Just across from our main entrance take the half-mile trail through Mark Twain National Forest and skip rocks on the Huzzah Creek! Ask us about access to our private gravel bar on the Huzzah. You will pass it, and the private parking, on Dillard Mill Rd on your drive into Pine Valley We may or may not be on the premise during individual rentals. If there are any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out. Other things to note While this space provides most utilities and amenities you'd find at your home, it is important to note it is still a camping-style getaway. We do our best to treat the area, but you will encounter insects. AT&T has limited cell phone reception in the area, Sprint is very spotty, and Verizon is pretty much unavailable for service. We provide the best free wifi available to help with communication back to the real world, but it is rather slow. The best wifi reception is near the General Store/Courtyard. We try and keep the area well maintained. You may see ATVs/tractors on our property and on the gravel road. Pets are welcome for an extra $50 per stay. Please note our dogs may be on the property. They are friendly and well-behaved, although sometimes curious. Other guests may have no-leash pets as well. Park right next to your glamper. Arrive anytime after 4pm, just give us an eta to know when to expect you. If your glamper is not ready upon your arrival, feel free to explore our farm, visit Dillard Mill or head down to the Huzzah while we make it ready for your stay. Lake Perry Campground was established in July, 2024. We are located just outside the main gates of Lake Perry. Lake Perry is a private, gated, lake community that is only accessible by lot owners and their guests. Lake Perry Campground offers 17 full hookup sites consisting of public water, 70 amp electric, and public sewer. 9 sites are pull through lots that are 25' wide x 35' long, and 8 back-in lots ranging from 25-60' wide and 30-100' long. Two buddy lots (camper & tent) are available as well. We also have 1 tent lot with 20 amp electric and water. Completed in August 2025, is a 30' x 50' pavilion with restrooms (2 toilets) and (1) floor to ceiling tile shower in each restroom. A tankless hot water heater was installed for endless hot water. Also available late winter/early spring 2026 is a 400 square foot studio cabin featuring a 12x16 deck, bedroom, full kitchen, full bath, and a kitchenette/bar. (Sleeps 4) We are 5 miles from Mark Twain national Forest, as well as multiple conservation areas with creek access. Several wineries are nearby through scenic backroads. (Charleville, Twin Oaks, Sand Creek). Bring your SXS's for days of backroad riding that spans 4 counties (Perry, Ste Genevieve, Madison, and Bollinger). We stayed in Wandering Willow and had an awesome time. We were able to park right up next to the tent, which made unloading and setting up super easy. We even set up an awning and cooked off our tailgate setup, and it felt like the perfect mix of glamping comfort and real camping vibes. The common bathhouse deserves a special shoutout—sparkly clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with extra little amenities (things like water bottles and coffee creamers) that make a big difference. Overall, this was a fantastic camping experience and we’d absolutely come back. Only minor note: the tents are fairly close together (around ~200 feet apart), and with less tree cover in this season, it wasn’t as private as it might be at other times of year. That said, it didn’t take away from how great the stay was. Highly recommend!

Amazing spot, super private and great hosts. It is off the beaten path a bit. There is a bit of off-roading as the paved road ends about 2 miles before you get to your destination. The rv pads are a bit narrow if you have a slide and want to stay on the gravel. However it’s worth it!

Cozy, well thought out tiny house. I felt very taken care of in the way the house was set up as if my needs were anticipated. The clasper soaking tub is a touch of luxury. The setting is beautiful. Birds, bunnies, and horses were lovely company. Definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to Cinco de Mayo Campground

If you’re looking for a peaceful spot, this is it. We were in space #1 full rv hookup and had an absolutely beautiful view of the field. Wild turkey rummaged through the field. The 3 camp cats would sometimes quietly supervise our dogs but didn’t antagonize. Very easy to get to right off the main road and had a wonderful time walking the river, looking at stones and guppies. The bath house is well maintained and the option to do laundry was awesome! Jo was the ultimate host and we would highly recommend Cinco De Mayo!

We stayed in the glamping tent, it was our first time ever staying in something like this. We typically either tent camp or stay in a cabin. It was a great location on the scenic byway. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do for a short weekend. The site was clean and the bed was super comfy. The night got cool so we were thankful for the heated bed. Thanks for a great stay!!

We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a great outdoor experience, whether you're planning to ride the trails or just enjoy the natural beauty. It's clear that a lot of care and attention has been put into making this a top-notch destination for both horses and ATVs. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any questions or needs we had. Be sure you take the Hwy 19 to State Hwy N or else be prepared to do a bit of off roading before you get there.

Weekend Trip to Delightful 1 bedroom peaceful tiny house

We loved every second of being at this tiny home! Melissa and Rick’s farm is so beautiful, right next to the house are horses with a very friendly horse Bubba who will come and greet you. On this property there are an assortment of animals: cows, chickens, cats, the CUTEST dogs, and friendly goats. Rick is so friendly and took my boyfriend and I on a tour and it was our favorite part of this trip, we didn’t want to leave!! Inside the Home there is a microwave, tv with dvd player, plates and cutlery, an electric skillet, clawfoot tub and a shower. There is no kitchen sink so we just used bathroom sink to do dishes, wasn’t too much of an issue. Outside is a bench perfectly located so you can enjoy the sunset, which you’re going to because they are truly magical. You can make a campfire and there is also a grill available. Was a great time and we are already talking about coming back, Melissa and Rick are amazing!!

Weekend Trip to Delightful 1 bedroom peaceful tiny house

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this place. It met every expectation and added more. The land is beautiful, with slightly rolling hills, but in those hills are about 30 different horses with a whole cascade of personalities, and about 20 cows and calves(watching the calves play is so cute, I was giggling like a maniac all weekend). Rick (Melissa’s husband) is such a great host, he has a story for every animal on his property, and you can tell that he loves being out there. Besides the cattle’s and horses, there’s a wide array of birds such as guinea fowl and peacocks, goats and chickens, some beautiful country pigeons, and even a domesticated raccoon named Captain(who has more personality than the rest of the animals combined). The retired hunting dogs that live on the property are SO excited to see a new face and to get pet, along with a few of the smallest, cutest dogs I’ve ever seen in my life. The house itself is also a treat! They provided a mini fridge, microwave, and a decent sized electric skillet for cooking, along with a coffee pot and Keurig(with coffee supplied!). There’s also a small tv with a dvd player attached, and a wide assortment of movies. The bathroom was wicked cool, my girlfriend really loved ending our second day with a good soak in the clawfoot tub, but there’s also a shower in case you get dirty from petting horses out in the field with Rick. All in all, this place was something incredible, we will 110% be back to stay in here again!!

MY HUSBAND AND I LOVED CAMPSITE 31! IT WAS SECLUDED, SHADED, AND HAS GREAT VIEWS. YOU ARE NOT ON TOP OF YOUR NEIGHBORS. THE BATHROOMS WERE CLEAN. WE DIDN'T GET TO SWIM BUT THE POOL WAS CLEAN AND VERY INVITING. DOG FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. STAFF WAS EASILY REACHED AND NICE ABOUT ME CALLING TO GET FIREWOOD AND STAY AND EXTRA NIGHT. WE VISITED STATE PARKS CLOSE BY, THERE WERE PLENTY OF SWIMMING HOLES WE ENJOYED. THEY HAD A STORE YOU CAN CALL STAFF TO MAKE A PURCHASE, LIMITED MERCHANDISE. WE WERE ABLE TO RELAX AND ENJOY OUR TIME AND PLAN TO GO BACK AS SOON AS WE CAN!

Keith and Benka have “piece of Eden” ! I went on a solo trip looking for some personal me self care time. I asked Keith for some options on hiking and waterfalls. He recommended the best options for me and my personal preferences. The Tipi was over the top beautiful and nestled just right within the woods. Private. Beds are very comfortable and have heaters in them for winter. The accessories for your stay are endless! ! They have remembered everything a traveler may forget. Cute grill that is private and sun room with a fridge to use. Bath house with very modern and clean !! Owls hooting at night reminding Mother Nature works even when sun is down. Morning meditation on my own personal deck! Perfection to start the day with. Benka’s cinnamon coffee was extra special and yummy to the daybreak of peace and quiet of the new day. Keith & Benka are world travelers that have lived and captured their experiences thru out the property with books and photography . They also support Tibetan children that are in exile with a donations collected. This is an exceptional couple with kindness to share for their travelers and people of all cultures! I will most certainly stay again and again! Deep gratitude for my new friends!

Wonderful camp with lots of space and amenities. Beyond friendly and helpful staff, who provided free coffee and advice on area activities. We stayed in the glamping tent, which was an excellent value and very cute and comfortable. All we had to bring was our clothing. Super close to town, but tucked into the woods and very secluded looking. Loved the porch and corn hole area, as well!
