The primitive cultural campground serves recreational needs such as campers, bikers and hikers seasonally beginning in the spring and into the early fall. The Home Gun primitive ranch cultural campground also serves as an educational, cultural center for tourists that features Native American storytelling, craft making, dancing and singing. Lisa and Ron were very welcoming. I was traveling in a campervan and enjoyed how peaceful it was out there. I checked out Many Glaciers and St Mary’s very early for hiking and their place was a perfect home base.
I did not have cell service but I didn’t mind at all.

Very peaceful and quiet by the aspen trees overlooking Duck Lake.
Lisa and Rod very welcoming and had everything we needed plus some goodies upon arrival.
Have stayed there twice. So much better than any campground and reasonably priced. Great location to access St. Mary’s and Many Glacier.

Nice, mostly level spot with lake views! Hosts were great! Great location to St. Mary’s, Many Glacier, and Waterton Lakes! We loved the full hookups. The only knock was that we struggled with was the terrible Verizon and AT&T service and the spot really needs strong dedicated WiFi. It’s tough being in a new area on vacation and not having hardly any internet connection. Other than that it was great!

We loved our stay here! It’s a perfect location to explore Glacier NP, and super quiet and serene in the evenings. Unfortunately the lake is drying out so you can’t access it from the property, but it gives a beautiful view. I would recommend this spot to anyone.
