The highway used to run on the back of the property. In the 1800's there was a church on the back side of the property where one of our campsites is today. The ranch has beautiful scenery, lots of Wildlife, berries and wildflowers. Short drive to Lebanon (all amenities), Bennett Spring State Park, and Springfield.
1.5 hours to Branson, Table Rock Lake, and other state parks.
Fresh eggs with advance request (subject to availability).
Vehicles + trailers (combined) greater than 30 feet not recommended when grounds are wet. May be difficult to turn around.
Comments:
1) Please excuse the mess - we have many projects in progress in the front of the property. The back of the property is private.
2) We recommend repellent for ticks, chiggers, mosquitos, and other bugs during warm season.
3) The Cicada season usually starts in May. We recommend earplugs if that sound bothers you.
4) During heavy rain, there is a seasonal creek leading to the back of the property that can be difficult to pass without a 4X4. If you aren't driving a 4x4, park closer to the house on the gravel driveway.
5) There is a walking trail around the perimeter of the property.

We are a small hobby farm with a dog, chickens, a small fruit orchard, vineyard, and garden!! Loved Dockley Ranch SO much and can’t wait to go back. The pups, goats, alpaca, chickens, mushrooms, Claire, and Myke were all so welcoming! We explored the trails every day, used the awesome fire pit every night, and we still didn’t want to leave after our long weekend.

I spent a few days staying at this absolute gem. The space is layed out very well. The hot tub was amazing! I am so glad I chose this place for my first Hipcamp experience. Lacey has done an amaozing job on this cabin. The twinkle lights all of it create a magical ambaince even when it was raining the front porch looking over the river was so beatuiful. I will absolutely be back!!

My son and I enjoyed camping at Riverbend Campground. We stayed 2 days and found the directions easy to follow and the land was a beautiful as expected! Bathroom and shower were functional and we had a great time. The path to the river was quite steep, so be prepared if you plan to hike down to it.

There are several fun activity options like billiards, disc golf, axe throwing (you read that right), and a swimming spot that looks like it would be especially fun for kids when open in the summer. Teresa was very nice and hauled my half wheelbarrow of firewood down the hill personally. I had a very positive experience there.

Four nights here is the perfect amount of time to reset and return to the world. Recommend the route from the East through Alva even if you have to circle around. Double recommend if you have passengers prone to motion sickness. Triple recommend because Alva is cute, and has Melancholy Coffee Roasters.
