We live on a small paradise covering 2 acres. We have plenty of space for 33' foot campers, tents, vans, etc. Our backyard has been designed to accommodate families and the single nomads. We are a small hobby farm with a dog, chickens, a small fruit orchard, vineyard, and garden!! On the north end of the property we created a playground with a jungle gym, swings, trampoline, playhouses, outside polyjohn/toilet, and a 16' pool. This property is pet friendly but be warned we do have a large dog (very friendly)! We have power to support smaller 20amp campers with water and a dump station.

The pasture is quite visible from Old Route 66, nearly adjoining it. Therefore people traveling “the Mother Road” find it convenient to stay with us. Grass is the best forage for horses, especially older ones, so we take care of our pastures, making for beautiful scenery for campers, too. Plus the entire back mile is bordered by old forest. And there is a swimming hole not a half mile away.
This is a quiet and private site, bordered by a neighbor's old forest on back, other neighbor's cattle pasture on side, and you're in one of the pastures used by the Horse Sanctuary. (You are camping about 1/4 mile, more or less, from our house.)
We regularly see coyote, wild turkeys, deer, fireflies, and the like.
We are just 1/2 mile off Old Route 66, therefore there are quirky little museums and great restaurants (for such a rural area!).
Plus we are only about an hour's drive from Branson. MO. which is a known tourist attraction.

3) The Cicada season usually starts in May. We recommend earplugs if that sound bothers you.
4) During heavy rain, there is a seasonal creek leading to the back of the property that can be difficult to pass without a 4X4. If you aren't driving a 4x4, park closer to the house on the gravel driveway.
5) There is a walking trail around the perimeter of the property.

As usual, my stay was great. This time I availed myself of the on site A frame and it's electrial outlets to keep me cool in the oppressive heat of this past few days. Having that little sleeping cabin tucked away back under the shade of the trees and out of the sun was the only thing that saved the trip from being unbearable due to the weather. My best friend and I decided to go camping for the weekend on very short notice. We found this spot which was so nice and pretty. The creek wrapped around the campsites. The water is so clear and refreshingly cold. It might even be a spring. There is a beautiful sunflower field that is just a glorious backdrop at sunrise and sunset. The campsite is very spacious and private. It was a great weekend. Very relaxing and Ann and Dave were super friendly and worked around our tardiness getting there. Over all one of the prettiest campsites I’ve ever been to! I plan to go back soon but with a bigger group this time!! 10/10 recommend!
