Red Eagle Campground is the closest campground to the Two Medicine Entrance of Glacier National Park, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage. With six electrical sites and 86 primitive campsites, it provides a variety of accommodations for outdoor enthusiasts. Although water is not available at the campsites, visitors can access nearby hiking trails and enjoy fishing, swimming, and kayaking on the lake after checking in at the office. Motorized boats are not permitted, helping preserve the lake’s peaceful atmosphere. Surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Blackfeet Nation, Red Eagle Campground is part of a network that also includes Duck Lake, Buffalo Calf, and Chewing Black Bones campgrounds. Each location offers its own unique features and attractions. Duck Lake Campground is ideal for fishing, kayaking, and birdwatching, providing a tranquil escape surrounded by nature. Buffalo Calf Campground features sweeping mountain views, an informative cultural center, RV hookups, and traditional tipi accommodations, allowing visitors to experience Blackfeet heritage while enjoying modern conveniences. Chewing Black Bones Campground, located along the scenic shores of St. Mary Lake, offers full RV hookups and opportunities for boating, swimming, and fishing, making it an excellent destination for both relaxation and outdoor recreation.
