This remote primitive campground is between Kingston and Compton, Arkansas. in the Ozark Mountains of the Boston plateau. The wooded 15 acres is nestled just above a scenic bluff looking south. You can set your tent on our grassy knoll or find a random spot anywhere under our hardwoods or pines. There is one designated gravel site pad for a mid size trailer.
The only roads to Spoken N’ Tru are gravel. I highly recommend taking the gravel route from Kingston. This particular gravel road is 5 miles. If you are pulling a camper this is definitely the best. There is another longer 8 mile option from 412 - south from Dryfork in between Marble and Ozark. The shortest route if from 103 but it has a deep creek crossing and don't recommended unless you have a good 4 wheel vehicle.
The best road to Ponca is County Road 1300 which takes you to Highway 43.
Please keep in mind that Spoke N’ Tru is a cozy but primitive camping site with no amenities so be ready to check your electronics before heading down our gravel roads. Lastly, please read amenity notes, especially regarding waste.

Close to Hobbs State Park Conservation Area, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art(from Rockwell to Warhol and everything in between); War Eagle Mill and Caverns, Museum of Native American History, The Walmart Museum, Eureka Springs, just a short 40min. drive to Bentonville airport (XNA). Please remember if you "pack it in then pack it out", and absolutely no glass.

This spot is something truly special. The bluff, the quiet woods, and the feeling of total seclusion made it one of the best camping experiences we’ve ever had. The stars were incredible at night, and the fire pits added the perfect touch. Plus, it’s not too far from Hawksbill Crag, which made exploring the area even better. Super private spot that really feels out in the middle of nowhere. The cliffside view was amazing and made the whole stay special. The site was clean and well kept, and the wood floor made setting up camp super easy. Almost no traffic near the campsite and it's a perfect place to relax and take in the scenery. Definitely will come back later.

Spectacular view, cozy, private. It was a great stay and so much to do around Buffalo River and other state parks. Eden Falls is an absolute must! Just don't take Stoverville Road all the way! We did & it was great but only if you have a 4WD truck or other off-road vehicle! Newton County is a dry county so if you like adult beverages, bring your own. Same with food, bring enough and any special condiments. Ronald supplies cookware, etc. Comfy bed too!

Beautiful, private property with amazing views from the bluff. We loved our stay here. It's secluded and private with plenty of room to explore and then to relax. Lots of shade from the hardwood / pine mixed forest. Great places to hang a hammock with a view. Not far from beautiful hiking, mt biking and floating along the Buffalo River. Come prepared with all you need and get ready to enjoy the beauty and peace of nature. We can't wait to go back!
