Nestled on 60 acres you'll find a private campground in a cottonwood grove just across a log bridge over Miner creek. Across the gravel driveway you'll find a second campground that is tucked back in a secluded cottonwood grove, and further down the driveway, you'll find the 3rd campsite. The campgrounds are 5 minutes to the charming historic downtown of Livingston and the Yellowstone River, 20 minutes to Bozeman, 20 mins to Pine Creek Lodge and an hour to Yellowstone National Park. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are friendly to other dogs. Our dogs freely roam the property.
**All sites share an outhouse located in the parking area by the trail to camp #2. It is only onsite from May 15 to Oct 15.
#1: "Creekside Oasis" campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, a hammock, solar lighting, and a small portable charcoal grill. Although you can car camp at # 1, please note that the camper spot is just off the gravel driveway, and not across the creek where the tent site, picnic table and fire pit are located.
#2: "Off the Beaten Path" campsite requires a short 1-2 minute walk on a tight, uneven path through the trees. It is a small campsite with a fire ring, 2 camp chairs and solar lighting. Do NOT rent this tent site if you need to be close to your car. This site is not on the creek. Creek access is down a trail to the left off the parking area.
#3: "Not for the Faint of Heart" campsite is a 2-3 minute walk from the parking spot on an uneven, tight trail through the trees. It has a fire ring, two camp chairs, solar lighting, and a small portable grill. Do NOT rent this tent site unless you are ready to explore and do not need to be close to your car. Make sure you arrive before dark because although the trail is lit by solar lights even with headlamps it can be tricky to find your way through the trees. Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended. The creek is not right by the tent site like it is in campsite #1. There is a small break in the bushes that gives creek access.
*For all sites we recommend storing your food in your vehicle overnight.

There are two rooms in the cabin. Dining table, kitchen supply hutch & wood stove in the main room.Two queen beds, a small cot in the bedroom. There is one chandelier and 1 outlet in each room.
There is one extra cabin with one queen bed available for an additional fee. It is 4 feet from the homestead. It is only available for use by guests of the homestead cabin, so it is private.
There is a gorgeous new shower house built in 2023. It provides a large walk in shower, vanity and sink, outlet and standard flush toilet.
Candles, oil lanterns, propane for the BBQ grill, campfire ring, camp chairs, wood stove, towels, hot springs & river towels, bedding, pots, pans, utensils, basic camp supplies are all included! There is a separate shack with an electrical outlet, toaster oven, electric coffee pot, percolator, a single electric burner for the cooking supplies. There are 3 other rentals on this property. Each cabin has 1 - 1.5 acres of private use and are generously spaced out.The Homestead cabin is bordered by Little Trail Creek and the house pasture. There are 5 horses on site. Absorkee Wilderness is in the back yard with thousands of miles of hiking trails. This is a Glamping experience. There my be wildlife - including bears, elk, deer, bugs or field mice at anytime. We have tried to preserve the Homestead cabin as much as possible to its original state. There are elk, deer, birds and other native wildlife on the property daily.

We stayed at campsite 1. Very lovely place with 2 relaxing hammocks. Big fireplace with some chairs around it and pretty string lights. Louis the dog came down and spent some quality time with us at campsite and was super chill.

What a great spot!! After staying at the hot springs for two nights it was WONDERFUL to pull into Stacie’s spot! So quiet with room all around you. The views of both the Gallatin and Bridger mountains is to die for! I pulled up next to her rv (just parked there, no one in it), my 20’ 50 amp cord didn’t reach the outlet tho. She had a standard 120 I could have used but I had a 30 amp extension cord with.
I rode my bike just a mile to the local steak joint and had an amazing burger AND desert! Pizza place is there also. I’d go back in a flash!

It was lovely! We were close to Yellowstone and close to town to go out to eat if we didn’t want to cook at camp. The sound of the creek was peaceful. When we first pulled up, we thought we saw a bear, but it was a dog named Louis. He helped us unpack when we first got there and kept us company for a bit. ☺️
There are two ways to get to the site which is by walking over the logs or going on a mini trail path.

Cool camping spot on private land near Livingston. Far enough away from the freeway so you don't hear traffic noise. I stayed in camp #1 with my camper trailer. A little bit tight parking in the spot but do-able. A timber bridge separates the firepit and grill from the rest of the space. The bridge is probably not great for people with balance issues or little kids. But me and my dog loved it. Firepit area is very shaded and has lots of string lighting and also hammocks.
All in all a fun and unique camping spot. Would definitely stay again!

What a sweet, well conceived, well maintained and thoughtfully carved out little place Jenny has created on her property. Made me think of the little hideaway's I created in the woods as a child. Wandering down a short path to a perfect retreat - wish we’d been able to stay longer.

A friend of mine and I stopped by on our way across country and John and Sheila’s Gome Home was absolutely a highlight! Their property is not only absolutely beautiful with lots of cute and friendly animals roaming around but also conveniently located next to Yellowstone National Park and the nearby town. Will be visiting again on our next time through the area.

Site 1 at Jenny’s was a perfect spot for a small trailer and tent. The tent was back in the wooded area which was shaded and cool. The hammocks and picnic table were very appreciated! There are two paths to get to the tent area so if walking across the trees doesn’t suit you there is an alternative path. The only negative is they are close to the road and railroad. Not something Jenny can prevent but definitely bring ear plugs. The train runs all night and the road is utilized much of the early morning/day. Otherwise a great spot to get to lots of activities.

Cute and secluded, right by the creek but it was too marshy to use for water. Bugs were not terrible though. The path to the campsite was so much fun! It was the perfect campsite for my weekend get away😁
