Relax in your cozy yurt with stunning views of the Bridger and Crazy Mountains! Just 10 minutes from Livingston, 35 minutes to Bozeman, and one hour from Yellowstone Park, our eco-farm retreat offers a blissfully quiet setting with amazing views, incredible stargazing, and optional up-close encounters with our farm animals. Unwind on the deck at the picnic table or take a stroll around the property to meet our friendly emus, sheep, chickens and goose!. The site is set on open prairie land, just a short 50-yard walk from your parking spot, and includes your very own luxury, odor-free composting toilet. Drinking water is provided, but please note there is no shower at this time. A solar-powered generator is available for charging devices or powering the hot plate for cooking. A propane barbecue is also available on the deck for your use! Access to the property is on a dirt road that can be rough at times. It is fully accessible in a 2wd vehicle but higher clearance is sometimes helpful and more comfortable. I live on the property in the house with my wife, Magali, and one or both of us may be present during your stay. This cute 14’ yurt is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable yet rustic glamping experience. Inside you’ll find a queen-size futon with fresh sheets, pillows, and blankets, plus a small kitchen setup with a hot plate, utensils, pots and pans, paper towels, and a kitchen island for preparing simple meals. A solar generator powers charging devices and cooking essentials, and we also provide a solar lantern, drinking water, and basic comforts to make your stay easy and relaxing. Step outside onto your private deck to enjoy meals at the picnic table or cook dinner on the propane barbecue while taking in sweeping views of the Bridger Range and the Crazy Mountains. Sunrises and sunsets here are hard to beat! Just beside the yurt is your own private luxury composting toilet (waterless and eco-friendly). Please note there is currently no shower available but we do have an outdoor sink for dishwashing or freshening up. Our small eco farm is home to chickens, ducks, a goose, sheep, emus, and other friendly animals. Guests are welcome to wander the property, meet the animals, and enjoy a slower pace of life on the farm. Depending on the season, we may also have fresh eggs and garden vegetables available for purchase. This is a working farm, so you may hear animals, see farm chores happening, and encounter electric fencing in some areas. We’re always happy to answer questions and help you enjoy the experience safely!
