are a mile South of the Canadian Border just off US 95. Also, please note: Our tent campsite and RV campsite have separate booking sites but share the same shelter and toilet. If you book either site the "other" booking site is blocked during your stay. You are in a forest on land shaped by the last Ice Age, The forest has nurtured generations of of wildlife including majestic birds of prey. It sustained the Kootenai People before borders separated their lands. It saw determined miners pass this way seeking their fortune in gold from British Columbia. This forest supplied timber to build railroads and homes for families in the western migration. Our family is the current steward of this forest and it is our wish to respectfully share its beauty and observe its wildlife with your family and friends! Our Forest is surrounded by Kaniksu National Forest which is managed by the United States Forest Service (USFS) as part of the Idaho Panhandle. National Forest.. The Moyie River ( say Moy-yay) has headwaters at Moyie Lake in British Columbia and feeds into the Kootenai River (say Koo-ten-e) just East of Bonners Ferry. The Moyie River is 95 miles long. The area is private, so there is no view of the neighbors. You’ll have a broken view of the Host’s Cabin. Camp is situated on 15.4 acres of Certified Family Forest. If you hear the rumble of a train at night, it's because the Union Pacific passes along the opposite edge of the property from the campsites. There is no mobile phone service at the campsite . There is WiFi at the campsite shelter. We strongly suggest you activate the “Cell over WiFi “ function on your smartphone BEFORE you arrive/lose cell signal so you can access Emergency 911 Services. There is a fire pit (firewood provided), covered shelter, a USFS-style charcoal grill, (bring charcoal and starter), picnic table, benches, bear-proof food storage box and TEMPORARY trash bin. Please plan to "pack-out" all of your trash and recyclables. There are a lot of deer roaming the property, along with many birds and other wildlife . OUR NIGHTLY CHARGE Includes all the firewood you need and a 10% Hipcamp Service Fee. It does not include 6% Idaho Sales Tax and 2% Idaho Convention and Travel Tax. Be Bear Aware : From April 1 - November 1 all food, beverages and trash must never be left unattended and, all of the same, be stored properly. Our Bear Box is large and can accommodate your supplies and cooler.

The lake has a great beach front for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, etc. There's a boat launch 3 miles away for bigger boats or pontoons. My property also provides direct access to hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, horse trail riding, biking, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling. Want to bring your horse? If you are looking for quietude, this is your spot! Twenty acres situated minutes from lakes, rivers and US Forest Service land. Partly forested and partly pasture land, we boast Aspen, Fir and Pine trees. Other wildlife that pass through include coyote, elk, deer and badger. Lots of bird life from woodpeckers and blue jays to eagles and owls. Fuel, groceries and river access available a short fifteen minute drive away. Lake access is only twenty minutes to the closest, Murphy Lake. Half a dozen other lakes within a thirty minute range. We have a campfire ring set up at your RV/Camp site and camp wood is available. You have fresh, potable water on site as well as electric hook-up. No RV dump available. We are pet friendly! Since we do have neighbors and wildlife, we require pets to be leashed when not secured in our fenced area. We are located outside of the range of cell service when on-site however we do have wifi available at the host cabin.

Welcome to Tobie Creek Corner, a peaceful, RV-only campsite nestled right at the edge of the Flathead National Forest. Located at the corner of Tally Lake Road and Tobie Creek Road (NF-2924), this private spot offers the perfect blend of seclusion and accessibility—just 15 minutes from downtown Whitefish and 45 minutes to the entrance of Glacier National Park. The property is filled with towering Fir and Larch trees, and it would not be uncommon to see many deer or the occasional wild turkey or songbirds fluttering around. This site sits on a mostly flat, graveled driveway with plenty of room to park and set up. Surrounded by forest and backed by public land, it's a great basecamp for outdoor adventure. You'll find direct access to mountain biking and hiking trails right off the property, including the Tally Lake Overlook Trail and Stovepipe Trails. Tally Lake, Montana’s deepest lake, is less than 8 miles up the road and offers opportunities for swimming, paddling, fishing, or simply soaking in the quiet beauty. If you head just up Tobie Creek Road, there’s a small, lesser-known fishing hole—a stocked lake with trout and pike that locals love for its peaceful vibe. This is a dry campsite with no hookups or amenities, so please come prepared with your own water and a toilet system. (Tent campers are welcome only if you bring your own composting toilet or bucket toilet setup.) A basic fire ring is available for use when fire restrictions are not in effect—please check current conditions. There's also a simple picnic table and plenty of trees for hammocks. Dry, split firewood is available for purchase just next door from the site at 365 Tally Lake Road. Important Note: There is no cell service at the site. Be sure to download maps and save your directions before leaving service range. Are you looking to to explore North Fork Flathead River area by Polebridge? We have the spot for you! Large enough for camper vans, small campers or a tentsite. Located 8 miles north of Polebridge. Quiet, off grid spot with well water, flushing toilet, hot shower, covered outdoor bar/ kitchen area, picnic tables and fire pit. Yard games, Darts, camp chairs, hammock chairs, firewood all available on site. Starlink wifi available (password and details provided upon request when booked). Things to do: A short hike across the road will lead you to a spectacular overlook of the river and into Glacier Natl. Park. ( Morning coffee at sunrise is a favorite time to view). The property is located on Whale Creek and there is a primitive trail down to the creek. Raft, Kayak, SUP at nearby Put-in to North Fork Flathead River(Ford) 2 miles North. Ford to Polebridge take-out approx. 8 river miles. Great float with mild class 1-2 rapids in a few sections, fantastic fishing and great views of Glacier Natl. Park. Fly fishing North Fork is spectacular, many spots along the river are accessible from North fork Rd. as you drive North Polebridge Mercantile (in Polebridge) has fabulous pastries, bread, hot and cold sandwiches, beer, soda, water, ice, snacks, gifts, etc. Northern Lights Saloon and Eatery is next door with a full bar and great food menu, live music usually in the evenings. Entry into Glacier National Park via Polebridge 8 miles south or the Camas rd. 20 miles south of Squirrel Camp (Please check with Glacier National Park for times and Permits). Please respect our property and neighbors by keeping site clean as you found it and pack out your trash when leaving. BE BEAR AWARE do not leave out food or bear attracts. Amazing new campsites: 3 directly on the banks of NW Montana's famous Blue Ribbon trout stream - the Kootenai River. And 4 campsites in the peaceful forest nearby. All with private access and unobstructed views up and down the river, Yaak Mountain, and the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness. Catch wild rainbow, cutthroat, bull trout, and whitefish only steps from your spot. This stretch of the river has over 4,000 trout per mile and over 900 ft of private fishing with many more miles of stream access up and down the river. Launch your drift boat or pontoon for an easy 6 mile float to the Yaak River pullout. Rides may be available to ferry. We respectfully request catch and release fishing only with artificial lures and flies in order to preserve this precious wild resource. Easy access to many thousand acres of public land for hunting, hiking, fishing, exploring and sightseeing including the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness Area. Whitetail deer, mule deer, elk, moose, lions, grizzly, wolf, and black bear viewing almost daily depending on the season. We see more animals within 10 miles here than the last few times we visited Yellowstone or Glacier Parks! Very basic amenities in a rustic peaceful setting: * 2 water only hookup spots on the river * 4 dry camping areas in the forest * Pets on a leash OK * Please refrain from loud music and generators * There is a waste dump site within 1 mile Access via a 200 yd driveway and 100 yd walk to the river spots.
