Unigue quiet tipi set on the edge Pintler National Forest, Anaconda Montana. Good location to unplug and recharge. There is no cell service at the property.(off grid) The property does have a outhouse, portable water and fire ring. Incredble views of Mount Haggin and surrounding mountain range. Short drive to Twin Lake Trailhead, Georgetown Lake and the Town of Anaconda. Twin Lakes Trailhead(3miles from tipi) open up opportunities to hike into several high alpine lakes and access the Continental Divid Trail. You can hike right off the property onto Forest Service roads and trails. Fishing and boating at Georgetown Lake. A wonderful location between Yellowstone National Park and Glaicer National Park. I'm a outdoor, horse enthusiast doglover Montana woman. I'm sharing my property because this is where I go to unwind and relax. Unload the horse,unload the dog and leave the phone in the truck. The tipi location is in the mountains and primitive road getting to the tipi. Recommend a a high clearance vehicle. Dog friendly tipi please be consider and be a responsible dog owner. Please call before leaving cell service. Will give detailed driving directions.

The tipi site takens you back to camping in the outdoors. Pit toilet, showerhouse(hot and cold water), fire ring, and picnic table. 1 queen bed and a futon. Wonderful views and access to hiking trails. Twin Lakes Trailhead is an easy short drive, 3 miles. Pack a lunch and choose between Twin Lakes or Four Mile Basin to hike into. Great fishing at those 2 lakes. Access to the CDT.

The 2 dog cabin offers peace and quiet and incredible views of Mt. Haggin. You can enjoy a cup of coffee on the front deck or a nice glass of wine on the back porch watching the sunset. The 2 Dog cabin has a loft with a queen bed and there is a futon on the main floor. Please bring your sleeping bags or bedding. Small kitchette with a kitchen table, Stove and oven. This is a off grid cabin(no running water, no electricity) provided is propane lantern, old fashsion oil lamps and flaslights. Two beautiful deck to sit on and relax. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind, no cell service, no TV and no internet. Perfectly located 8 miles from Anaconda, MT and 8 miles from Georgetown Lake, MT. The property border National Forest. Enjoy hiking right off the property or drive to Twin Lakes Trailhead to access some incredible mountain lakes, short drive to Georgetown Lake and Philpsburg, MT.

The Tipi at 4D Ranch

My fiancé and I stayed here after playing golf in Anaconda and we were so glad we stumbled upon it while looking for a place to stay overnight! The tent was perfect, enough space for us and our 2 dogs, quiet, and the views were amazing. We even built a little fire and enjoyed the stars at night. The sunrise was great waking up to the next day as well. Would stay here again!

Beautiful Views, Cozy Snooze

The Tipi at 4D Ranch

We loved staying on Denise’s land! The tipi was cute, cozy, and very comfortable, just what we need after a long day of driving. She even made sure there was a little heater for us when we got there. We arrived after dark and had no problem finding it with Denise’s directions. The only issue was our 2WD car couldn’t make it all the way up the hill, but thats on us for not reading the 4WD recommendation in the description. Everything worked out and the stars were AMAZING. We wish we could’ve stayed longer, but we did catch a gorgeous sunrise on our way out and are grateful for our time spent at Denise’s land.

Quick overnighter - top notch!

The Tipi at 4D Ranch

This place is amazing. Pics don’t do it justice. We stayed in the tipi. We were running very late and arrived after 10 pm lol. Complete darkness. The directions got us there! If you’re looking for stars- this is the place! Comfy bed in the tipi made for a fun night. Next morning we were treated to the most amazing sunrise ever. Seriously. You think you’ve seen a sunrise? Nope. Not till you see one here.

View was great, tipi was very comfortable and a really neat place to stay. Roads were VERY rough getting to the site. There wasn't any water available that I could find, but we packed in plenty of our own. No cell service whatsoever and we were alone which was very nice.

Fun but not quite as described

The Tipi at 4D Ranch

Not quite what we had expected from the photos and description. We were surprised that there was a rental cabin less than 25 meters from the tipi site. Fortunately the folks in the cabin were alright. Nice views. The promised shower was not in place during our stay although we can see it is in the works. Toilet is a porta-potty shared with the cabin. The spring water is not on the property. You have to drive out of the property and down the road a bit. We were there in a heat wave and there is really no shade available but overall the experience was unique.
