Big Hole Boondockin' is located in Southwest Montana along the beautiful banks of the Big Hole River. River View Livestock, a 300 acre working cattle ranch, surrounds our camping areas which gives you the opportunity to enjoy a real Montana ranch experience. If you're not into the ranch lifestyle, hop on a raft, inner tube or kayak and float down the river enjoying a cold beverage. We also offer bank fishing on our private property.  

Stressed?  Book some time with our emotional support animals and snuggle one of the pigs or cows to take some stress out of your life. These animals are part of our family and love to sit and relax with humans, begging for belly scratches and giving kisses.  

The cell service & wi-fi are very iffy here. T-Mobile works great. If you have Verizon or AT&T you will not have service right at the campsite. You may have to walk or drive a bit to get a signal or the local restaurant & bar has free wi-fi for patrons.

Hidden Meadow Ranch

Small irrigated ranch in the Deer Lodge Valley, surrounded by mountains, access to public lands and beautiful scenery. East side of acreage has the Clark Fork River running through it, even though the neighbors are close still lots of privacy.

Pitch your tent or park your RV on a very basic flat field with 360 views all around, (note my River camp site and access to the River is closed due to state reclaimation and cleanup of the River). Site is 7 miles from Deer Lodge, MT. Small fire pit, not great but available for guests unless fireban is on during dry conditions short drive to several acres of public ground, ATV access, hiking, and mountain biking and fishing This is an 80-acre working ranch with cows, irrigation and hay so you may have to drive through the cows and there will be cowpies :-). Great cell service and private property on both sides, easy access to campsite. 10-minute drive to historic Grant Kohrs Ranch, old prison museum and many other unique Montana experiences.

4D Ranch

Unigue quiet tipi set on the edge Pintler National Forest, Anaconda Montana.  Good location to unplug and recharge. There is no cell service  at the property.(off grid)  The property does have a outhouse, portable water and fire ring.  Incredble views of Mount Haggin and surrounding mountain range.  Short drive to Twin Lake Trailhead, Georgetown Lake and the Town of Anaconda. Twin Lakes Trailhead(3miles from tipi) open up opportunities to hike into several high alpine lakes and access the Continental Divid Trail.  You can hike right off the property onto Forest Service roads and trails. Fishing and boating at Georgetown Lake. A wonderful location between Yellowstone National Park and Glaicer National Park. 

I'm a outdoor, horse enthusiast doglover Montana woman.  I'm sharing my property because this is where I go to unwind and relax. Unload the horse,unload the dog and leave the phone in the truck.  The tipi location is in the mountains and primitive road getting to the tipi. Recommend a a high clearance vehicle. Dog friendly tipi please be consider and be a responsible dog owner.

White Bridge Lane Private Campsite

Dawson Family Ranch is a family-run business with a focus on sustainable land and agriculture practices. The ranch is located along a mile of the Boulder River between the Elkhorn and Bull Mountain Ranges.  The river offers fishing for rainbow and brown trout.  Public land access is within a short drive (2-7 miles depending on direction) and offers different recreational opportunities including hiking, hunting, and motorized recreation.   Boulder Hot Springs is less than 4 miles away.

Boulder Creek Lodge

Located in a valley halfway between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, you’ll find Boulder Creek Lodge and RV Park. Our place is special for what surrounds it, but it’s also special for what we have right here on the property.

We offer travelers RV sites (with hookup), camping sites, and ten fully furnished, clean and comfortable cabins, Tipis and Conestoga Wagon for the glamping (glamorous camping) experience.  Linens provided for cabins, tipis and wagon.  Guests have access to the shower house (showers, toilets, sinks) with laundry facilities (2 coin-op washers - 2 dryers), property playground, and the Lodge with game room, sitting room, communal kitchen and recently updated bathrooms/showers.  All guests are welcome to use horseshoe pit, community fire pits and wi-fi access.

Our guests can unplug, kick back, and relax with their families in one of the country's most beautiful locations.

BAR - 01 Ranch

The BAR 0 1  hipcamp is brand new The bar 01 hip camp will be closed for the winter months starting October 1st will reopen April 1st which features  approximately 60 acres of beautifully secluded campsites situated around a 2 acre reservoir. Property is conveniently located 3 miles from the intersection of I-90 and I-15.

Directions:

• West on I-90 from the intersection of I-90 and I-15 2 miles to the Ramsay exit 216.

• Continue West on N Ramsay Rd 1 mile to 805 N Ramsay Rd.

• Turn right onto the upper gravel road and continue north 1/2 mile to the campsites. 

Camping sites:

• No tents, self contained only

• Numbers 1 through 4 will accommodate large RVs or motorhomes.

Other things to note:

• Large spaces

•No electric, water, or sewage.

•No trash pickup

• Pack-it-in, Pack-it-out 

All campers must be able to provide for themselves.

(Road to Ringing Rocks theres a sign Pipestone Ringing rocks RV and Cabins with red arrow pointing east follow it for about a 1 1/2 miles crossing 3 cattle gaurds and a railroad track go another 50 yards and there a gate # 234 on post  and the RV spots are just past the cabins.
enjoy the views and to take in the fresh Montana air there's also a fire pit (fire wood for sale)  and a picnic table set up (  potable Water fill  available, there are no public  Bathrooms  so Rv must have Bathrooms in them) ,for you and your family to enjoy a nice outing and look at the Montana stars in Big Sky country

there are also hundreds of miles of trails to enjoy

utv,dirt bike,peddle bike.  or just a nice nature  walk all these trails are shared in them

Angler's Paradise

An acre of riverfront property along the legendary Big Hole River! You can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the mountain views, listen to the ripples from the Big Hole and fish right off the property! A great lot to bring your camper and have easy access to wade fishing along the river and right by the Silver Bridge boat launch! 

Long Dog Lodge Tent/Car/Van Camping

Open primitive camping with dispersed sites. Water is available on the property. There are no toilet facilities.

Located between Butte and Anaconda, Montana, near Garrison, Montana. The property is directly off I-90 at Exit 211, offering easy access and the best views of Mount Haggin, Mount Evans, and the Pintler Range. 

Nearby attractions include the Pintler Wilderness, Lost Creek State Park, Warm Springs Protected Wetlands and Bird Sanctuary, Deerlodge National Forest, and the Big Hole River, with world-class fly fishing less than an hour away. The site is approximately three hours north of both the North and West entrances to Yellowstone National Park and four hours south of Glacier National Park.

The largest historical district in America is located in Butte, while Anaconda offers a charming, Mayberry-style experience rich in history. Both cities feature restaurants, retail stores (local and national chains), and historical interpretation centers.

This is a perfect spot for comfortable tent, car, or van camping while traveling between parks or exploring this incredible area.

Beaverhead River RV Pad

Come spend some time with us on the Beaverhead River! Our small family wants to share our slice of heaven with you all.  

The RV Pad is 27 ft long and can typically fit up to a 45 ft trailer. A 30 AMP hookup is available with water supplied and a waste hookup available. 

You will need to provide all of the waste disposal/sewer hose necessary to hookup to the waste disposal as well as your electrical cord to hookup to the 30 amp outlet. 

My husband and I live on the property with our 1 year old and our mid size dog. Dogs are welcome with the understanding that the property is not fenced in and that our dog may establish some boundaries with your dog as she is an unfixed alpha female. We live in the log cabin next to the the RV pad and are currently renovating the house on the property. The RV pad is about 100 feet from the Beaverhead River where you have full access to recreate and fish. This property is on the eastern edge of Dillon and just upstream from Selway Bridge. Many birds migrate through here in the Summer time and are a joy to watch on bank of the river. There is a large fire pit on the property that may be used as long as it is not very windy out and you put the fire out after you are done. I will tell you that you cannot have a fire if it is too windy. 

The property is next to a property with horses and we have have few chickens that roam around our property. I do not want you on the property with dogs if they are going to go after the chickens or if they are obnoxious barkers.
